The study aimed to prove the positive effect of: (1) learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes; (2) independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes; (3) discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes. The study used correlational method. Data analysis used simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that: first, there was positive effect between learning discipline and mathematics learning outcomes (tcount = 4.647> ttable = 1.652 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 9%. The regression equation was Y = 1.621 + 0.054X1. Second, there was positive effect between independence in learning and mathematics learning outcomes (tcount = 6.941> ttable = 1.652 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 18.1%. The regression equation was Y = -8,167 + 0.084X2. Third, there was positive effect between discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes (Fcount = 24,559> Ftable = 19,491 and Sig. 0,000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 18.5%. The regression equation was Y = -9,367 + 0.013X1 + 0.075X2. It concludes that there is positive effect between discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020 simultaneously or separately.

Kata kunci: Kecemasan matematika, hasil belajar matematika Abstract — This study aims to determine the effect of mathematics anxiety on student mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted in Class VIII of SMPN 3 Sidoarjo Even Semester Academic Year 2019/2020 with research samples in class VIII-B and class VIII-C conducted with simple random sample technique. This research is included in quantitative research using simple linier regression analysis, then performed a classic assumption test. To determine the effect between variables, a simple linier regression analysis was performed. SPSS application version 26 is used to help researchers make conclusion. To determine whether the regression model is good or not according to BLUE (Best Linier Unbiased Estimator) classic assumption test is performed. The instrument used were mathematics anxiety survey and mathematics learning achievement test. From the calculation result get the following equation Y = 143,748−0,965X. The regression equation coefficient has a negative value meaning that mathematics anxiety has a negative relationship with the learning outcomes of mathematics. The correlation coefficient value is -0,741 which means it has a very low and significant relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes. The coefficient of determine of 0,548 means that mathematics learning outcomes has an effect of 54,8%. From the results of the classic assumption test it was found that the result of the linier regression equation, homoscedastic, non-autocorrelation, non-multicorrelation and normality. From the analysis it can be concluded that mathematics anxiety has a significant negative affect on mathematics anxiety will affect the low student mathematics learning outcomes and the lower mathematics anxiety will affect the higher student mathematics learning outcomes. Keywords: Mathematics anxiety, mathematics learning outcomes

This type of research is ex-post facto which is causal. The population in this study were all students of class X at Alkhairaat High School 1 Palu. The population in this study was less than 100, namely 52 students. By this, the researcher did not conduct sampling in this study, so this study was a population research. The research variables included self-efficacy (X1), self-regulation (X2), namely as independent variables and mathematics learning outcomes (Y) as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques using documentation, tests and questionnaires. The prerequisite test shows that the data in this study are normally distributed, so hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis through the SPSS 23 application. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the level of self-efficacy of students is 71 in the medium category. 2) the level of self-regulation of students is 141 in the medium category. 3) the level of mathematics learning outcomes of students is 63 in the medium category. 4) significant value of self-efficacy of 0,000 <0,05 and a regression coefficient of 0,446 with a positive value, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted meaning self-efficacy has a positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes. 4) significant value of self-regulation of 0,000 <0,05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0,264 with a positive value, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted meaning self regulation has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of mathematics. 5) R Square coefficient or coefficient of determination shows that the percentage contribution of the influence of independent variables is 58.5%. This shows that self-efficacy and self-regulation influence the mathematics learning outcomes by 58.5% and the other 41.5% are influenced by variables outside of self-efficacy and regulation

This study aims to determine whether there is significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. It is a correlation research where population of all students of fifth grade at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru consisted of 109 students while the sampling method is cluster sampling. The instruments used are self confidence questionnaire and documentation of student mathematics learning outcomes that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used by the writer is product moment correlation test. The result shows that there is a significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru with a large relationship of 0.345 and it is categorized in low relationship category. This means that the increase in variable x will be followed by an increase in variable y. The coefficient of determination in this study is 0.119 which means that self-confidence contributes to student mathematics learning outcomes by 11.9% and the remaining 88.1% is caused by other factors such as teachers, infrastructure, intelligence and student motivation. The results of this study can provide information about one of the factors that affect student learning outcomes in mathematics so that the school, teachers and parents can determine effective steps to improve student mathematics learning outcomes.
