This research was motivated by the conditions encountered in the field that: 1)there were still parents who lacked knowledge about what facilities orinfrastructure were given to basic children, 2) still not creating a good learningatmosphere at home. So the purpose of this study is to describe: 1) The role ofparents in creating a good atmosphere at home. 2) The role of parents in providingfacilities and infrastructure in providing child learning facilities. This research isquantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all parents of grade 1elementary school students in RW 01 RT 01 and 02 in Binuang Village, PauhSub-District, Padang City, as many as 32 people. The technique used in samplingis total sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire, while fortechnical data analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the role ofparents in providing learning facilities for grade 1 children in good aspects, and 2)in the aspects of learning facilities and infrastructure at home are also in goodcategory. Based on the results of this study the researchers can develop more rolesin providing learning facilities for grade 1 elementary school children.

The school from home (SFH) policy during the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the routine activities of elementary students at home. Prior to COVID-19, the time spent by elementary school children using gadgets ranged from 1 to 2 hours per day, while during SFH elementary students could spend at least 4 hours per day. The increasing intensity and frequency of gadget use among elementary school students makes the role of parents important in accompanying children. Of course, the role of parents is needed so that children can use gadgets wisely to support educational goals, not just for entertainment purposes. The purpose of this study is to strengthen the role of parents in assisting elementary school children to use gadgets during the COVID-19 pandemic through outreach and mentoring activities. The subjects involved were 30 parents who have elementary school children in Porodeso Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency. The method of implementation uses face-to-face techniques (with health protocols), door to door, and online (online using whatsapp group). Based on the results of interviews with parents after participating in the program, it shows that most parents have understood and implemented the gadget assistance material for children. The principles of gadget assistance for elementary school children include: exemplary, agreement, consistency, and serenity.

One of them is the lack of teacher's role in the learning process at school can cause children's understanding to decrease, especially in elementary school children. ABSTRAKPada proses belajar di sekolah khususnya Sekolah Dasar (SD), guru mempunyai tugas yang berat karena di SD siswa mengalami banyak perkembangan selain perkembangan fisik. Oleh karena itu guru harus menjadi fasilitator yang baik bagi siswa dalam belajarnya. Banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar di sekolah khususnya siswa jenjang SD. Tentunya peran orang tua sangat penting untuk membimbing dan mengajari anaknya dengan baik di rumah. Banyak kendala yang dihadapi oleh para orang tua dalam membimbing, mengarahkan terutama mengajari anaknya jika ada kesulitan dalam belajar di rumah. Banyak orang tua yang mengeluh karena belum optimal dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan apalagi mengajari anak-anaknya dalam belajar di rumah. Hal tersebut dikarenakan sebagian besar orang tuanya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani dan mereka harus bekerja ke sawah. Meraka sadar bahwa kurang optimal mengajari anak-anaknya jika mengalami kesulitan dalam belajarnya di rumah. Apa daya mereka juga mengalami keterbatasan biaya untuk mengikutkan anaknya dalam lembaga bimbingan belajar di luar jam sekolah untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar. Hal tersebut akan mengakibatkan motivasi belajar anak menurun karena anak tidak bisa mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan dalam belajarnya. Anak-anak akan malas belajar, mereka menganggap pelajaran tersebut sulit dan tidak perlu dipelajari. Motivasi belajar anak dapat menurun karena kurang bimbingan dan arahan orang tua saat proses belajar di rumah. Perlu adanya bantuan pendampingan bimbingan belajar di rumah bagi anak-anak SD untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal itu dilaksanakan sebagai upaya membantu orang tua dalam membimbing dan mengajar anaknya jika ada yang mengalami kesulitan belajar di rumah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Buruan Tampaksiring. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari antausias dan semangat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan bimbingan belajar. Selain itu siswa juga aktif menjawab soal –soal terkait materi yang diberikan serta mereka juga semangat belajar dan berdiskusi. Mereka tidak segan bertanya jika mereka kurang mengerti terkait materi pelajaran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar tanpa hambatan yang cukup berarti. Kata kunci: pendampingan bimbingan belajar; motivasi belajar. ABSTRACTIn the process of learning in schools, especially elementary schools (SD), teachers have a difficult task because in elementary school students experience many developments besides physical development. Therefore the teacher must be a good facilitator for students in their learning. Many students have difficulty learning at school, especially elementary school students. Of course the role of parents is very important to guide and teach their children well at home. Many obstacles faced by parents in guiding, directing especially teaching their children if there are difficulties in learning at home. Many parents who complain because it is not optimal in guiding and directing especially teaching their children in learning at home. That is because most of his parents earn a living as farmers and they have to work in the fields. They realize that it is not optimal to teach their children if they have difficulty learning at home. What power do they also experience limited costs to include their children in tutoring institutions outside school hours to overcome learning difficulties. This will result in a child's learning motivation decreases because the child can not overcome the difficulties in learning. Children will be lazy to learn, they think the lesson is difficult and does not need to be learned. Children's learning motivation can decrease due to lack of guidance and direction from parents when learning at home. There needs to be assistance in assisting tutoring at home for elementary school children to foster student motivation. This was carried out as an effort to help parents in guiding and teaching their children if anyone had difficulty learning at home. This activity was carried out in Dusun Buruan Tampaksiring. The method used in this activity is the lecture and discussion method. The success of this activity can be seen from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students in participating in tutoring activities. In addition, students are also active in answering questions related to the material provided and they are also passionate about learning and discussing. They did not hesitate to ask if they did not understand the subject matter. The implementation of these community service activities went smoothly without significant obstacles. Keywords: tutoring assistance; motivation to learn.

