Social network sites (SNSs) have brought revolutionary changes to individuals' social interactions. The growth of online personal relationships is crucial for understanding current interpersonal communications and network dynamics. In the context of a Chinese SNS, this study provides an empirical presentation of the growth patterns of individuals' online friendships. This study uncovers the regularity as well as the variability of such growth patterns. On the one hand, the friendship growth patterns show regularity in that the time trajectory of friendship growth for most users levels off at some point of their friendship formation. On the other hand, the growth patterns of online friendships also demonstrate variability. There are three essentially different growth patterns emerged: the logistic pattern (i.e., S-shape), the double-logistic pattern (i.e., double-S shape), and the power pattern (i.e., rotated-L shape). By employing multinomial logistic regression, this study further found that network connectedness lead to the differences in these growth patterns of online friendships. However, a user's personal strategy of online friendship formation is found to have a nil effect on explaining the differences in growth patterns of online friendships. This paper concludes by discussing the theoretical and practical implications of the growth patterns of online relationships.

The millennial generation has been known as the most anxious and depressed one, due to lack of more physical attachment. During these COVID-19 times, these problem had been widened for everyone - many had been panic about the illness, the media had played an awful hole on it, creating a scenario of huge risk for lives and jobs. We are facing a perfect storm, where we are not allowed to do most of the recreation and healthie programs - like visit the ones beloved, go to gym, go to a party. The use of internet have a lot of misinformation about the pandemic and even physicians, scientists and health politicians overload us with useless information. It was really hard to identify what was important. In this situation, dealing with uncertainty, anxiety and depression had created a huge problem for physicians and psychologists. How to help and support that. There are many strategies that we have used. First to diminish the search of information over COVID-19, selecting one trustable source. Second, contact your beloved ones, if possible with video call on an everyday basis. Third, develop a routine of physical activities in order to keep your body health. Fourth try to develop a health pattern of food. Together they can diminish the chance of having anxiety and depression. But if you need support for a professional, it’s important to have teams of professional available to give attention to that issues. The very first is a phone support or internet support, by teams that could discuss the problems and develop a personal strategy to deal with this situation. But when that is not enough, we must have a consultation with a physician or a psychologist. The approach must discuss fillings, worries and how to plan this isolation times. Most of us have a hidden agenda and fear that must be addressed and at this time it is important to allow the patients to talk about freely, and to develop empathy with their worries. After that we can promote some activities to diminish the fillings of anxiety and depression.

Guidelines for developing personal strategy are based on strategic concepts for business and a framework of well-being. The notion is that effective strategy has to balance a deliberate and specific plan with an evolving strategy of change as a result of new opportunities and threats. The set of personal objectives to be prioritized are a modified version of flourishing components in positive psychology. Alternative life styles are presented based on the objectives. The building blocks of the strategy are borrowed from the Balanced Score Card methodology. The paper emphasizes the importance of personal strengths in choosing initiatives for action. The approach to change is constructed by three variables of change readiness: trigger identification, preparation for action and mode of action.

We have identities and we can communicate online on the internet and in social networks. The question is how we can define and manage social roles/online representations on digital platforms and in social media? “Digital identity” is in the focus in this exploratory phase of our research the aim of which has been to map how identity refers to a driver in a digital setting with digital footprints, visibility or nonvisibility, professionalism and privacy in online publicity. Our empirical research has been trying to explore this phenomenon of the digital media for online personal strategy with segmentation. The first exploratory phase focused on the students’ segment prior to initial employment. We were wondering which points of decision were relevant in digital identity strategy for them and how they would replace their strategy consciously prior to employment. We had a qualitative research with semi-structured interviews. Our results show that digital identity phenomena define social roles/online strategies and representations on digital platforms and in social media. Members of the research segment have some strategies to manage their digital footprints. They would like to change their profile from “student” to that of a “professional” assuming less activity in digital context.

The information about the arrests and jail sentences of Prokofiev's close relatives has been promulgated some years ago, and it revealed many new things about the composer's biography and personality. That is, it became clear, that he was fully aware of mass repressions and harsh political censorship in the USSR at the time he was deciding to return to the motherland. The composer had to shape his own personal strategy to maneuver between artistic values and the circumstances demand. The letters presented in the article introduce in greater detail the composer's relatives. So, they shed light upon the life of the Katenins family during the Revolution first years; they bring into view one relative living in Germany-Maria Rein. One of the most vibrant items of Prokofiev's correspondence is the letter from his aunt, Ekaterina Grigorievna Raevsky, who reported about her daughter being arrested. Prokofiev's quiet correspondence is enriched by his notes from France to the Bolshoi Theater finance department and to the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet (St. Petersburg), reminding them to send money to his relatives in the USSR. For many years Prokofiev supported three families of relatives, who were purged or in need. The note published here is just one of many such reminders.
