The paper considers issues related to the use of capillary luminescent flaw detection for monitoring glass-metal soldered joints of piezoelectric products. Standard methods of leakproofness testing of piezoelectric products are analysed; the framework for the applicability of each of them at the stages of the life cycle of piezoelectric products is established. Based on the results of the studies, a capillary luminescent control method was chosen to check the tightness of glass-metal soldered joints in piezoelectric products. The stages of conducting a capillary luminescent method for monitoring glass-metal soldered joints of piezoelectric products are presented. A method for monitoring the tightness of piezoelectric products using the capillary luminescent method has been developed.

The article describes the work on the use of capillary fluorescent flaw detection for the control of metal-glass junction of piezoelectric products. Within the framework of the work, standard methods of testing piezoelectric products for tightness were analyzed, their analysis was carried out, and the scope of applicability of each of them at the stages of the life cycle of piezoelectric products was established. In the course of work, capillary control methods were considered for use in production and their advantages were highlighted. As a result of the work carried out, a capillary luminescent control method was chosen to check the tightness of piezoelectric products in the area of the metal-glass junction. The stages of the capillary luminescent control method are described. Based on the conducted research, a method for controlling the tightness of piezoelectric products was developed, including the use of a capillary luminescent method.

This paper presents a C-rate control method for a battery/supercapacitor (SC) hybrid energy storage system (HESS) to enhance the life cycle of the battery in electric vehicles (EVs). The proposed HESS provides satisfactory power for dynamic movements of EVs (e.g., acceleration or braking) while keeping the battery current within a secure level to prevent it from degradation. The configurations of conventional HESSs are often complex due to the two energy storages and their current/voltage sensing involved. Therefore, in this paper, a simple current-sensing scheme is utilized and the battery is directly treated as a controlled variable to help the battery output current remain stable for different load conditions. While the proposed circuit requires only one current feedback signal, neither the SC nor load current sensors are needed, and the circuit design is thus significantly simplified. Both simulation and experimental results validated the effectiveness of the proposed HESS operating in conjunction with the motor drive system. The proposed method aims at fully utilizing recycled energy and prolonging battery lifespan.

Detecting gene-environment (G × E) interactions in the context of genome-wide association studies (GWAS) is a challenging problem since standard methods generally present a lack of power. An additional difficulty arises from the fact that the causal exposure is seldom observed and only a proxy of this exposure is observed. This leads to an additional drop in terms of power and it explains the failure of standard methods in detecting interactions, even very strong ones. In this article, we consider the latent exposure as a source of heterogeneity and we propose a new powerful method, named “Breakpoint Model for Logistic Regression” (BMLR), based on a breakpoint model, in order to detect G × E interactions when causal exposure is unobserved. First, the BMLR method is compared to the ordered-subset analysis for case-control method, which has been developed for the same purpose, through simulations. This highlights the ability of BMLR to detect the heterogeneity, and therefore, to detect interaction with latent exposure. Finally, the BMLR method is compared to standard methods, such as Plink, to perform a GWAS on a published realistic benchmark.

The article describes the elements of the sociophysical approach in relation to the study of processes at an enterprise that produces aircraft engines. The interpretation of the sociophysical approach of financial sustainability for the enterprise is given. It is shown that the use of standard methods of financial and economic analysis of an enterprise in the cases of long-life cycle is limited and leads to contradictory conclusions. The comparison of the results of sociophysical modeling with the results of modeling obtained using the well-known methods of financial and economic analysis of the enterprise have be done. The concept of the sociophysical function and necessary formulas are given. The formulation of the problem of forming a toolkit for sociophysical assessment of sustainability of an enterprise using sociophysical potentials is formulated. Models of the dynamics of the potentials of the sources of financing the assets of the enterprise, the financial sustainability are represented.

The phenomenon of budgetoverruns is common in the construction projects. The lack of overall projectinformation is the important reasons of causing budget overruns. BIM, as a kindof highly integrated information model, will play a positive role in thebuilding life-cycle cost control. This paper points out the disadvantages oftraditional cost control method, introduces the influence of BIM on costcontrol in different stages of building life-cycle, and briefly describes the present situation and futuredevelopment of BIM.

Scabiosis caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and still hard to controled. So many factors that influence include geographic factors that play a role in the incidence of parasitic diseases as tropical Indonesiastrongly support the life cycle S.scabiei var.cuniculi. Control of scabies has been by way of drug delivery such as injection ivermectine scabies, permethrine cream, or the use of malathion liquid, the control method requires high costs due to scabies infections can occur repeatedly if the surrounding environment is not considered. Scabies or mange is a contagious skin disease due to mites (mites) Sarcoptes scabiei. All rabit  in Animal Hospital will be identified symptoms of scabies like their crust a whitish, thickening of the skin, the hair shaven in the nose, muzzle, around the eyes, ears or if the infection is severe can be found in the legs or back. Further assessment (scoring) between positive score 1-4 based on the severity of the infection. Keywords: Scabies, Sarcoptes scabei, Rabbit, Ivermectin
