<p class="Abstract">There have been profiling the level of understanding of physics concept (dynamics and kinematics) of students' (SMA and MA) in madiun region. Profiling is done by using the Force Concept Inventory test. Samples were taken from 120 students from SMA and MA  in Madiun and Ponorogo. The results indicate that FCI test number 23 and number 16 is the most answered incorrectly by the students. Problem number 23 related to kinematics and test number 16 on Newton's third law. Only 24.16% of students answered correctly test numbers 23 and 25% of students answered correctly test number 16. Students SMA and MA do not understand the concept well and can’t represent concept in another shapes. These results provide an indication that the learning concept needs to be implementation at SMA and MA.</p>

This study sought to assess the representational format of task options in the representational variant of the force concept Inventory (R-FCI) test, namely its impact on students’ problem-solving approaches. This was done with the help of eye-tracking equipment. 35 high-school students solved four tasks, mainly from the R-FCI test, which sought to assess the student’s understanding of Newton’s 1st and 2nd Law of Motion. As they were trying to solve the problems, their gazes were tracked by TobiiTX300. A comparison between students who provided the correct and incorrect answer was subsequently carried out. The correctly answering students very quickly found the correct solution both in verbal and graph representation. For motion map representation, they usually compared and made decision between two options. The incorrectly answering students did not show any consistent strategy except they paid the least attention to the correct answer. Moreover, two case stud studies of correctly and incorrectly answering students were described.

In this work, we tried to check whether students can overcome their mistakes in conceptual physics questions by peer discussion. For this purpose, we administered Force Concept Inventory to high school students and university students. Our study showed that high school students and university students could not overcome their mistakes in the conceptual physics questions by peer discussion. We separately found out that males are better than females at conceptual physics questions.

Inventori Konsep Daya is an instrument that is adapted from the Force Concept Inventory (FCI). It is an instrument consisting of 30 diagnostic items related to the concept of force and motion. This instrument is widely used in physics education. However, the validity of this instrument in Bahasa Malaysia is not well studied to ensure that the items in the instrument function properly. Based on previous research, one of the major issues that are often questioned in the FCI is the reliability of the instrument when administered to different groups. When studies conducted in this country, researchers often use the reliability analysis under the Classical Test Theory. Various weaknesses are identified when evaluating using the analysis under the theory. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to apply the Rasch model under Item Response Theory in analyzing the items in Inventori Konsep Daya. Several analyzes were selected to determine the validity of the items and instruments. This study will be conducted on three levels of students involved in the learning of force and motion concepts. 300 samples will be taken from school students, elementary or matriculation students as well as undergraduate students who have studied this topic. The data will be analyzed using Windstep software. The results showed that Inventori Konsep Daya was a good instrument with high reliability and separation index, positive polarity value for every item, and fit the Rasch model. However, the instrument was quite difficult for the respondents in this study. This study is important in providing information to other researchers who will use FCI as an instrument in their study. In addition, the findings of this study can also be used to compare with the previous studies to draw more accurate conclusions.

Indonesia on the fifth ranks in the world considering of accident number, after China, India, Afghanistan, and Nigeria, where East Java is the province that has the highest accident in Indonesia. The city of Surabaya as the Capital of East Java Province automatically became the centre of government activities, giving rise to transportation activities that indirectly had an impact on accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to obtain the accident rate and the location of black site in the city of Surabaya. In addition, considering that productive age including junior high school (SMP) is the highest contributor on the accidents, the level of understanding of junior high school students on traffic regulations needs to be analysed. From the data obtained at IRSMS, it can be seen that five roads in Surabaya were the highest contributors to accidents in Surabaya, namely Mastrip, Diponegoro, A. Yani, Kenjeran, and Ir. Soekarno, where the five roads are inter-city connecting roads that blend with the road in the city. In addition, from the interview data, there was a relationship between awareness of traffic behaviour and willingness to protect themselves. Indonesia menduduki peringkat kelima, setelah Tiongkok, India, Afghanistan, dan Nigeria. Dan Jawa Timur adalah propinsi yang mempunyai kecelakaan tertinggi di Indonesia. Kota Surabaya sebagai Ibukota Provinsi Jawa Timur secara otomatis menjadi pusat kegiatan pemerintahan, sehingga menimbulkan kegiatan transportasi yang secara tidak langsung berdampak pada terjadinya kecelakaan. Oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh nilai accident rate, serta black site di Kota Surabaya. Selain itu mengingat usia produktif termasuk anak sekolah tingakat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMP) adalah penyumbang kecelakaan tertinggi, maka tingkat pemahaman para pelajar SMP terhadap peraturan lalu lintas perlu di analisa. Dari data yang didapat pada IRMS, terlihat bahwa lima jalan di kota Surabaya menjadi penyumbang kecelakaan tertinggi di Surabaya, yaitu jalan A. Yani, Mastrip, Diponegoro, Kenjeran dan Ir. Soekarno, dimana kelima jalan tersebut adalah jalan-jalan penghubung antar kota yang berbaur dengan jalan dalam kota. Selain itu dari data wawancara diperoleh hubungan antara niat dengan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan lalu lintas.

