Competitions faced by companies are some obstacles in achieving the business objectives to maintain the company's growth and survival. The use of information technology trend requires companies to use it in order to compete with competitors. Strategic planning of information system (IS) and information technology (IT) which refer to business strategy should be customized to the company's business processes. The process of finding a future application portfolio is preceded by the discovery of business strategy, IS/IT strategy managemen and IT strategy. The method used is the strategic planning of information system and information technology of Ward and Peppard. The discovery of business strategy through internal and external analysis of the company is done using tools: PEST, SWOT, Porter's five competitive model, Value chain, and CSF. The analysis of the current information systems helps determine the proposed IS and IT plan. The result achieved is strategic system plan and information technology that are appropriate to the company in achieving its business goals.

M Group is a company engaged in the field of pharmacy, eye health and food. Along with the rapid growth of the company there are problems of how to make use the Information Technology department as optimal as possible and how to build a  blue print of it strategy in handling a variety of issues and programs or initiatives to support the company's business strategy? This study aims to produce a strategic plan for information technology M Group. The research method used is John Ward and Joe Peppard’s framework for strategic planning of information technology and Scott A. Bernard’s Enterprise Architecture documentation. This study uses SWOT analysis, IT Balance Scorecard and Cost Benefit Analysis as a strategic tool to analyze the needs of Information System on M Group. After conducting the analysis then the  Information System(IS) strategic planning is propose for M Group for next years (2020), which includes business strategies IS, IS / IT Management Strategy, Information System(IS) strategy and future application portfolio. The result of analysis and proposed strategies on M Group documented using the Enterprise Architecture Documentation.

Nowadays, business activity in every organization will not be parted from information system (IS) and information technology (IT). STMIK XYZ is one private college that has a good business growth. In order to reach the objective of the college in its vision and mission, it needs business strategy and IS/IT strategy. The basic concept in arranging framework IS/IT strategic planning in STMIK XYZ is John Ward and Joe Peppard’s concept. The framework of IS/IT strategic planning consists of 5 steps, that are initialization preparation strategic planning of IS/IT, understanding business and information needs, defining target of IS/IT, defining strategic IS/IT, and planning and implementation. Strategic analysis uses PEST analysis method, BCG matrix analysis, five Porter power analysis, SWOT analysis, value chain analysis, CSF and KPI analysis. The research result is to make a framework of IS/IT integrated strategic planning so it could ease the management to manage resources to produce information that needed, accurate, and could be used by anybody.Keywords: planning, business strategy, IS/IT strategy, information system strategic planning, Ward & Peppard method.

As an old educational institution, SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang is growing rapidly, however it has not implemented Information Systems and Information Technology optimally in its business processes and does not yet have an Information Systems strategic planning portfolio. This is deemed necessary in making a strategic information system, in order to provide superiority in business competition. Information system strategic planning is one of the keys in implementing information systems and information technology in business activities. Strategic planning in this study uses themethod Ward and Peppard to compile an information system strategic plan at SMK Ma'aif NU 1 Ajibarang and AHP to determine the application roadmap. The results of this analysis define the information system strategic planning company in the form of an information system business strategy, information system management strategy and information technology, information system strategy, information system recommendations, future applications and implementation plans.

Business competition in this fast-paced information age has become very tight. especially in the field of education. Thus the organization must have a business strategy that is very mature in order to face the competition. The application of information systems and technology has become one of the most influential business strategies for staying in competition. Bina Nusantara Vocational School has implemented an information system and technology, but apparently it has not run optimally because some parts have not yet implemented an information system. In this study discusses how to plan an IS / IT strategy using ward and peppard methods with supporting analyzes such as Value Chain Porter's, SWOT, and McFarlan's Strategic Grid. Which produces a portfolio of IS / IT that is aligned with the vision and mission and roadmaps of its implementation to support the business processes that are run and make the Bina Nusantara Vocational School excel in education.

