The article deals with the specifics of teaching Kazakh language to Russian-speaking technical students at Karaganda State Technical University, Kazakhstan, in the light of the nationwide trilingualism policies. The paper explains ineffectiveness of the traditional grammar-translation method used today in many educational institutions. It  has been hypothesized that Kazakh language teachers should use the  Communicative language teaching (CLT) methodology, which is rather popular in the West and widely used for teaching foreign languages, in particular English, with its adaptation for Kazakhstan’s conditions. The study  gives a model of a communication-based lesson and proves its effectiveness  in teaching Kazakh language to Russian-speaking students as well as  suggests the possibility of its widespread implementation for training adult population in Kazakhstan.

There are various teaching methods when teaching a foreign language, it is necessary to pay attention to new ways to stimulate the speech of students.  However, numerous classical schools still try to teach by the old methods and from the old books.  There will always be problems, and you will never speak the foreign language well.  By using new methods, it is easy to learn to speak English and improve at it.  You will be able to speak like a native speaker.

Pedagogic Conversational Agents are computer applications that can interact with students in natural language. They have been used with satisfactory results on the instruction of several domains. The authors believe that they could also be useful for the instruction of Secondary Physics and Chemistry Education. Therefore, in this paper, the authors present a procedure to create an agent for that domain. First, teachers have to introduce the exercises with their correct answers. Secondly, students will be presented the exercises, and if the students know the answer, and if it is correct, more difficult exercises will be presented. Otherwise, step-by-step natural language support will be provided to guide the student towards the solution. It is the authors’ hypothesis that this innovative teaching method will be satisfactory and useful for teachers and students, and that by following the procedure more computer programmers can be encouraged to develop agents for other domains to be used by teachers and students at class.

The traditional English teaching method has gradually been replaced by new teaching methods in English class. Situational Language Teaching Method is a way to activate the teaching of language knowledge through the design of authentic and concrete situation. A survey is carried out in Inner Mongolia University for Nationalites. It investigates the practical application of Situational Language Teaching Method among Mongolian English majors in this university. Through the analysis of the questionnaire results, the paper reveals the obstacles existing in the application of the method, namely: passive participation due to improper text parsing; weakening role of teachers; and ineffective transfer among language, image and meaning. At the same time, it puts forward appropriate strategies to solve the problems during the application of SLT to Mongolian English majors.
