This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial intelligence through the role of social media on the performance of SMEs in increasing sales. The type of research used is explanatory research with Accidental Sampling technique. The number of samples determined was 80 respondents. Data analysis in this study using SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that entrepreneurial intelligence consisting of elements of financial intelligence, emotional intelligence, social intelligence and spiritual intelligence had an effect on the performance of SMEs through the role of social media, social media had an effect on performance and sales and performance had an effect on sales.



The digital industry in Malaysia employs an estimated 355,000 employees and the average attrition rate was 17% in 2017. The Millennials or the Generation Y were born in between 1980 to 1993 that would formulate 75% of the labor force by 2025. However, Gen Y workforce are hard to maintain as they are primarily concerned on temporary job prospects and immediate outcomes. Gen Y employees contribute to greater level of turnover rate and retaining them is a significant challenge for the organizations. This paper presents a review of the intention to stay by Gen Y employees in Malaysia. This study will answer three questions. Firstly, this study will examine the concept of emotional intelligence used to retain Gen Y employees. The next question is to what extend does spiritual intelligence influence Gen Y intention to stay. The last question is whether perceived organizational support (POS) mediates the relationship between the constructs. The study aims to accentuate the key role of emotional and spiritual intelligence towards retaining Gen Y employees. A literature review on relationships between emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and intention to stay was examined. The examination concluded that higher level of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence are positive predictors of intention to stay. This study revealed that POS has both direct and indirect relationships between several organizational outcomes. There is a rareness of studies in the background of the role of emotional and spiritual intelligence and perceived organizational support of Gen Y employees. With the anticipated increase of Gen Y employees, this study will establish a better understanding and knowledge about Gen Y and offer them accurate tools to cooperate and manifest the accurate solutions. The findings are expected to present new insights in the manner of how Gen Y employees’ emotional and spiritual intelligence can contribute towards their intention to stay longer

UNESCO has identified various tensions and crisis of modern society and suggested 4 pillars to be constructed for strengthening the education system. These pillars are: “Learning to Know, Learning to Do, Learning to live together and Learning to be.”The importance of education has been realized by everyone and by every nation. It is quite evident that the strength of the country depends on the strength of education, which in turn depends on the strength efficiency of teachers and the process of teaching. According to Tagore, “The widest road leading to the solution of all our problems is education.” Intelligence is one of the main characteristics that results in individual differences among peoples. This has been attended by humans from many years ago (Bakhtiarpor, 2009). Although study about intelligence has focused on its cognitive aspects such as memory, problem-solving, emotional, social, and spiritual ability have been attended by authors. The role of intelligence tests in predicting academic performance that the effective psychosocial and mental sources has an important role in predicting academic achievement especially in the higher academic levels (Furnham, Chamorro, and Premuzic, 2004).

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance and the role of communication competence in mediating the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. The samples are selected from employees (n = 196) of Islamic Microfinance Institutions in Pati, Central Java, Indonesia. The results of path analysis reveal that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a positive and significant influence on communication competence and employee performance, and communication competence partially mediates the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. Therefore, it is recommended that Islamic Microfinance practitioners should improve employee performance through emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and communication competence.

Continuous learning works like a blood for organization and individuals to proceed and succeed. Underdeveloped countries need to address their academic issues. Academic prosperity is linked to economy and technology disruptions so it’s an important element to bring underdeveloped countries up to the mark to thrive and survive in this technical era. Academic prosperity depends upon student's enthusiastic attitude and their emotional and spiritual intelligences. This study was conducted in learning organizations to see the impact of emotional and spiritual intelligences on academic performance. Population of the study is the academic institutes of Pakistan. Data were collected using cross-sectional questionnaire-based survey from 113 students in Pakistan. The findings provide positive and significant correlations among the types of intelligences and academic performance. Data was analyzed using SPSS and the results were verified using statistical methods like correlation, regression, ANNOVA, Cronbach alpha and means. This study highlights the role of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on academic performance and found out that it has the most demanding and significant effect on the academic performance, therefore it needs better integration in academic practices, routine and culture.
