This article presents a domestic and foreign experience of "smart specialization" in agriculture in the digital economy. The method of calculating the indicators of digital maturity of the agro-industrial complex is considered. The forecast of indicators value of the agro-industrial digital maturity is presented until 2030. The article proposes a mechanism for adapting the smart specialization in agriculture. We consider it appropriate to introduce an online digital platform in agriculture, which allows creating conditions for interaction between sellers and buyers of regional agricultural machinery and related products. Based on the presented mechanism of adaptation of "smart specialization "in the field of agro-industrial complex, it should be noted that" smart specialization" is aimed at using the links that arise between the regions of economic activity. The priority areas of activity of the agro-industrial complex are presented.JEL Classification: L52, Q16, R11How to Cite:Kulik, A. M., Lavrinenko, E. A., Lyshchikova, J. V., & Strybkova, E. A. The article considers the most promising directions of innovative development of intersectoral complexes that best meet the conditions of digitalization of the economy. The economic feasibility of the development of intersectoral complexes in the conditions of an innovative economy is proved. The advantages of intersectoral complexes in comparison with other integrative units are highlighted. It is established that the Russian economy is dynamically developing forest, agro-industrial, chemical and a number of other complexes. It is proved that to ensure the progressive dynamics of their further development, it is necessary to take into account modern trends in the digitalization of the economy. A strategic vector for the development of intersectoral complexes in the conditions of an innovative economy is defined, which is based on the orientation to the widest possible introduction of advanced digital technologies. The effectiveness and prospects of using a wide range of digital technologies for the development of the agro-industrial complex have been proved. It is proposed to create and use a digital platform for the agro-industrial complex, aimed at concentrating the resources necessary for the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, as well as systematizing and harmonizing the activities of stakeholders in this direction. The main goal of creating a digital platform for the agro-industrial complex is to significantly increase production efficiency through large-scale implementation of digital technologies. The tasks are: formation of a theoretical base and methodological recommendations for the maximum possible implementation of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex; formation of financial, organizational and infrastructure prerequisites for digitalization of the agro-industrial complex; creation of information resources for effective interaction of all interested parties; provision of consulting services. The implementation of this project will significantly improve the efficiency of economic activities in the agro-industrial complex of the country. It is proved that the introduction of digital technologies in the activities of the agro-industrial complex can significantly increase its efficiency and serve as the basis for increasing competitiveness.

PurposeIn the current digital era where online content is riddled with fabricated metrics and rankings, this research aims to investigate the underpinning mechanisms of the calculative practices which actors engage with to evaluate digital platform content in the absence of well-defined performance measures.Design/methodology/approachThe paper focuses on the online, photo-sharing platform Instagram which is devoid of common performance measures such as rankings, ratings and reviews. The authors applied netnographic methods to capture users' actions and interactions at the Greek Instagram community. The authors adopt a practice lens as informed by Schatzki's ‘site ontology’ to capture actors' calculative practices as organised by rules, teleoaffective structures and general and practical understandings.FindingsPlatform actors engage in aesthetic and palpable evaluations of other user profiles and their posted content. They employ permissible (e.g., using third-party apps) and illicit (e.g., lobbying and procuring engagement) tactics to measure and manage digital platform performance, fabricate metrics and blur others' evaluations, in pursuit of prestige and material teleologies. Their calculative practices are conditioned by an implicit social etiquette, which permeates the platform both horizontally and vertically.Originality/valueFirst, the paper captures and theorises the mechanisms which underpin actors' calculative practices for performance measurement in the absence of robust judgement devices. Second, it demonstrates how ambiguous assemblages of material and prestige teleologies, aesthetic and palpable evaluative regimes and implicit rules and practical expertise collectively invoke platform actors' calculative practices and the construction of performance measures. In doing so, it contributes to performance measurement literature via demonstrating how management accounting is implicated in the evaluation of digital platform outputs.Practical implicationsThe paper provides insight on how platform actors fabricate performance metrics, what they perceive as ‘good’ online content and what constitutes an ‘impactful’ user account or a ‘successful’ social media campaign. Such findings are valuable to management accountants, entrepreneurs and practitioners who seek to evaluate digital platform performance.

For almost 100 years that have passed from GOELRO to the ECO-1VK project (Electro-Robotic organic plants of the 1st modification of Valentin Krausp), new theoretical positions are developed, practical solutions made under the guidance of the founders of scientific schools, including the author of this article, are found and patented, and subsequent scientific and technical, technological and complex interdisciplinary solutions for electrification, automation and electrobotization of agricultural conveyor machine technologies are shown. (Research purpose). The research purpose is in analyzing the time stages of development and implementation of industrial technologies in agricultural production. (Materials and methods). The research materials are historical documents, archives, and scientific works of famous scientists who laid the foundations for the development of electrification, automation, and robotics in the agro-industrial complex. (Results and discussion). Author analyzed the stages of development and implementation of electrification, automation and robotization of agricultural production. The article describes each stage, notes their advantages and features. The article presents the final stage of creating conveyor technologies for food production in the full "field-shop" cycle, in which the main role is played by electric robotics and intellectualization of production and processing of organic waste into fertilizer. (Conclusions) The article highlights the history of the development of agricultural science and the author's youth scientific school. International cooperation through CMEA has allowed us to reach the international level in the automation of dairy farming. It also allowed the developing of mathematical optimizations of technologies for dairy farms and fattening of young farm animals. Research has been conducted and have been developed integrated automation systems with automated control systems for farms in dairy farming. The author's developed model design of ECO-1VK modular plant of 1st modification, which comprehensively solved all the problems: social by creating agricultural cities that provides youth in urban life; brought a new generation of youth: cyber-zoo-technologists, veterinarians, engineers, managers. The ecological cleanliness of feed production fields is ensured; animals are kept in natural conditions without the use of antibiotics; milk and meat are processed into organic food.
