Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan teknologi biogas kepada peternak sapi dalam rangka penyediaan sumber energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan Distrik Manimeri, Kabupaten Teluk Bintuni, Provinsi Papua Barat. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu sosialisasi tentang teknologi biogas, pemasangan biodigester portabel dan pembuatan biodigester sederhana, pengisian biodigester, uji pembakaran biogas, dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan mempunyai respon yang baik terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Setelah 3 minggu pengisian feses sapi ke dalam biodigester, biogas telah terbentuk dan dapat menyalakan kompor terus menerus. Direkomendasikan bahwa biodigester sederhana dapat diterapkan pada petani yang memelihara sapi pada skala 3-5 ekor dalam rangka penyediaan sumber energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan.Kata kunci: Biodigester; Biogas; Feses Sapi; Energi; Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat.AbstractThe purpose of the community service activity was to introduce biogas technology to cattle farmers in order to provide alternative energy sources that are environmentally friendly. This activity was carried out at Manimeri District, Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua Province. The training was carried out in several stages, namely socialization of biogas technology, installation of portable biodigester, making simple biodigester, filling of biodigester, biogas combustion testing and evaluation monitoring. The results of the activities showed that the participants of the activity have a good response to the material provided. After 3 weeks of filling cattle feces into biodigester, biogas has been formed and can ignite the stove continuously. It was recommended that simple biodigester can be applied to farmers who raising a scale of 3-5 head of cattle in the context of providing alternative energy sources that are environmentally friendly.Keywords: Biodigester; Biogas; Cattle Feces; Energy; Community Service.

This community service program aims to utilize solar power as a source of electrical energy to replace the PLN electricity source at Bopongan RT 04 Padukuhan Kauman, Tamanan, Banguntapan, Bantul. The method of implementing this abdimas begins with data collection of residents 'houses that have not yet been supplied with electricity from PLN, then socialization is carried out about the theory of solar panels to residents and ends with the installation of solar panels in residents' homes. The results of the Community Service were quite satisfying, namely residents who had not yet received PLN electricity were able to enjoy lighting with alternative energy sources.

Subject. The article discusses limited sources of energy nowadays and an ongoing survey of new ones. I focus on fuel and energy complexes worldwide and in Russia. Objectives. The study is to analyze the future use of alternative energy sources in the fuel and energy complex nationwide and worldwide. I review the existing energy sources of the fuel and energy complex in the global and regional markets, specifically the alternative ones. Methods. The study relies upon methods of statistics, analysis and systems approach. Results. The article demonstrates that the fuel and energy complex strongly depends on the current situation in the energy resource market, which is difficult to forecast. If we continue relying on traditional energy resources, we get exposed to some risks affecting the sustainable development of the economy. Russia should diversify the power engineering sector by developing alternative energy sources. The article sets forth the economic rationale for alternative sources and key steps Russia shall make. Conclusions and Relevance. Considering the current situation in the energy balance, alternative energy is what any advanced society seeks for, being supported by manufacturers, governmental institutions, and researchers, though low profitability and high infrastructure costs impede its development. In Russia, these challenges are even more palpable. However, even now Russia is able to find alternative energy solutions. In addition to advantages of alternative energy, which is globally proclaimed, they will also help Russia diversify and update the economic system.
