Nowadays, Thailand is stepping into an aging society. This research purposes developing the intelligence walking stick for the elderly in terms of the health care system by applied the IoT devices and biometric sensors in a real-time system. The heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature were measured at the finger of the elderly that holding the intelligence walking stick. All data can monitor and display on mobile devices. The intelligence walking stick system was evaluated by twenty users who are five experts and fifteen elderly in Ratchaburi province. As a result of the mean value at 4.88 and 4.85 by experts and elderly, respectively. It could be said that the development of intelligence walking stick by using IoT can help and improve the daily living of the elderly at the highest level.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify a common theme linking the articles in this issue of IJHG. The review editor elucidates on this topic while presenting key findings from the articles which comprise the current issue. Design/methodology/approach The design is a general review describing the articles under review while expanding on the subject matter through reference to other authors. Social implications The Review provides readers with a brief overview of the current articles enabling them to select the ones which reflect their needs or interests. Originality/value IJHG is the only Emerald journal providing a Review section of this type.

IN RECOGNITION OF the importance and the complexity of governance within the Australian health care sector, the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association has established a regular governance section in Australian Health Review. The aim of this new section is to provide relevant and up-to-date information on governance to assist those working at senior leadership and management levels in the industry. We plan to include perspectives on governance of interest to government Ministers and senior executives, chief executives, members of boards and advisory bodies, senior managers and senior clinicians. This section is produced with the assistance of Ebsworth & Ebsworth lawyers, who are pleased to team with the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association in this important area. We expect that further articles in this section will cover topics such as: � Principles of good corporate governance � Corporate governance structures in the public health sector in Australia � Legal responsibilities of public health managers � Governance and occupational health and safety � Financial governance and probity. We would be pleased to hear your suggestions for future governance topics.

Objetivo: Compreender a atenção à saúde do idoso nas redes assistenciais de um município da Zona Norte do Ceará por meio do Sistema de Referência e Contra-referência, considerando o princípio da integralidade no SUS. Métodos: Avaliação construtivista, responsiva, com abordagem hermenêutica-dialética, denominada Avaliação de Quarta Geração, realizada com 10 enfermeiros que atuam na gestão de serviços de atenção à saúde de um município da Zona Norte do Ceará, entre os meses de março e maio de 2011. Resultados: Os discursos dos enfermeiros permitiram informações que retratam as fragilidades e deficiências do sistema de referência e contra-referência nos níveis locais de saúde, com o desenvolvimento de práticas assistenciais fragmentadas e desconexas. Conclusão: Torna-se necessário repensar a prática que perpassa as redes assistenciais de saúde, uma vez que o ser idoso carece de ações mais efetivas sobre a sua saúde.

Community empowerment activities will be success if it is supported by the ability to build network. An ability to builda network is needed to get the support, that can be done during the interaction in work, such as building a goodnetworking stage. This study aims to describe elderly community health care (ECHC) (posyandu lansia) networkingwith Rukun Warga (RW) in working area of Melur Pekanbaru Health Center. The study was qualitative descriptive,this study involving six main informants, three ECHC cadres and three RT heads and seven key informants, threeheads of ECHC, three heads of RW and one head Puskesmas. Data were collected by in-depth interviews recorded witha voice recorder.The result showed the ECHC Network with RW can help to optimize the implementation of activitiesto support community empowerment as seen from elderly posyandu networking role with RW.

Elderly health care coverage in Public Health Jalan Gedang as much (81.92%)and the number of elderly as many as 686 people. Visit the elderly who come to posyanduranges from 41-53 people per month in 2016. The health center has two IHC GedangWay consists of IHC Elderly Elderly Serayu Mandiri and Posyandu Elderly Peace. IHChas five cadres and participants 44 people. Elderly Posyandu cadre of Peace has fivepeople, participants lansianya 50 people. IHC Elderly Peace has many achievements thanPosyandu Elderly Serayu Mandiri The study design used in this research is descriptivequalitative method. Informants in this study as many as 10 cadres and 1 officer in chargePosyandu program. The study design used in this research is descriptive qualitativemethod. Knowledge Posyandu Elderly Peace found that IHC Elderly for seniors 60 yearsand older age range and Posyandu Elderly Serayu Mandiri that Posyandu Elderly agerange of 40 years and above. Attitude Posyandu Elderly Peace mostly elderly support andintegrated support Serayu Mandiri attitude. Kader Posyandu Elderly Peace and PosyanduElderly Serayu Mandiri mostly not expect incentives. Kader Posyandu Elderly Peacemostly mentioned five systems the table properly and Posyandu Elderly Serayu Mandirino mention of five tables with the right system. Expected to conduct refresher training orvolunteers to knowledge about Posyandu cadres better, could improve the role in theservice of Posyandu.
