The objectives of this research were 1) to develop an active blended learning management plan in Music subject based on the hybrid learning framework to be effective according to 80/80 criteria, 2) to compare the students' academic achievement between pretest and posttest periods, and   3) to study the satisfaction of students towards the active blended learning management in music subject based on the hybrid learning framework. The target group of this research was the 14 primary 4 students of Ban Nong Du School. Thawat Buri District, Roi Et Province in semester 1, academic year 2021, which was selected from purposive sampling. The research instruments were: 1) the index of conformity (IOC) of the music learning management plan according to the hybrid learning framework was 0.87. This showed that experts are of the opinion that an effective learning management plan can be implemented.   2) The achievement test was a 30-item, four-choice test. The test had a difficulty and power value classified between 0.41-0.60, which was appropriate and could be tested.   3) A questionnaire on the satisfaction of students towards active blended learning management in music subject based on the hybrid learning framework consisted of 15 items.

This paper describes the application of the Learning Management System and Blended Learning in the learning process of Christianity. The application of this learning system as an alternative to the Free Learning model during the adaptation period for New Normal in grade 4 Semester 1 students of SDN 8 Selat Hilir for the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that the application of the learning system used by Christian Religious Education teachers proved successful in improving student learning outcomes. This can be explained that in the pre-cycle the average score of student learning scores was 56.25 with 1 in 4 students completing. Furthermore, it increased in the first cycle, namely 68.75 with 2 students completing. Then in cycle II it increased again, namely 85.94 with 3 students who completed out of 4 students in class 4 Semester 1 in the 2020/2021 academic year at SDN 8 Selat Hilir. Likewise, the percentage of completeness increased from Pre-cycle 25%, increased in cycle I by 50%, and increased again to 70% in cycle II.

Currently, teaching in higher education is being heavily developed by learning management systems that record the learning behaviour of both students and teachers. The use of learning management systems that include project-based learning and hypermedia resources increases safer learning, and it is proven to be effective in degrees such as nursing. In this study, we worked with 120 students in the third year of nursing degree. Two types of blended learning were applied (more interaction in learning management systems with hypermedia resources vs. none). Supervised learning techniques were applied: linear regression and k-means clustering. The results indicated that the type of blended learning in use predicted 40.4% of student learning outcomes. It also predicted 71.9% of the effective learning behaviors of students in learning management systems. It therefore appears that blended learning applied in Learning Management System (LMS) with hypermedia resources favors greater achievement of effective learning. Likewise, with this type of Blended Learning (BL) a larger number of students were found to belong to the intermediate cluster, suggesting that this environment strengthens better results in a larger number of students. BL with hypermedia resources and project-based learning increase students´ learning outcomes and interaction in learning management systems. Future research will be aimed at verifying these results in other nursing degree courses.

This conference focuses on employing educational technology for connections. It assumes that these connections will be active, and not latent – otherwise these will be meaningless and ineffective. The emphasis is thus on creating effective learning environments. Such learning environments are not just online or digital, but can also be physical learning spaces in which educational technology can play a key role.A key strategy to ensure that educational technology connections are indeed active is to employ educational technology within an active learning framework for both online and on-campus learning i.e. blended learning. Educational technology on its own does not lead to active learning – only when it is used within well-founded learning designs – of which constructive alignment is highlighted below. I am thus agreeing with Veletsianos and Moe (2017) that educational technology by itself is not “education’s silver bullet” but should be located within “the essentials of teaching and learning: theory, pedagogy and emergent trends in the research.” Such active learning will lead to learner engagement, leading to effective learning and learner success. The vision for instance for educational technologies at Charles Sturt University is to “support educational practices focussed on student success by providing cutting edge, stable learning environments”.

The academic year 2020/2021 in higher education institutions in Ukraine began under the conditions of deteriorating epidemiological situation caused by the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Students’ training was recommended to be carried out in the form of distance learning or blended learning. This research aims to analyse Master students’ perceptions of blended learning in the process of studying English in higher education institutions. The study presents the integrated course “Foreign Language for Specific Purposes (English)” developed for Master students of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The experiment involves 84 respondents. The empirical basis of the study is the results obtained during three-months’ work with master students. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods are used to conduct the study. The study investigates benefits and challenges of blended learning in studying English by Master students. The results of the questionnaire indicate the quality of teaching the course “Foreign Language for Specific Purposes (English)” as moderately positive and point out blended learning as an essential streamlined approach for creating effective learning experiences. The obtained results confirm the favourable Master students’ perceptions of blended learning in studying English during Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the findings of the study, which indicate benefits and challenges of blended learning in studying English, the authors give recommendations to improve the course “Foreign Language for Specific Purposes (English)”.
