ResuméI denne artikel udfoldes et pædagogisk begreb om modstand, der tager udgangspunkt i et forskningsprojekt, hvor vi, sammen med pædagogerne selv, har undersøgt pædagogers fortællinger om praksis, for at komme på sporet af deres forståelser af god pædagogik. Med afsæt i det empiriske materiale og teoretisk støtte i den pædagogiske opdragelsesfilosofi viser vi, hvordan barnets erfaringer med at opleve og komme overens med modstand, forstås som et produktivt og essentielt anliggende i daginstitutionspædagogikken. Artiklen giver indblik i en betydelig kompleksitet og dynamik forbundet med den måde, pædagogerne forstår og fortolker den pædagogiske opgave, det er, at støtte børnene i at engagere sig i en verden og et fællesskab og samtidig blive sig selv. Vi viser, hvordan pædagogernes fortolkninger har resonans i kulturelt overleverede pædagogiske narrativer om betydningen af at arbejde med barnets vilje, og udlæser et begreb om myndigblivelse, der ikke har fornuften som grundtone, men snarere det at ville sin vilje. Dermed peger artiklen på, at pædagoger opererer med en fortolkning og forståelse af god pædagogik, der er i samklang med Dagtilbudslovens brede formål om opdragelse til demokrati og selvstændiggørelse. AbstractAbout resistance, freedom and coming of age in early childhood education. In order to get an insight in the knowledge early childhood educators bring into play in their daily practices, we have explored about 200 stories from everyday life in Danish Day Care Institutions in collaboration with the pedagogues. What struck us in the analysis of the stories was that the pedagogical importance of resistance was repeatedly mentioned in the pedagogues search for realizing “good pedagogy” in everyday-life. The article points to pedagogues engagements in dealing tactfully with the resistance children encounter as a concern for children’s being in the world, more specifically: children’s ability to make themselves at home in the world (Cleary & Hogan, 2001; Gadamer, 2000). The article argues that engaging in such resistance in tactful ways is also a concern for a formation of the child’s will, enabling the appearance of the child’s subjectivity and the realization of promising children´s communities.

Sukuk and Bonds has differences and similarities. Fundamental differences between sukuk and bonds are first, underlying asset in every sukuk issuance, concept of profit loss sharing and the use of Islamic contracts. Whereas conducted research in practice of differences between sukuk and bonds are still an on-going discussion. This study aims to add the evidence in the discussion regarding whether there is differences between sukuk and bonds in the world of practice, provide investment preferences as well as educating investors in choosing sukuk or bonds as a sustainable and smooth instrument. The method used is Mann Whitney U-Test to test whether there is a different between yield to maturity (return) and standard deviation (risk) of both instruments. Using secondary data of Retail Sukuk (SR) and Retail Bonds (ORI) period 2008-2017 obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange, Indonesia Bond Market Directory and Indonesia Bond Pricing Agency. The result shows that there is no significance difference of retail sukuk return and risk with retail bonds in Indonesia. Besides retail bonds are show higher return than retail sukuk because of higher coupon and longest mature date. While, retail sukuk is more stable rather than bonds as it backed up by the real underlying asset. Keywords: Retail Sukuk (SR), Retail Bonds (ORI), Yield to Maturity

Access to high-quality resources is integral for educators to provide research-aligned mathematics instruction. Identifying the supplemental resources educators use to plan mathematics instruction can inform the ways researchers and organizations disseminate research-based practices. The goal of this study was to identify the frequency in which early childhood educators (i.e., pre-Kindergarten through third grade) reported using various resources to plan for mathematics instruction. Furthermore, we investigated whether differences were observed based on teacher factors (i.e., general or special education, route to certification, years of experience) and locale (i.e., rural, urban, suburban). We retained data from 917 teachers for data analysis. The three most frequently reported resources by educators were colleagues, Teachers Pay Teachers, and Google/Yahoo. The three least frequently reported resources were the typical outlets researchers use to reach teachers: What Works Clearinghouse, Teaching Exceptional Children, and Teaching Children Mathematics. General and special education teachers differed on their self-reported usage of five resources: colleagues, Google/Yahoo, teaching blogs, Teaching Exceptional Children, and the What Works Clearinghouse. Rural educators self-reported that they were less likely than suburban educators to use colleagues or specialists at the district to plan instruction. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.

Most of the world’s Muslims reside in countries where they are numericallypredominant. As such, these Muslims possess a majoritarian outlook in sharpcontrast to the perspective of minority Muslims living in India, China, theUSSR, and some Western countries. In recent years, Muslim minorities havefound themselves at the confluence of diverse social forces and politicaldevelopments which have heightened their sense of communal identity andapprehension vish-vis non-Muslim majorities. This has been particularlytrue of the crisis besetting the Indian Muslims in 1990-91 as well as the newlyformed Muslim communities in Western Europe.The foregoing circumstances have highlighted the need for serious researchon Muslim minorities within a comparative framework. What follows is apreliminary outline of a research framework for a comparative study of Muslimminorities using the Indian Muslims as an illustrative case.The Salience of TraditionOne of the most significant transnational phenomena in the four decadessince mid-century has been the revival of communal consciousness amongminorities in a large number of countries throughout the world. This tendencytoward cultural regeneration has been noted among such diverse ethnic groupsas Afro-Americans, French Canadians, Palestinian Arabs, the Scots of GreatBritain, Soviet minorities, and native Americans. A common tendency amongthese groups is to reach back to their cultural traditions and to explore thoseroots which have served as the historical anchors of their present communalexistence.
