This research aims to analyze the market reactions of Eid Mubarak Holiday which is indicated by the presence of average abnormal return and average abnormal trading volume activity on issuers in ISSI list within 2011-2013 period, and especially for the issuers which engaged in the field of food and drinking product industries, also retail industries as well.The method used in this research is event study which will analyze the alteration of price movements and volume of stock trading before and after Eid Mubarak Holiday. The hypothesis of this research is the presence of trading reaction that indicated by average normal return and the difference of average abnormal trading volume activity before and after Eid Mubarak Holiday. This research testing uses one sample-test to seek if there are any average normal returns around Eid Mubarak Holiday, while paired sample-test is used to test the difference of average normal trading volume activity before and after Eid Mubarak Holiday. The writer did the research within 41 days, divided into two periods. 30 days before Eid Mubarak Holiday and 10 days after Eid Mubarak Holiday. The amount of sample in this research is 31 issuers which have met the sampling criteria using purposive sampling.The result of the first hypothesis indicates that there is insignificant average abnormal return, while the second hypothesis indicates the difference of significant average abnormal trading volume activity.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law on the LQ-45 index. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with data collection techniques using the documentation method. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with certain criteria so as to obtain 45 samples. The analytical technique used in this research is paired sample t-test with an observation period of 10 days. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is no difference in the average abnormal return before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law. (2) There is no difference in the average trading volume activity before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law.

This study applied an event study approach  (event study).  The event tested the announcement of Sukuk emissions and market reactions as indicated by the existence of a significant Abnormal Return on the date of Sukuk emissions and it changed within the activity of Stock Trader of the Corporation Sukuk Issuer. Observation period between 2009-2018, there was 129 Sukuk emissions in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples taken was 26 emissions of Sukuk which make emissions from 12 issuers that met the set criteria. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, independent t-test, t-paired test, and regression analysis.  Furthermore, the data were processed using IBM SPSS for Windows Software. The results showed that there was a difference in Average Abnormal Return (AAR) before and after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. However, the average value of the difference was not statistically significant. There was a positive market reaction on Average Abnormal Return (AAR) before the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There was a positive market reaction on Average Abnormal Return (AAR) after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There were differences in the Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) before and after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. However, the average value of the difference was not statistically significant. There was a significant market reaction on Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) before the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There was a significant market reaction of Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. Furthermore, this study also found that Sukuk to Equity Ratio (SER) had a positive effect, but not significantly on the level of  Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Earning per Share (EPS), but it was not significant. These insignificant effects of  SER  on the issuer's  ROA,  ROE  and  EPS were caused by the relatively small proportion of Sukuk value compared to the value of assets and company equity.

The purpose of this study to analyze the differences abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after pilpres 9 July 2014, at the company Bakrie Group and MNC Group. The results show: (1) There are no differences in average abnormal return before and after pilpres 9 Juli 2014 on the company Bakrie Group and MNC Group.The absence of a difference is becausereaction IDX to the pilpres 9 July 2014 is instantaneous and not prolonged. (2) There are no differences inaveragetrading volume activitybefore and after pilpres 9 Juli 2014 on the company Bakrie Group, but there are differences in average trading volume activitybefore and after pilpres 9 July 2014 on the companyMNC Group. The discrepancies in the company MNC Group is because investors MNC Group took profit rollicking tacking. While no differences in the company Bakrie Group is because investors Bakrie Group are not bothered by pilpres 9 July 2014. On November 5, 2020, Indonesia was declared a recession after the Central Statistics Agency announced that the Indonesian economy experienced a decline in the third quarter of 2020. The Indonesian economy experienced a decline in the third quarter of 2020, which was minus 3.49 percent. In the second quarter of 2020, the Indonesian economy was already minus 5.32 percent. The announcement of the recession event gave rise to various perceptions for capital market participants. So the purpose of this study is to find out and compare the differences in the average Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity, and Security Return Variability of IDX 30 issuers before and after the announcement of the recession due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative research with an event study approach. The type of data in this study is secondary data with data collection techniques using the documentation method. The sample used is IDX30 stock issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period August 2020 - January 2021. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive statistical analysis, paired t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference in the average abnormal return of IDX 30 issuers before and after the announcement of the recession due to the covid-19 pandemic. (2) there is a significant difference in the average Trading Volume Activity of IDX 30 issuers before and after the announcement of the recession due to the covid-19 pandemic. (3) there is no significant difference in the average Security Return Variability of IDX 30 issuers before and after the announcement of the recession due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In early 2020, stock trading in Indonesia was under significant pressure, as indicated by the decline in the IHSG. This is due to the pressure and global economic slowdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic and weakening world oil prices. The purpose of this study was to find out how the effect of share buyback announcements without the RUPS on the response to the market at PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk. based on Surat Edaran OJK Nomor 3/SEOJK.04/2020. This research is structured with a quantitative method with a descriptive approach using secondary data types obtained from finance.yahoo.com and other relevant sources. This study will assess whether a significant difference is found before the announcement of the stock buyback and afterwards on the return, abnormal return, and trading volume activity of the stock. The results of the study stated that there was no significant difference before and after the announcement of the stock buyback on the return and abnormal return at PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk. However, a significant difference was found in the trading volume activity (TVA) before the announcement of the share buyback at PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk. and after.

