The teenage phase is a fairly critical phase so that every teenager needs a suitable environment so that later they are able to achieve achievements in the family, school and community. Based on this, an environment that is designed in the family, school and community is needed so that each individual can develop according to his potential. Although basically schools are not the only institution that forges students but schools have a considerable impact on the formation of an individual. Therefore, researchers are interested in implementing STIFIn-based Information Services with the aim of optimizing the potential of students. The method used in this study is qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of class IX Rabbani Banjarbaru IT Middle School. The sample in this study were 1 teacher, 2 students, and 2 studaents. The implementation stages of STIFIn-based Information Services for grade IX students at Rabbani Banjarbaru IT Middle School start from the process of exploring the needs of students after the explanation service of the results of the STIFIn-Based Personality Test, to adjust the needs of students then the information service content provided is STIFIn-based Learning Information Services. The results showed that not all information content could be understood, because there was the use of foreign languages and scientific terms that were not familiar to students. In addition, the results and explanation of STIFI-based personality tests are not fully recognized by students, this is due to the environmental factors that influence students in carrying out their developmental tasks.

Introduction: Different interventions have been done to reduce the burden of soil-transmitted helminths (STH). The available evidences in Ethiopia in either school or community-based school-aged children (SAC) have limitation in wetland areas. This study assessed the prevalence and associated factors of STH infection among SAC in wetland and non-wetland areas of Blue Nile Basins, Amhara Region, Northwest Ethiopia. Method: A community-based comparative study was conducted from October to November, 2019. Multistage stratified random sampling technique used to select 716 SAC. Data were collected using structured questionnaire and observational checklist. Stool samples were collected from children using tight-fitting plastic cups following the standard procedures. Data were coded and entered into Epi data version 4.6 and exported to SPSS version 20 software. Bivariate and multivariable logistic regression analysis was employed to identify factors associated with STH. Results: The overall prevalence of STH was 30.30% (95% CI: 26.90, 33.90) and did not show significant variation between wetland (33.60% (95% CI: 28.80, 39.60%)) and non-wetland (27.0% (95% CI: (21.90, 31.60)) areas. Presence of human feces near the house and certain habits such as nail trimming and playing with mud/soil was not different between wetland and non-wetlands. Nonetheless, the presence of human feces near the house of respondents was found to be significantly associated with STH infection (p value < 0.001). Moreover, other factors significantly associated with STH infection were lack of nail trimming (p value < 0.001) and playing with mud/soil (p value < 0.01). Conclusions: The prevalence of STH was high and did not show significant variation between the two areas. Emphasis needs to be given for hygiene and lifestyle-related factors.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to comparatively study the library and information services provided by three academic libraries – Baku State University Scientific Library, ADA University Library and Information Services and Khazar University Library and Information Center – located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Various types of library services are examined in terms of funding, acquisition and technical equipment support issues. Also, different subordination conditions (public/private) of the universities help to better understand the current position of academic libraries in different entities. Design/methodology/approach Most part of the conveyed information was obtained through review of related literature, libraries’ annual reports and personal communication with the directors of the academic libraries, to look for similarities and differences in provided library and information services. The results of the study are comparatively described through multiple tables and charts. Findings For improving services it is necessary to develop paid forms of library and information services, maintain various training possibilities for library staff in modern librarianship areas, increase the variety and number of public and outreach activities. Research limitations/implications As the findings of the paper suggest new forms of library services and activities, it is necessary to continue the topic in further studies to develop practical methods and applications for local library conditions. Originality/value The paper can be accepted as the first comparative study of the library information services in academic libraries of Azerbaijan, which gives general overview and analysis of separate service ranges and types. The researchers interested in Azerbaijani librarianship may find it practical.
