The aim of work is valuation of the effectiveness of autologous lymphocytes activated by complex of cytokines to prevent erysipelas of patients with after breast cancer syndrome. The estimate of influence of activated autologous lymphocytes to erysipelas. The treatment results of 128 patients with secondary lymphedema of the upper limb II–III stage after curative treatment of breast cancer are included in the work.Activated roncoleukin auto lymphocytes injections were performed in the forearm of the affected limb to the main group’s patients.17.4% faces relapses were recorded in the comparison group. while the group with the usage of activated roncoleukin autologous lymphocytes had achieved significant reductions in recurrent of erysipelas up to 5%.

The treatment results of 172 patients with breast cancer, who underwent radical surgery on the breast, were analyzed. During the last 4 years, the implementation of combined surgical interventions — radical surgery with removal of the tumor with D2 lymphnode dissection and the simultaneous installation of a silicone implant (in 17 patients — 17.4%) takes attention. In most cases, the early postoperative period proceeded safely. During the early postoperative period, complications occurred in 30 (17.4%) patients: long postoperative lymphorrhea - 25 (14.5%) cases, which in 6 (3.6%) patients leaded to the development of seroma, and in two (1.2 %) of them - suppuration of the postoperative wound. Diastasis of wound edges was noted in 4 (2.3%) patients. In 1 (0.6%) case, bleeding was observed on the first day after surgery. Postoperative mortality rate was 0%. 10 (5.8%) patients were admitted for the surgery during the period from 1 to 3 years after the primary radical surgery due to a local recurrence of breast cancer. Despite the arsenal of modern diagnostic, anesthetic and surgical support, the issue of postoperative complications prevention and the disease recurrence prevention of the patients with breast cancer remains relevant.

Abstract Background: Breast cancer-related lymphedema is usually characterized by edema of the affected the ipsilateral upper limb and trunk. We report a case of aggravated primary lymphedema in the contralateral limb and trunk after breast cancer resection and axillary lymph node dissection.Case presentation: A 63-year-old female developed right thorax-back and upper limb swelling since childhood. After the modified mastectomy, the swelling of her right chest, back and upper limb increased. While she had no edema of left torso and limb. There was no relevant supplementary examination data because she refused to take lymphoscintigraphy or MRI scan. However, according to her medical history and physical examination, she was preliminarily diagnosed as primary lymphedema, International Society of lymphedema stage 2.Conclusions: Primary lymphedema and secondary lymphedema may be both results of the interaction of multiple factors and can be induced or aggravated by trauma, surgery or other reasons besides the abnormal lymphatic development of individuals.

AbstractThe breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, both in Poland and in the world. Consequences entail a disruption in the physical, psychological and social functioning.was to assess the acceptance of illness by patients treated for breast cancer in the early postoperative period. The research was conducted on the group of 100 consecutive patients aged 32-80 years (median 56 years) who underwent surgery for breast cancer in the Centre of Oncology in Bydgoszcz w 2014 roku. 68 of women had mastectomy, 32 of women had conservative surgery. Polling was conducted in the early period after surgery. The original questionnaire containing closed questions the scale of acceptance of the disease (AIS) as well as mental adaptation to cancer (Mini-Mac) was used in the study.38% of patients had high acceptance of the disease, 48% averageand 14% had low acceptance. Patients after conservative surgery had a higher average values for the mental strategies to cope with the disease, for the fighting spirit (23.1), helplessness and hopelessness (13.5), positive revaluation (23), the patients had a lower average (16.5) in the strategy to absorb anxiety. Patients after conservative surgery had a higher average for constructive style (2.6) but lower for destructive style (1.5). High level of mental coping with the disease was observed in 53%of patients with constructive style and 4% of patients with destructive style. While, a low level of mental coping with the dosease was observed in 5% of patients with constructive style and 46% of patients with destructive style.Almost half of women after mastectomy or conservative surgery had an average acceptance of the disease. The disease was accepted best by educated women living in the cities, white-collar workers with a good economic situation. The following factors were affected the better management of the disease, in order: age, education, current occupation and economic situation, while the type of surgery did not affect better management. More than half of women, regardless of the type of surgery reflected the high level of constructive style.

Background. Rehabilitation of patients after radical treatment of breast cancer is especially relevant due to the fact that successes in diagnostics and treatment of this disease in recent years have led to an increase in the life expectancy of female patients. Aim. to compare the efficiency of various methods of low-frequency low-intensity magnetotherapy in patients operated on for breast cancer, in the early terms (24 days) after surgery. Methods. Objective and instrumental examination was performed in 78 patients after radical surgical treatment of breast cancer in the early stages (24 days) after surgery. All patients received a course of low-frequency low-intensity magnetotherapy. Results. When applying the extended technique (the effect on the segmental-reflex region and upper limb from the side of the surgery), patients noted an improvement in the quality of life, a decrease in swelling of the upper limb, and a decrease in pain syndrome. A decrease in the number of postoperative complications and the duration of lymphorrhea was noted. Conclusion. Thus, the use of various methods of low-frequency low-intensity magnetotherapy is advisable to use in the early terms (24 days) after surgical treatment, however, the use of the advanced technique provides high function capabilities and enables to get a more pronounced and lasting clinical result.

Modern medical practice shows that the only eff ective treatment for breast cancer in dogs is surgery; current developments in chemotherapy and radiation therapy are ineff ective and too expensive. To identify the types of breast tumors and their anatomical distribution, it is necessary to have a reliable histological diagnosis. In most cases, it is used because the main treatment for breast cancer in dogs is their surgical removal. Undoubtedly decisive for this method of treatment are the phenomena of intoxication and endotoxicosis. Endotoxicosis in the early postoperative period consists of iatrogenic, tumor with tumors isolated and based on a small number of observations. However, the results of intoxication and the consequences of massive surgical tissue damage are often a determining factor for the outcome of treatment. Unfortunately, reports of studies of MSM in animals obtained by us indicate that almost all animals with breast tumors have endogenous intoxication, which we detected by the level of MSM and MDA in blood plasma. In our opinion, determination of the level of these markers of endotoxicosis before surgery and in the postoperative period can be an objective criterion for the risk of surgical treatment. Monitoring the level of MSM in the remote postoperative period, in combination with other biochemical studies can be a criterion for assessing the general clinical condition of the animal for the development of metastases. Probably lower levels of endogenous intoxication and clinically confi rmed reduction in the duration of treatment are a clear confi rmation of the eff ectiveness of high-frequency electrocoagulator EK-300M1. Dogs with breast tumors had high levels of MSM and MDA, which is a refl ection of the level of endogenous intoxication and may be an objective criterion for the risk of surgical treatment and postoperative recovery. Progressive reduction of these indicators in animals of the experimental group proves the eff ectiveness of the proposed treatment tactics. Key words: tumors, electrocoagulator EK-300M1, mastectomy, female dogs, oncology, endogenous intoxication, wound healing.
