China is theone of the origins of bamboo plants and distribution centers in the world, is one of the most abundant bamboo resources countries, and is known as the "kingdom of bamboo". According to authoritative department statistics show that China's bamboo species has accounted for about 37% of the world total. With the increasingly shortage of wood resources, the sustainable development of the high, Bamboo Glulam Furniture, as a kind of processing is better than wood, without being limited by the resources of new materials, gradually entered the market. While the development of Bamboo Glulam Furniturenot only can alleviate lumber supply gap, but also can make full use of bamboo resources in China, very fit the "two-type society" and "sustainable development" theme. This article will from Bamboo Glulam to sexual characteristics, processing characteristic, analyzes how to make use of its advantages, show the characteristics of bamboo timber, exploring the road of the development of new composite materials design.

The author has designed a visual workbench to realize that the rim can rotate with the workbench. Meanwhile, the linear CCD camera records the rim’s circumference. The paper has explored the measurement method of getting the rim valve hole position using machine vision. The system can calculate the position of rim-hole and control the servo motor by image processing, characteristic recognizing and measuring to locate the position of wheel-hole automatically. And the paper has verified the accuracy of the method by experiments.

In view of the processing characteristic of large equipment, The CNC system of the fine milling machine tool for the large double-sided of aluminum ingot is designed, the hardware of the system is introduced, the software is illuminated mainly, the system is configured based on SCOUT, and the control programs of the manual and automatic processing are designed. Based on WINCC Flexible, the operating system which can meet the multi-interface easy to operate and live real-time monitoring is designed. As the result of the commissioning, the system is stable and reliable.

The effect of silane treatment on processing characteristic and swelling behavior of recycled acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBRr)/polypropylene (PP)/rice husk powder (RHP) composites has been studied. Polypropylene/recycled acrylonitrile butadiene rubber/rice husk powder (PP/NBRr/RHP) composite were prepared by melt mixing technique at 180º C for 9 minutes and 50rpm rotor speed using an internal mixer. Five different composites compositions (70/30/0, 7030/5, 70/30/10, 70/30/15 and 70/30/30), with silane treated RHP (treated) and without silane treatment RHP (untreated) was studied. The specimens were analyzed for swelling behavior with ASTM oil No.3 and processing torque of composites was obtained during composite preparation. The results showed that swelling percentage for both composites increased with NBRr content. However the treated composites exhibited lower swelling characteristics. Processing torque of both composites also showed higher torque reading with increasing NBRr content. However the treated composite with silane exhibited much higher torque value for similar composition composites. Better interaction between RHP filler and PP/NBRr matrixs was obtained with treated composites.