Meningkatnya jumlah perguruan tinggi mengakibatkan semakin tingginya persaingan. STMIK Cahaya Surya Kediri adalah sebuah institusi pendidikan tinggi yang memiliki satu program pendidikan S1 Sistem Informasi. Dalam industri usaha jasa, sistem informasi merupakan alat yang dapat membantu memenangkan persaingan. Perencanaan strategis sistem informasi menjadi salah satu kunci sebelum menerapkan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi pada perusahaan. Perencanaan strategis yang tepat dapat mendukung rencana dan pengembangan bisnis perusahaan. STMIK Cahaya Surya Kediri belum memiliki perencanaan strategis sistem informasi. Bentuk perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang akan dibahas dalam kajian ini menggunakan metodologi Ward and peppard dengan alat bantu metode analisis Value Chain untuk analisa lingkungan bisnis internal, Five Forces Model untuk analisa lingkungan bisnis eksternal, dan McFarlan Strategic Grid untuk analisa kondisi SI/TI internal saat ini. Hasil dari analisis ini mendefinisikan perencanaan strategis sistem informasi berupa strategi bisnis sistem informasi, strategi manajemen sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi, strategi sistem informasi, gap analisis sistem informasi, dan rencana implementasi.The increasing the number of college resulting in the higher competition. STMIK Cahaya Surya Kediri is an institution of higher education that have an educational program S1 Information System. In the business services industry, information system is a tool that can help win the competition. Strategic planning of information systems to be one of the key before implementing information systems and information technology in the enterprise. Proper strategic planning to support the company's plans and business development. STMIK Cahaya Surya Kediri not have a strategic planning information system. Form of strategic planning of information systems that will be discussed in this study using a methodology Ward and Peppard with aids Value Chain analysis method for internal business environment analysis, Five Forces Model for the analysis of the external business environment, and McFarlan Strategic Grid to analyze the condition of the IS/IT internal current. The results of this analysis defines the strategic planning of information systems in the form of business strategy information systems, information systems and information technology management strategy, information systems strategy, information systems gap analysis, and implementation plan.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the company's business processes and make strategic planning and information technology system that is suitable for supporting the goals and vision of the company's mission. The research method is data collection in the form of interviews with the company management and staff, field observations, literature research related to strategic planning and information technology systems. The results of this study prove that the company has a weakness in the implementation of information systems which is not maximized , while the strength of the company has not been fully supported by the use of information technology . This shows that the need for strategic planning and information technology systems to support achievement of business strategy at the company over the next five years. Thus, this research produced a strategic plan in the form of application architecture, hardware architecture, network architecture, organizational development, implementation schedule and cost estimates.

LAZISMU as an amil zakat institution has an important role in collecting and managing zakat for public welfare. The existence of Law No. 23 of 2011 and the Minister of Religion Regulation No. 333 of 2015 on Guidelines for Granting Permits for the Establishment of Zakat Institutions requires that the management of zakat, infaq, and sadaq (ZIS) funds be transparent, accountable and prioritize professional principles. For this reason, there needs to be support from information systems and information technology to achieve these business goals. Information systems and technology will be utilized optimally if the development is aligned with the business objectives of the organization. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a bridge to harmonize the business needs of an organization with Information Systems and Information Technology. Enterprise architecture planning at the LAZ has been designed using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) with Architecture Development Method (ADM). Data collection is done by interviewing and making direct observations of the organization. Analysis tools used are the Unified Modelling Language (UML) method and the Value Chain method. The results of this study are blue print business architecture, data architecture, application architecture so that it can support the business processes that exist in LAZISMU.

