Along with the times, technology is also developing so rapidly, one of the innovations in technological development is the use of webcams. the use of a webcam can be developed as a sensor in detecting an object through several stages of image processing. The use of a webcam aims to simplify an automation system so that it can be used to perform several tasks at once. Therefore, the author intends to design and manufacture an object detector with measurement parameters of the object's color, shape and size. This tool uses a webcam as a sensing sensor, and uses programming in PYTHON to recognize objects to be detected, and uses a servo motor to drive object actuators. The results of this tool have been tested and are able to detect objects properly based on predetermined color, shape and size. This tool is also able to separate objects that meet specifications from objects that do not meet specifications. Object detection using a webcam and an object separating actuator can work well.

Technology developed rapidly along the times, various ways are done to make works easier. One of them is by utilizing artificial intelligence, likes the use of a webcam as a sensor in detecting an object through several stages of image processing. There was research on object recognition previously using three measurement parameters based on color, shape, and size of objects. It is used a webcam as the sensing sensor, and image processing is processed with python programming. In this article, writer described about image processing for the detection of objects used in the research. The results of this device have been tested and are able to detect objects properly based on predetermined color, shape and size. Object detection using a webcam can work properly according to what the author wants.

The author has designed a visual workbench to realize that the rim can rotate with the workbench. Meanwhile, the linear CCD camera records the rim’s circumference. The paper has explored the measurement method of getting the rim valve hole position using machine vision. The system can calculate the position of rim-hole and control the servo motor by image processing, characteristic recognizing and measuring to locate the position of wheel-hole automatically. And the paper has verified the accuracy of the method by experiments.

Therefore, researchers are interested in taking a title, namely Marketpleace Q-Store Market Analysis and planning. Tembilahan Case Study aims to become a media promotion, and can make it easier for people to find goods that they want. In designing this Marketplace, the analysis used is PIECES and UML (Unified Modeling Language) as modeling and using the Framework code igniter to facilitate researchers in building systems. With the implementation of the Marketplace Q-Store, it provides a platform for seller to market their products.

The arena fragmentation test (AFT) is one of the tests used to design an effective warhead. Conventionally, complex and expensive measuring equipment is used for testing a warhead and measuring important factors such as the size, velocity, and the spatial distribution of fragments where the fragments penetrate steel target plates. In this paper, instead of using specific sensors and equipment, we proposed the use of a deep learning-based object detection algorithm to detect fragments in the AFT. To this end, we acquired many high-speed videos and built an AFT image dataset with bounding boxes of warhead fragments. Our method fine-tuned an existing object detection network named the Faster R-convolutional neural network (CNN) on this dataset with modification of the network’s anchor boxes. We also employed a novel temporal filtering method, which was demonstrated as an effective non-fragment filtering scheme in our recent previous image processing-based fragment detection approach, to capture only the first penetrating fragments from all detected fragments. We showed that the performance of the proposed method was comparable to that of a sensor-based system under the same experimental conditions. We also demonstrated that the use of deep learning technologies in the task of AFT significantly enhanced the performance via a quantitative comparison between our proposed method and our recent previous image processing-based method. In other words, our proposed method outperformed the previous image processing-based method. The proposed method produced outstanding results in terms of finding the exact fragment positions.
