In recent years, instructors have had an increasing interest in integrating Internet based technologies into their classroom as part of the learning environment. Compared to studies on other information systems, student users' behaviour towards e-portfolios have not been assessed and thoroughly understood. This paper analyses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in order to examine students' behavioural intention to use an electronic portfolio system, meaning how students use and appropriate it within the specific framework of a course. An E-Portfolio Usage Questionnaire was developed using existing scales from prior TAM instruments and modified where appropriate. Seventy-two participants completed the survey questionnaire measuring their responses to perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), attitudes towards usage (ATU) and behavioural intention to use (BIU) the e-portfolio system. The results of the study indicated that students' perceived ease of use (PEOU) had a significant influence on attitude towards usage (ATU). Subsequently, perceived ease of use (PEOU) had the strongest significant influence on perceived usefulness (PU). The research further demonstrated that individual characteristics and technological factors may have a significant influence on instructors to adopt e-portfolio into their courses. Results suggest that TAM is a solid theoretical model where its validity can extend to an e-portfolio context.

The present study aims to enrich the research on online entrepreneurship education, improve the level and ability of entrepreneurship services in China, and improve the overall success rate of entrepreneurship. Based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) proposed by researcher Davis, the study explores the application of TAM in online entrepreneurship education for new entrepreneurs. First, new entrepreneurs who are users of the online entrepreneurship education platform are selected as research objects, and then the influence of the four factors are studied, including perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, classroom self-efficacy, and perceived external control. Finally, the hypothesis proposed is tested. Results show that online entrepreneurship education influences the perceived ease of use of the user and perceived credibility: the quality of the online entrepreneurship education has a positive impact on the user's perceived usefulness, interactivity has a positive influence on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and interactivity positively influences the perceived ease of use of the user and perceived credibility. Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived credibility have a positive impact on the behavioral intention of the users. The proposed TAM provides some technical and theoretical support for the application of TAM in online entrepreneurship education for new entrepreneurs.

This study’s purpose was to establish a predictive model of the intention to accept Taekwondo electronic protector devices through the application of the technology acceptance model. Two hundred and twenty collegiate Taekwondo practitioners affiliated with the Korea Taekwondo Association participated in a survey that included 28 questions (4 relating to demographic characteristics, 12 to precursor variables, and 12 to the technology acceptance model). Correlation and structural equation modeling analyses were applied and a significance level of 0.05 was used. The results were as follows. Perceived quality had a significant influence on perceived ease of use (β = 0.380, t = 3.481, p < 0.001) and perceived usefulness (β = 0.544, t = 5.098, p < 0.001). Visual attractiveness had no significant influence on either perceived ease of use (β = 0.159, t = 1.798, p = 0.072) or perceived usefulness (β = −0.010, t = −0.131, p = 0.896). Wearability had a significant influence on perceived ease of use (β = 0.234, t = 2.867, p < 0.01), but a significantly negative influence on perceived usefulness (β = −0.218, t = −2.932, p < 0.01). Functionality had no significant influence on either perceived ease of use (β = 0.116, t = 1.031, p = 0.302) or perceived usefulness (β = 0.107, t = 1.093, p = 0.274). Perceived ease of use had a significant influence on perceived usefulness (β = 0.418, t = 4.361, p < 0.001) and acceptance intention (β = 0.361, t = 4.031, p < 0.001). Perceived usefulness had a significant influence on acceptance intention (β = 0.525, t = 5.758, p < 0.001). These results suggest that improving the perceived quality and wearability of the devices will enhance their acceptance. We believe that this study provides an appropriate verification model for the intention to accept Taekwondo electronic protection devices.

A large number of universities worldwide are paying more and more attention to the application and exploration of online education. As the group with the most significant number of online education users, their participation attitude and participation intention directly determine the teaching performance of online education. This research will incorporate playfulness teaching and scenario variables that reflect the universities’ ability to respond to emergencies. Based on the technology acceptance model, this research proposes an integrated research model of online education participation intention to investigate university students’ online education participation intention to reveal the key factors and mechanisms that affect online education participation intention. A structural equation model of participation intention is constructed, and 342 valid samples are obtained by questionnaire survey. The empirical results of PLS-SEM show that: (1) students’ participation attitude positively affects their participation intention; (2) the perceived ease of use and usefulness positively affect their participation attitude, and the perceived usefulness and ease of use affect their participation intention through the complete mediation of participation attitude; (3) the perceived playfulness does not have a significant impact on participation attitude but has a positive impact on participation intention; (4) the innovative discovery university support positively moderates the relationship between participation attitude and intention during such emergencies. The research found that improving students’ attitudes toward participation, perceived ease of use, usefulness, playfulness, and strengthening university support are all helpful to optimize students’ participation intention in online education. At the same time, it also explored operability suggestions for improving the quality of online education and optimizing future education.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the factors that influence the behavioural intention towards 5G connected autonomous vehicle (CAV) adoption and to examine the mediating effect of trust between the factors and public acceptance. This research has adopted the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. To test the hypotheses, 211 participants in Malaysia were surveyed through an online questionnaire. The results were tested using PLS-SEM. The research model was able to explain about 69% of the variability in technology acceptance. The results show that perceived compatibility and personal innovativeness significantly influence behavioural intention. Trust was found to mediate the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and social influence with behavioural intention to adopt 5G CAV. This paper will help the automobile industry and policymakers to accelerate the development of 5G CAV technology by anticipating the level of acceptance.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.