It is undeniable that banking transactions are already inherent in everyday life. Therefore, banking literacy needs to be owned by each individual. People who are well literate easier to understand matters related to banking and have information to access the necessary banking services. To support efforts to improve financial literacy, one of which is in the banking sector, socialization in the form of community service needs to be done. Community service is intended for young junior high school students (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) with the theme "Bank Facilitates Our Transactions. The main purpose of this community service focuses on improving the insight of banking literacy among junior high schools. This service program is carried out in 1 (one) day with structured training methods, namely lecture methods, information discussions and lastly conducted previews, evaluations and question and answer questions as a reference to assess how much participants understand the material that has been submitted. Basically the banking literacy of SMP-IT ARAFAH students is quite good and after the implementation of community service there was an increase in the average level of understanding of students which was originally 71.22% to 86.97%. This shows that efforts to improve banking literacy through the implementation of community service have produced positive results. Similar activities need to be developed further in order to instill banking literacy early on. Thus will create a well literate and financially inclusive society that will ultimately support economic development. Abstrak Tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa transaksi perbankan sudah melekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, literasi perbankan perlu dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Masyarakat yang well literate lebih mudah memahami hal-hal yang terkait dengan perbankan serta memiliki informasi untuk mengakses layanan jasa perbankan yang diperlukan. Untuk mendukung upaya peningkatan literasi keuangan salah satunya pada sektor perbankan, maka sosialisasai dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat perlu dilakukan. Pengabdian masyarakat ditujukan bagi kalangan muda siswi Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) dengan tema “Bank Mempermudah Transaksi Kita. Tujuan utama pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan wawasan literasi perbankan di kalangan Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP). Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 1 (satu) hari dengan metode pelatihan terstruktur yakni metode ceramah, diskusi informasi dan terakhir dilakukan preview, evaluasi dan tanya jawab sebagai acuan untuk menilai seberapa besar pemahaman peserta terkait materi yang telah disampaikan. Pada dasarnya literasi perbankan Siswi SMP-IT ARAFAH sudah cukup baik dan setelah dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat terjadi kenaikan pada Rata-rata tingkat pemahaman Siswi yang semula 71,22% menjadi 86,97%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan literasi perbankan melalui pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat membuahkan hasil yang positif. Kegiatan serupa perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut guna menanamkan literasi perbankan sejak dini. Dengan demikian akan tercipta masyarakat yang well literate dan financially inclusive yang pada akhirnya akan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi. Στην παρούσα διατριβή ελέγχθηκε αν -ως τρέχουσα ψυχοπαθολογία- η κατάθλιψη, το άγχος και άλλα ψυχιατρικά συμπτώματα μπορούν να επιδράσουν στη μαθησιακή απόδοση εφήβων, αναφορικά με τη γνωστική περιοχή της Φυσικής. Για την έρευνα το δείγμα αποτελούνταν από 490 μαθητές εκ των οποίων 262 κορίτσια και 228 αγόρια που παρακολουθούσαν το πρώτο τρίμηνο, της δευτέρας τάξης του Γενικού Λυκείου. Για τον έλεγχο της βαθύτερης κατανόησης της Νευτώνειας Φυσικής χρησιμοποιήθηκε η δοκιμασία Force Concept Inventory (FCI). Η γενική ψυχική κατάσταση αξιολογήθηκε μέσω της δοκιμασίας Symptom Check List 90 (SCL). Οι μαθητές ελέγχθηκαν μέσα στην τάξη τους, κατά τη διάρκεια δύο διδακτικών ωρών. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι οι ψυχικές καταστάσεις είχαν αρνητική συσχέτιση με τη βαθμολογία στο FCI. H μεγαλύτερη διαφορά παρατηρήθηκε για την κατάθλιψη. Η βαθμολογία σε όλες τις εννέα κλίμακες συμπτωμάτων της SCL 90 ήταν υψηλότερη για τα κορίτσια. Όταν λήφθηκε υπόψη η σημαντική επίδραση της κατάθλιψης το φύλο δεν φάνηκε ότι είχε σημαντική επίδραση στη βαθμολογία του FCI. Διαπιστώθηκε ότι η κατανόηση της Νευτώνειας Φυσικής μεταξύ των μαθητών του λυκείου μπορεί να συσχετιστεί με κοινά προβλήματα ψυχικών παθήσεων, με αυτό της κατάθλιψης να είναι το μεγαλύτερο μεταξύ όλων. Απαιτείται περισσότερη έρευνα με τη χρήση μιας πιο συστηματικής προσέγγισης για να μετρήσει την κατάθλιψη μεταξύ εφήβων που παρουσιάζουν φτωχή κατανόηση της Φυσικής, έρευνα η οποία θα ήταν διαφωτιστική.