Automotive sales industries and businesses are businesses that have a great contribution to economic growth in the country.  Competition in the automotive sales business is also getting higher so it requires the need for the right business strategy to survive and grow. Most of these automotive businesses have utilized Information Technology (IT) to support their operations. However, the capability in planning, managing and implementing Information Systems and Information Technology (SI/IT) that is linked to the company's business strategy has not been fully implemented. Therefore, Strategic Planning of Information Systems is currently one of the keys in achieving the company's goals that must be aligned with the business strategy set by the company. The role of SI/IT should not only be an operational automation tool but more than that as an organizational key enabler.  The study was conducted for modeling SI/IT strategy plan based on Hyundai's business strategy using Ward & Peppard methodology, analysis with SWOT, Value Chain, Five Force which then mapped into Critical Succes Factor to obtain possible SI/IT strategies.   Keywords: Strategic Planning, Balanced Scorecard, Automotive Industry   Abstrak   Industri dan bisnis penjualan otomotif merupakan bisnis yang memiliki kontribusi besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negeri ini.  Persaingan pada bisnis penjualan otomotif juga makin tinggi sehingga membutuhkan kebutuhan strategi bisnis yang tepat untuk bertahan dan tumbuh berkembang. Sebagian besar bisnis otomotif ini telah memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi (TI) untuk menunjang operasionalnya. Namun kemampuan dalam perencanaan, pengelolaan serta implementasi Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi (SI/TI) yang dihubungkan dengan strategi bisnis perusahaan masih belum diterapkan sepenuhnya. Untuk itu Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi saat ini merupakan salah satu kunci dalam pencapaian sasaran perusahaan yang harus diselaraskan dengan strategi bisnis yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Peranan SI/TI yang ada sebaiknya tidak hanya sebagai alat otomasi operasional namun lebih dari itu sebagai key enabler organisasi.  Kajian yang dilakukan untuk pemodelan rencana strategi SI/TI berdasar strategi bisnis Hyundai dengan menggunakan metodologi Ward & Peppard, analisis dengan SWOT, Value Chain, Five Force yang kemudian dipetakan ke dalam Critical Succes Factor untuk mendapatkan strategi-strategi SI/TI yang memungkinkan. The Timor Tengah Selatan Regency Tourism Office is one of the regional apparatus organizations that has the authority to implement the regional government's authority in the tourism sector. Information Technology Systems are factors that affect the sustainability of organization's activities. The Timor Tengah Selatan Regency Tourism Office still encounters obstacles in the application of information systems that do not support the entire business process and the lack of IS implementation makes performance inefficient. One of the contributing factors is that there are not enough human resources who have the skills in managing information systems and information technology properly. The purpose of this research is to develop a strategic planning of information systems in accordance with the needs of the organization. In the preparation of information systems strategic planning research using the Ward and Peppard approach with various analyzes such as SWOT analysis, Value Chain, and Mc. Farlan Strategic Grid. Based on the results of this study resulted in several recommendations to be carried out including the creation of Contract Making Administration System, and Mobile Tourism Information System and the development of Regency Tourism Website Timor Tengah Selatan regency, SIPD (Local Government Information System), and SIMDA (Regional Management Information System) GOODS.

Virgina Aesthetic Company (Farina Beauty Clinic) is an organization or company engaged in the field of face and body skin care services. To be able to get a competitive advantage and be able to survive in tight competition, the strategy that can be done by a beauty clinic is differentiation and cost reduction. One of the things that can be done for cost-reduction is to make the business processes in the Beauty Clinic more efficient, one of the things that can be used for efficiency is Information Systems (IS) / Information Technology (IT). This research is an effort to build an information system strategic planning and application portfolio in the Virgina Aesthetic Company (Farina Beauty Clinic) that can provide optimal, well integrated and innovative contributions that can unite all supporting aspects in achieving clinical business strategies to increase its competitive value especially in health services.In preparing the information system strategic planning framework using the Ward and Peppard Model approach and in evaluating the elaboration of information systems strategic planning and business strategies using IT Balance Scorecard. Several analytical methods such as Value Chain Analysis, SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis and Five Force Model Analysis are used to analyze internal and external business environments. Strategic Grid McFarlan Analysis is used to map the application portfolio. In the end this research resulted in a recommendation for the organization in the form of development priorities which were divided into two related matters, the establishment of an IS / IT unit and the development of an application portfolio that would support the sustainability of Virgina Aesthetics Company (Farina Beauty Clinic) Karawang.
