ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan-perusahaan sektor property, real estate dan konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2013. Pada penelitian ini konsep good corporate governance diproksikan menggunakan indikator kepemilikan institusional, kepemilikan manajerial, komposisi dewan komisaris independen dan komite audit. Sample dipilih secara purposive dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi dewan komisaris independen secara signifikan berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress. Sementara kepemilikan institusional, kepemilikan manajerial dan komite audit, secara berturut-turut, berpengaruh negatif, positif dan positif terhadap financial distress, namun tidak signifikan.Kata kunci: kepemilikan institusional, kepemilikan manajerial, komposisi dewan komisaris independen, komite audit, financial distress ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of good corporate governance on financial distress in the property, real estate and construction of buildings companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013. In this research, the concept of good corporate governance is proxied using indicators of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, the composition of the independent board and audit committee. Sample selected purposively and the data were analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed that the composition of the independent board significantly have negative effect on financial distress, while institutional ownership, managerial ownership and the audit committee, respectively, have negative effect, positive and positive impact on financial distress, yet insignificant.Keywords: institutional ownership, managerial ownership, the composition of the independent board, audit committee, financial distress

This study aims to determine the effect of financial distress, company size, and corporate governance on audit delay. This research was conducted at mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The number of samples taken was 32 companies so that there were 96 observations, with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis found that financial distress and independent board of commissioners have positive effect on audit delay. Firm size, audit committee and institutional ownership have negative effect on audit delay. Keywords: Financial distress, firm size, corporate governance, audit delay

This study aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership, independent board of commissioners, board of directors, and audit committee on financial distress in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. This research used the purposive sampling method with a sample of 41 companies consisting of 205 observational data. Data were analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed that independent board of commissioners and board of directors had a significant and negative effect on financial distress. However, managerial ownership and audit committee did not have a significant effect on financial distress. This study supports the agency theory, which states that the monitoring role of the independent board of commissioners and the board of directors can minimize the occurrence of agency conflicts in a company. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and good corporate governance on earnings quality in food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2015-2018 period. Profitability is calculated using Return on Assets (ROA). The proxy of Good Corporate Governance are institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, and independent commissioner. The dependent variable in this study is earnings quality measured by discretionary accrual using Modified Jones Model to detect earning management. This study used secondary data from the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id) and the sampling method in this study uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability and audit committee have a positive effect on earnings quality, while the independent commissioner has a negative effect on earnings quality. Other independent variables i.e. institutional ownership and managerial ownership have no significant effect on earnings quality

This research aimed to get empirical evidence about the effect of profitability and good corporate governance as proxied by the proportion of independent board commissioners, number of board commissioners meetings, proportion of audit committee, number of audit committee meetings, managerial ownersip and institutional ownership. The population of this research was companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2017. The sample of this research was fixed by purposive sampling method so that was found 88 samples. Technique of data analysis was multiple linear regression. The result of research showed that profibility, the proportion of independent board commissioners, proporsion of audit committee, managerial ownership and institutional ownership had significant positive effect on firm value, while commissioners meetings and audit committee meetings had no effect on firm value

<p>The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of good corporate governance on stock returns. Return is the level of profit obtained by investors on investment activities. Good corporate governance used in this study is an independent board of commissioners, audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. This research was conducted using the annual report documentation method of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2019. The sampling method in this study was purposive sampling with the number of samples obtained is 106 samples. Data processing is done by quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the audit committee and institutional ownership have a negative and significant effect on stock returns, while independent commissioners and managerial ownership have no effect on stock returns.<em></em></p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh <em>good corporate governance</em> terhadap pengembalian saham. <em>Return</em> adalah tingkat keuntungan yang diperoleh investor atas kegiatan investasi. <em>Good corporate governance </em>yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dewan komisaris independen, komite audit, kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi laporan tahunan perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) 2016–2019. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah <em>purposive sampling</em> dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 106 sampel. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel komite audit dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap <em>return</em> saham, sedangkan dewan komisaris independen dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap <em>return</em> saham.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p>


This study aims to determine how the influence of firm size and good corporate governance on the occurrence of financial distress in various industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012-2017. The research method used is descriptive and verifiative. The sample used were 5 sector companies which were done by purposive sampling. Data analysis method used was panel data regression analysis using Eviews 9. The results showed that simultaneously the size of the company and good corporate governance have effect on the occurrence of financial distress conditions about 69.2%. Partially the size of the company has an effect of 39.7%, institutional ownership has an effect 22.4% on the occurrence of financial distress, while managerial ownership has an effect of 7.1% but not significant.

The objective of this research was to prove empirically the factors affecting the good corporate governance and the return on assets onthe tax avoidance of the manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2016. The independent variables of this research werethe institutional ownership, the managerial ownership, the proportion of independent board of Commissioners, the audit committee, the audit quality, the return on assets; while, the dependent variable of this research wasthe tax avoidance. The data collectingtechnique used in this research was the purposive sampling. The number of sample used in this research was 57 manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regressionby using IBM SPSS Version 20 program. The result of this research showed that the managerial ownership, the audit quality, and the return on assets affected the tax avoidance; while, the institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, and theaudit committee did not have any effect on the tax avoidance

The objective of this study is examine the effect of good corporate governance and debt maturity towards bond rating prediction. Good corporate governance is proxied by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board size, independent directors, audit committee, and audit quality. The sample in this study consist of 229 bonds issued by financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2013 and was ranked by PT PEFINDO. This study uses ordinal regression analysis model to test the effect of good corporate governance and debt maturity towards bond rating prediction. The results of this study showed that institutional ownership and audit committee have significant positive effect towards bond rating prediction while independent commissioner have  significant negative effect towards bond rating prediction. Managerial ownership, board size, audit quality and maturity haven’t significantly affect toward bond ratings. The findings of this study indicated that companies with the bigger institutional ownership and the bigger audit committees, then predicted the company has bonds with higher ratings. The findings that the independent commissioner has  significant negative effect toward bond rating prediction indicate that the presence of independent commissioner haven’t been able to role effectively so expected the quality of independent commissioner should be improved.

This study aims to examine and find empirical evidence regarding the influence of corporate governance as explained by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, independent commissioners, audit committee on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2019 period. In this study, leverage, profitability and company size are used as control variables. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2019. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method and the results get a sample of 361 companies. The analytical tool used in this study is logistic regression. The test results show that managerial ownership has no effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and audit committees have an effect on financial distress. Leverage and company size as control variables show results that are not in accordance with their function, namely that they do not affect financial distress, and profitability as control variables show results that are in accordance with their function and have an effect on financial distress
