This paper subject focuses on modelling of electrochemical processes during a deposition of nanostructured materials on a metallic substrate. Fundamentals of electrocrystallization processes and parameters influenced the final quality of the resulting products are considered. To quantify the evolution of the electrochemical reactor processes with respect to time, an equivalent electric circuit has been established. Two types of periodic supplying currents were taken into consideration: bipolar pulse current and sinusoidal rectified current. Results of performed computer simulations of electrocrystallization processes with the focus on mixed mode oscillations (MMOs) as the dynamical switches between small amplitude oscillations (SAOs) and large amplitude oscillations (LAOs) are presented. The established circuit model can lead to methods for fast treating large quantities of electrocrystallizator data and extracting from them kinetic parameters importantly influenced the structure of the produced materials.

The paper considers the problems of analyzing the PLL circuit taking into account the presence of nonidealities in the phase-frequency detector with a current key. To reduce the simulation efforts, it has been proposed to apply an equivalent electric circuit containing the complete schematic diagram of the PFD and circuit equivalents of the macromodels of other PLL blocks.

The peroxidase-oxidase oscillating reaction was the first (bio)chemical reaction to show chaotic behaviour. The reaction is rich in bifurcation scenarios, from period-doubling to peak-adding mixed mode oscillations. Here, we study...

Bursting discharge is a ubiquitous behavior in neurons, and abundant bursting patterns imply many physiological information. There exists a closely potential link between bifurcation phenomenon and the number of spikes per burst as well as mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs). In this paper, we have mainly explored the dynamical behavior of the reduced Purkinje cell and the existence of MMOs. First, we adopted the codimension-one bifurcation to illustrate the generation mechanism of bursting in the reduced Purkinje cell model via slow–fast dynamics analysis and demonstrate the process of spike-adding. Furthermore, we have computed the first Lyapunov coefficient of Hopf bifurcation to determine whether it is subcritical or supercritical and depicted the diagrams of inter-spike intervals (ISIs) to examine the chaos. Moreover, the bifurcation diagram near the cusp point is obtained by making the codimension-two bifurcation analysis for the fast subsystem. Finally, we have a discussion on mixed-mode oscillations and it is further investigated using the characteristic index that is Devil’s staircase.

In the era of education information and globalization, a new mode of teaching and micro class has emerged in the background of the Internet, which brings new challenges and opportunities to the teaching of the classroom. MOOCs has been piloted and applied in many universities in the form of SPOC. As a new form of curriculum, micro course has been applied to the teaching and learning process. The integration of Moor and micro class resources helps to turn the classroom into a mixed mode. This article will focus on this hot topic to analyse the characteristics of the class, the characteristics of the micro class and the influence on the students and teachers, to improve the quality of teaching and to realize the individualized and active study of the students. The article summarizes the results of blended teaching mode at home and abroad, and explores the development and application of MOOC and micro class resources.
