Abstract Supercapacitors are one of the energy storages designed to serve the increasing demand for electricity nowadays. They are durable and can charge electricity faster and keep electric charge longer. In this study, electrodes for supercapacitors were made from aluminum foils coated with carbon nanotube film and separated by electrolyte solution and a separator. A separator could prevent short circuit but allow ions to pass through, and consequently increased storage layers of electric charge. The separators used in this study were made from polysulfone containing CaTiO3 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 wt% with perovskite properties, high dielectric constant, electrical resistivity and energy density. After that, they were built in coin-cell form. It was found from the study that the addition of 2.0 wt% CaTiO3, the largest proportion of all samples, provided a maximum specific energy at 4.03 mWh/g and a maximum specific capacitance at 4.64 F/g. accounting for 2.17-time higher than that of polysulfone without CaTiO3. The functional group analysis of PSF and CaTiO3 separators showed that the increasing of CaTiO3 in the PSF separators, the 2958 cm−1 in C-H stretch peaks reduced, and consequently specific energy and specific capacitance were higher. Thus, supercapacitors with CaTiO3-filled polysulfone separators are suitable for improving efficiency of supercapacitors in energy storage from electrical supply.

Abstract The use of an asynchronous generator to power the electrical equipment of the sprinkler is a comprehensive solution that allows you to reduce electrical losses in the supply line. The problem of reactive power compensation for sprinkler machines can be solved by dividing capacitor units into main and additional, the main one is to create the required excitation current in the asynchronous generator, and the additional one is to compensate for the reactive component of the electric motor current. Moreover, an additional unit is installed directly at the outputs of the booster pump to unload the line, and the main capacitor unit is installed near the asynchronous generator.

Electric vehicles are often designed in the same way as their conventional counterparts based on the internal combustion engine, they are heavy machines for comfort and safety reasons, and increasingly powerful. Under these conditions, in order to simplify the motor electrical supply system by reducing the current levels, the voltage chosen for the battery is very high and can go up to 700 V. However, for many applications where the power is relatively low (< 30 kW per motor), it can be more beneficial to size the system at very low voltage (< 60 V). This approach allows to overcome many constraining safety requirements and also to use off-the-shelf components (motor controllers, connectors, etc.) that are more easily available on the market in this voltage range. There are also many regulatory provisions that may require to stay within this voltage limit. This article presents a variety of very low voltage motorisation solutions with a required power up to 100kW. They use two complementary approaches. The first is to implement an original permanent magnet synchronous machine technology with an optimised armature winding for low voltage operation. The second is based on power splitting where the electrical machine being designed to be driven by multiple controllers. Many examples of low-voltage motorised vehicles (sporty vehicle, tractor, re-motorised automobile, etc.) are illustrated in this article.

A cold plasma source operating at atmospheric pressure powered by a voltage multiplier is reported. In addition to its usual high voltage output, there is an intermediate output of lower voltage and higher current capability. A discharge current is drawn from both outputs. The ratio of the current supplied by each output depends on the operating state, namely, before or after the plasma jet formation. The electrical circuit is equivalent to two dc sources connected in parallel, used to initiate and sustain the electrical discharge. The plasma source is aimed to study the effect of cold plasma on the surface of various liquid or solid materials, including polymers.

Service recovery is still among the most essential approaches to enhance the durability of their contemporary distribution system. Following the error location is identified and isolated; a correct SR program ought to be ascertained to resupply out-of-service places. 2 heuristic approaches are suggested to locate an efficient and speedy solution in contemporary power supply systems. For resolving the support recovery issue in distribution systems, change selection indices sectionalizes switch stated by an analytic plan in addition to a practicable optimized heuristic graph-based process are given. The formulation of the issue includes four different functions like optimizing the complete load restored and cutting back the amount of changing operations. Maximizing the best priority restored loading, also decreasing load decreasing. A nice evaluation of change indices is used for many player tie sticks from the apparatus to think about the ideal solution and minimize the complete quantity of shifting operations. A brand new graph-based program may be used for hunting the best sectionalizes change and diminishing the voltage fall. The precision as well as the validity of this process are analyzed in two regular electrical supply procedures. The outcomes of these suggested methods are utilized for IEEE regular bus test instance.