This study aims to find out and explain the market reaction caused by the corporate action announcement in the form of dividend cash made by issuers registered in the Jakarta Islamic Index for the period of 2014 to 2017. The object of research is issuers who carry out activities on the announcement of Cash Devidend in the period of observation that are registered in the Jakarta Islamist Index which has been determined based on certain criteria (purposive sampling). There are 17 issuers with a total of 91 being the research sample. The observation period consists of 60 days estimated period, 10 days before the cume date and 10 days after the cume date. The focus of the research is to see the reaction shown by changes in Average Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity by using paired sample t-test for trading volume activity variables and Wilcoxon sign-rank test for abnormal return variables. Processing data using Stata ver statistical tools 14 by setting a significant level of 5%. The results showed that there were significant differences in Average Abnormal Return before and after the announcement and there were no differences in the Trading Volume Activity before and after the announcement.Keywords: event study, cash deviden, Average Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity

Political events are one of the factors that influence a country’s economic conditions. The capital market as an economic instrument cannot be separated from various environmental influences, both economic and non economic environment. The aim of the research is to find out the difference of abnormal return and trading volume activity between 10 days before and 10 days after Simultaneous General Election 2019 on the stocks included in the Jakarta Islamic Index. The sampling method in this study was conducted using saturated samples of 30 companies. Statistical analysis method used is Paired Sample T-Test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The result of statistical test shows that variabel abnormal return and trading volume activity produce the conclution that there is no difference in abnormal return and trading volume activity between 10 days before and 10 days after Simultaneous General Election 2019 on the stocks included in the Jakarta Islamic Index. The implications of this study for issuers do not need to worry about Simultaneous General Election information because the event does not significantly influence on abnormal return and trading volume activity.

This research is an event study that aims to determine the market reaction arising from the movement of the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia. The date chosen as the event date is April 29, 2019 when the issue first came out and August 26, 2019 when the official announcement. The samples used in this study are all companies included in the LQ45 index for the February-July 2019 and August 2019-January 2020 periods. The data analysis technique used is the different test. The results showed there were no differences in the average abnormal return before and after the issue first came out, but there were differences in the average abnormal return before and after the official announcement. There is a difference in the average trading volume activity before and after the issue first came out and when the official announcement of the move of the capital of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine market reaction in the event of simultaneous regional elections in 2018. This research is an event study with a period of observation for 7 days. The study was conducted on companies classified as LQ45 from February to July 2018. The population in this study was 45 companies. The method of determining the sample used is a non probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample obtained was 37 companies. The market reaction to the 2018 simultaneous regional elections was measured using abnormal return and trading volume activity. The data analysis technique used is paired-sample t-test. The test results show that there is no difference in average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the events of simultaneous regional elections. This shows that simultaneous regional elections in 2018 did not cause market reaction because there was no information content on the event. Keywords: Event study, abnormal return, politics

The increase in the price of Fuel (BBM) can zoom in on the burden of the community and the business world. Vice versa, the drop in the price of fuel not only lighten the load of the community but also for the business world. Announcements containing information (information content), expected the market will react at the time the announcement was welcomed by the market. Market reaction is indicated by the existence of changes in prices of the securities in question. This research was conducted to find out whether there are abnormal return there is a difference, the difference in stock trading volume activity, abnormal return of shares and trading volume of activity before and after the events of the increase in the price of fuel oil. This research is quantitative research by doing event study. The population in this research is the stocks category LQ-45 period of March 2015 to April 2016 with a sample of companies that have listed on the Group Index LQ 45 period November 2014 and March 2015 and don't do Corporate Action. The results of hypothesis testing of research it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the Abnormal Return (AR) and Trading Volume Activity (TVA) and events before and after the events of rising fuel prices, then there is no a significant difference between the Abnormal Return (AR) and between Trading Volume Activity (TVA) and event announcements of events before and after the drop in the price of fuel.
