According to the characteristics of hydraulic support intelligent control, the hydraulic support control system is designed and analyzed based on Controller Area Network (CAN) technology. Through the characteristics of CAN-bus network communication, the host computer communication and monitoring requirements is researched, and the mission of function is established. The data transmission program is designed under MSComm ActiveX which accomplishes stable communication function. Based on hydraulic test bench, the reliability of data transmission is verified which provides some guidance for the development of the intelligent control.

This paper introduces the hardware and the communication software design of control system based on Controller Area Network bus. The control system can realize to control the motion of servomotor through high speed C8501F040 single chip microcomputer with Controller Area Network bus and special motion controller - LM628. Vehicle will be connected to the Internet as both for ubiquitous remote controlling and as a means to meet Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) needs. At first, a gateway system between Controller Area Network (CAN) and IPV6 is required to connect vehicles to the Internet. Then this paper achieves the access of vehicle information and the control of vehicle using the CDMA wireless network based on the gateway. Finally, according to the result of the test, we have verified the correction and effectiveness of the control system.

3-axes motion is broadly used in industry numerical control machine. Many motion controller we use are usually limited by the number of interface it consist. But the kind of motion controller based on CAN (Controller Area Network ) can solve this problem properly. We can add a controller of one axe conveniently. I use a Advantech CAN motion controller to build the motion control system.
