In fact, Information Communication and Technology (ICT) have been utilized in schools even though relatively small in numbers. At present, there is a program for Elementary Teacher Education called PGSD program in Indonesia. The PGSD program is an in-service teacher training program especially for elementary school teachers in Indonesia, to improve their qualifications from Diploma-2 to Strata-1 level, conducted through ICT-based distance learning mode. This study uses survey method to examine the accessibility of ICT infrastructure and networks, and the effectiveness of using ICT for teaching and learning in six university member of PGSD program in Indonesia. The results of the study show that the PGSD program needs to improve the ICT infrastructure and networks as well as apply ICT based teaching and learning skills.

Abstract: The emergence of the industrial revolution 4.0 has led to the development of information, communication and technology (ICT) which predicts that 50 billion electronic devices interact with each other. Therefore, this study aims to look at the effectiveness of ICT use among students in the state of Terengganu in conjunction with the advent of the industrial revolution 4.0. This article is a quantitative study using the survey method. The questionnaire is used to collect the required data and information. A total of 102 regular daily SMK students in Terengganu was involved in this study. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 21 using descriptive and inferential analysis methods. The findings of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in the level of understanding of IR 4.0 based on gender and school location factors. The study also found that there was no significant difference in the use of ICT as a medium of learning based on school location. However, there is a significant correlation between the understanding of IR 4.0 on the use of ICT in learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that students in Terengganu state ICT as a means of gaining and sharing knowledge as well as the medium of learning today. The results of this study are expected to provide important information to the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) in enhancing the integration of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) in the teaching and learning process (PdPc) in schools. Keywords: Industrial Revolution 4.0, Learning, Information Communication and Technology (ICT), Student Abstrak: Kemunculan revolusi perindustrian 4.0 telah membawa perkembangan dalam Information Communication and Technology (ICT) yang meramalkan sebanyak 50 bilion peranti elektronik saling berinteraksi. Integrating Information Communication and Technology (ICT) into English as Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms is believed to enhance teaching and learning. This study promotes the use of online language laboratory into Indonesian EFL listening classroom. Using a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative principles, this study examined 23 Indonesian learners of English at the State University of Gorontalo, Indonesia to see whether the use of online language laboratory can significantly increase the students’ listening skills. In this experimental study, the participants’ condition and achievement in the pre- and post test were compared. The result showed that there is a significant difference between listening score on the modified TOEIC-like test. The findings suggest that , it is beneficial for teachers of English to be aware of the effectiveness, flexibility, richness, and the other advantages of using online language laboratory in EFL especially listening classroom.

Abstract: The general objective of this study was to find a kind of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) study instruments, and the specific purposes of this study were to investigate the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of it. This was a Research & Development study which was simplified into two stages; they are the preliminary stage and the development stage. This study resulted several kinds of instruments: lesson plan, worksheets, material lesson, teaching evaluation sheets, observation sheets, and questionares. The validity was very good with score 84,38 % for content aspect, 82,50 % for language aspect, and 82,14 % for display aspect. The instruments were very effective to be used by elementary teacher education students and lecturers in the simple machines material to describe the STEM profile’s teacher education students. The instruments could practically be used by the elementary teacher education students and lecturers for the simple machines material based on the positive elementary teacher education students and lecturers responses. Students' science ability increased 27.20%, technology ability increased 23.36%, engineering ability increased 55.20%, and mathematics ability increased 81.80%. The effectiveness of learned was shown by the success of the lecturer in designed learning. The learning design got score of 100 from both expert. The developed learning device is practically used by students and lecturers for simple machines material based on positive responses of students and lecturer. The practicality of learning tools based STEM is shown from the implementation of learning. The percentage of student activities during STEM learning was 75.79%, it showed that student activities during learning including the good category and the teaching ability of lecturers got average score 97,73.

The aim of this paper is to introduce to the education community to a newly developed 'Learner Centred Learning-By-Designing Extended Cyberhunts' (LCLBDEC) strategy for teaching and learning in schools. The main focus of the strategy is to enable learners to become designers of an educational tool which assists them to learn during the design process, and also can be used by other learners or students to get a better understanding of a topic. It is suggested that the strategy assists learners to clarify misconceptions that they might have and that it allows them to address aspects in the curriculum when there is not enough time to do so in class. During the initial stages of the strategy, learners are exposed to teacher designed Cyberhunts, a strategy that can be used to introduce learning by design to novices. As the learners become more computer literate, they become the designers instead of the teacher. Learners search for information online on a topic or theme and then are not only required to create questions on as many different cognitive levels as possible, but also to compose a complementing memorandum. The strategy is not meant to be in competition with WebQuests and other similar approaches, but should be seen as an additional information communication and technology (ICT) strategy to complement those that already exist.