The Impact

The purpose of this writing is to analyze the role of teachers in tackling the impact of digital learning towards the character building of students at elementary school. Digital learning gives positive and negative effects towards elementary school children. Therefore, the teacher becomes an upbuilding and directs the child to use the digital tools wisely. Through the good character management towards the digital use, it will also build the good character of elementary school students. As to this matter, the research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The qualitative method is a method in the field of human science with an activity to collect facts and relationships with the human nature, society, behavior and spiritual nature of man. Some findings from this research consist of the use digital learning, the impact of digital learning for the character building of elementary school children, and the role of teachers in building the character of the students in the digital age. Digital learning, basically, gives good impact towards students, however it also creates bad impact towards the character related to the morality of children. Therefore, teachers are responsible to fortify students in facing the impact of digital learning.   Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam mengatasi dampak digital learning terhadap pembentukan karakter Anak SD. Digital learning memberikan dampak positif dan negatif bagi anak SD. Maka guru menjadi sosok yang dapat membina dan mengarahkan anak untuk menggunakan alat digital dengan baik. Agar melalui pengelolaan sikap terhadap digital dengan baik akan membentuk karakter yang baik pula bagi anak SD. Terkait hal tersebut, maka metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan secara deskriptif. Metode kualitatif merupakan metode dalam bidang ilmu kemanusiaan dengan aktivitas untuk mengumpulkan fakta serta hubungan dengan alam, masyarakat, kelakuan serta rohani manusia yang kemudian dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Adapun temuan-temuan dalam penulisan yakni, pengaplikasian digital learning khususnya bagi anak SD, dampak digital learning bagi pembentukan karakter anak SD, serta bagaimana peran guru terhadap pembentukan karakter anak di era digital. Digital learning pada dasarnya berdampak baik khususnya kepada siswa, namun juga dapat berdampak buruk terhadap karakter yang menyangkut moral dan akhlak anak. Dengan demikian, guru bertanggung jawab untuk membentengi siswa dalam menghadapi dampak dari digital learning.

This article aims to identify the importance of the teacher's role in shaping the values of Pancasila-based elementary school children in the digital age. The method used in the form of literature study by conducting a review of the literature, books, and reports relating to the case to be solved. Pancasila reflects the value of character which has an important role in character building. The role of the teacher in shaping the character of elementary school students, among others, is strengthening the foundation of faith, accustoming to good behavior, instilling values of unity, tolerance, tolerance, and being honest, moral, and responsible.

The purpose of the study was to establish the reliability, the structural and the convergent validity of the “Dimensions of Academic Hardiness Questionnaire” for late elementary school children. A sample of children (N = 1264) aged 10-12 years completed the questionnaire and the “Athens Coping Scale”. Multiple fit indices provided support that the 9-factor model had a good fit to the data. Reliability coefficients ranged from .68 to .83. The study provided also preliminary evidence of convergent validity of the “Dimensions of Academic Hardiness” scores with one theoretically related measure, the “Athens Coping Scale”. The results enrich the notion of Academic Hardiness in late elementary school children as the role of awareness and the role of children’s previous experiences has been distinguished. The relation between the “Dimensions of Academic Hardiness” and achievement goal orientations in children learning is also noted. These findings are discussed in the context of the relevant literature.

AbstractAround 30% of elementary school students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are considered minimally verbal, yet there is limited research addressing the needs of this group of students. Several recent studies have demonstrated successful improvement of the communication skills of elementary school students with limited verbal skills. Additionally, there are focused intervention practices that are evidence based and may be useful in targeting communication skills for children with ASD who are minimally verbal. This article will review existing information about interventions to target communication skills in elementary school children with ASD who are minimally verbal, identify potential target skills, and provide case examples of how to embed communication interventions in elementary school classroom settings from a pilot intervention study.

<p class="abstrak">Technology helps people. It makes it easier for them to find and use information. It also helps schools in educating children and this study focuses on the Anak Bangsa elementary school in Manado. Technology, and audio-visual media, help students learn, and it is the role of teachers to guide students in understanding technology and provide direction to them in using it well. It is also the role of parents to guide and direct their children in using technology and to help them avoid abusing technology. Addiction is one of the things that adversely affects the development of a child, therefore good cooperation between parents and teachers is needed to help develop children, both in school and at home, to be wise users of technology and audio-visual media. </p><p class="abstrak"><strong>ABSTRAK </strong>Teknologi membantu masyarakat sebagai kebutuhan kehidupan mereka, dimana kecanggihan teknologi memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi serta mengembangkan diri mereka, begitupun dalam pendidikan, dalam penelitian ini ialah sekolah dasar karya anak bangsa di Manado. Adapun audio-visual dalam dunia pendidikan untuk membantu para murid dalam pembelajaran, karena itu peran guru sangat diperlukan dalam membimbing para siswa untuk mengenal teknologi dengan baik, serta memberikan arahan kepada mereka untuk bisa memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik, begitupun peran orang tua dalam perkembangan anak sangat diperlukan untuk memberikan mereka arahan serta perhatian yang baik, karena peran orang tua memberikan nilai yang baik untuk mengindari anak dengan penyalahgunaaan teknologi. Kecanduan ialah salah satu hal yang berdampak buruk untuk perkembangan seorang anak, oleh karena itu diperlukan kerja sama antara orang tua dan guru yang baik untuk mambantu perkembangan seorang anak baik dalam dunia pendidikannya, serta kesharian nya. Karena itu akan sangat mempengaruhi masa depan mereka.</p>
