Trees are an essential part of every community in an urban area. The trees' canopies and crowns provide comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. This paper presents the simulations of tree shades, which is proven to enhance the microclimate of an urban park. The results showed that the tree shades sustained the microclimate of the park; lower the air temperature control the thermal comfort and maintained the wind flow. The implications of the outcomes show significant modifications in the human comfort sensation concerning the restoration of urban setting with tree shades.Keywords: Trees; Canopies; Thermal Comfort; Urban ParkeISSN 2398-4295 © 2018. Rapid and unpredicted rate of urbanization have negatively impacted the lowland tropical forests. Introduced species and destruction are activities that bring harm to the sensitive yet precious wildlife and cause them habitats loss; bird family. This research aims to review the role of ornamental plant in providing food and shelter for urban birds in urban park. The research is conducted by the reviewing of literature and questionnaire survey analysis. It hoped that the review will contribute to the knowledge of landscape architecture on consideration as opportunity for birds in urban parks. The city of Cairo - since the beginning of the third millennium - has witnessed a constructional expansion of new cities for people of class A to live within gated communities, which provide luxury and safety. This research aims to identify the tangible and intangible needs from the occupants’ and the interior designer’s perspective, due to the diversity of these needs. This paper aimed to complete a rigorous, systematic exploration of the literature investigating the effects of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. We identified 13 papers that report empirical evidence on the effect of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. The findings conclude that the studies in financial well-being are focusing on four groups of respondents namely college student, young employees, singles mothers and Muslim individual and the eleven types of psychological variables are identified. This assemblage of reviewed research papers will be useful for the academia and government to cultivate understanding on the psychological rumblings of an individual and leading to greater financial well-being, hence uplifting the quality of life of affected parties.Keywords: Financial well-being; Financial behaviour; Psychological Factors;eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. The present research uses toy packaging as an exploratory case study to test the research design. The case study is so selected since it involves merchandizes in conflict between the needs of children and the trust of guardians. It also engages the role of playing as a learning process promoting children’s imaginary and creativity thinking. Visual stimuli along with self-report questionnaires are used to test the perceptual response of both children and guardians on the aspects of attractiveness, safety, value and taste. Evidences suggested outdoor activities in newly developed communities in China have become less active than older ones. Improving outdoor activities by physical environment is the major concern of this research. This paper used a basic social-ecological model to explain the mechanism of outdoor activities in China. An intensive survey was carried out to examine how environmental factors affect outdoor activities. 7668 users’ activity data were obtained by observation, and the activities observed were categorized into three groups concerning environment involvement. House frontage is an essential aspect of terraced house design to ensure the occupant's comfort and healthy living. Four samples selected to evaluate the influence of the window to wall ratio (WWR) towards the internal thermal comfort of the house. The indoor thermal parameters were recorded using HOBOware Data Logger and evaluated using CBE Thermal Comfort Calculator. The study shows that the living room with a bigger WWR had the lowest thermal comfort levels. Besides the WWR, window placements and the shading devices also help in reducing the sun exposure of the frontage wall and increase the indoor thermal comfort. Civil society plays an important role in supporting the development of the country. However, the lack of current studies focuses on this aspect, especially from the fiqh approach. Thus, this paper will explore the principle of ‘La Dharar Wa La Dhirar’ as a guide in empowering the role of civil society in the built environment. This qualitative study accomplished the content analysis from Kitab al-I’lan Bi Ahkam Al-Bunyan. The findings indicated that several essences derived from the Kitab related the roles of civil society towards the sustainable built environment in the future. Over the last few years, revitalization through painting in the slum area become popular in some cities in Indonesia. The attractive colors and illustrations have escalated the village on social media, especially for youth. The study focuses on investigating the roles of art in Kampung Pelangi potential for city landmark. Interviews and observations were done as a preliminary study, and survey online intended to understand the university students’ perception as a youth representative. The Malaysian government had announced the Movement Control Order (MCO) to handle the Covid-19 crisis. During MCO, the government has used media channels to spread the information to the public. This research aims to identify the mediating part of both knowledge and awareness between students' attitude and media role during MCO. The findings from 338 respondents analysed using structural equation modelling found that knowledge and awareness mediate between media and students' attitude. This study could guide policymakers to promote a greater understanding of the coronavirus pandemic by using the mass media. This paper presents an on-going progress of a study on landscape elements in the context of culture. The study has sought to discover people’s perception, experience and responses towards their surroundings based on elements that relate to their culture and norms. Eventually, new developments do not seem to recognize and respect the importance of cultural aspects resulting disoriented buildings. An extensive reviewed of the literature was conducted to rediscover the fundamental notions of place, perception and experience.
