AbstractObjective – The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of corporate governance, profitability, and firm size on financial distress and its impact to the company value of the sub-sectors companies in infrastructure, utilities, and transportation that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2011-2015. Design/methodology – The secondary data in the form of financial statements are collected from the sub-sector companies in infrastructure, utilities, and transportation thand from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The data is taken from the companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period of 2011-2015. Samples are determined by using purposive sampling method and the samples are selected based on certain considerations or criteria. The analysis model used in this study is path analysis. Results – The results show that in the first line; corporate governance, profitability and firm size, both partially and simultaneously have significant influence on financial distress of the sub-sector companies on infrastructure, utilities, and transportation that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. In the second track, corporate governance, profitability, firm size and financial distress both partially and simultaneously have significant influence on the company value in the sub-sectors of infrastructure, utilities, and transportation that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research limitations/implications – The time of observation of the study is only 5 years and it does not properly reflect the actual phenomenon. The samples of the study are only limited to  Sub-Sector companies in Infrastructure, Utilities, Transportation even though there are still many other companies that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the influence of return on asset, debt to equity ratio, net profit margin and firm size towards income smoothing in consumer goods listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from period 2014 – 2016. This study used 27 data from manufacture companies that have been selected using purposive sampling method with total 81 data for three years. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial statements. This research used Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 19 software to process the data. The result of research shows that return on asset, net profit margin and firm size have no influence towards income smoothing. Debt to equity ratio has negative significant influence towards income smoothing.

This study aims to examine the influence of the financial distress, profitability, liquidity, firm size, commissioners and audit committee on voluntary disclosure in the annual report of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange over period of 2012 to 2016. The population of this study is manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are 33 manufacturing companies that fit the criteria. After filtering the companies using the purposive sampling method, there are 14 manufacturing companies used in this study. The results of the study show that: (1) financial distress does not have any significant influence on voluntary disclosure; (2) profitability does not have any significant influence on voluntary disclosure; (3) liquidity does not have any significant influence on to voluntary disclosure; (4) firm size does not have any significant influence on voluntary disclosure; (5) the audit committee does not have any significant influence on voluntary disclosure; and (6) the board of commissioners has a significant influence on voluntary disclosure.

This study aims to analyze the influence of firm size, financial distress, debt level, and managerial ownership on hedging decisions on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is associative-causality research. The population of this research is all the go pubic manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which are 170 companies. The number of samples used was 81 companies, which were taken using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques obtained from the annual financial statements of manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique uses the logistic regression analysis method. The results of data analysis show that: (1) firm size and managerial ownership variables have a positive and significant effect on hedging decisions and (2) financial distress and debt levels have a negative and insignificant effect on hedging decisions.Keywords:hedging, firm size, financial distress, debt level, managerial ownership

This study aims to determine the effect of financial distress, company size, and corporate governance on audit delay. This research was conducted at mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The number of samples taken was 32 companies so that there were 96 observations, with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis found that financial distress and independent board of commissioners have positive effect on audit delay. Firm size, audit committee and institutional ownership have negative effect on audit delay. Keywords: Financial distress, firm size, corporate governance, audit delay

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi aktivitas hedging dengan instrumen derivatif valuta asing pada perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2010-2012. Data yang digunakan adalah<br />data sekunder yang diunduh dari website Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2010-2012. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini sejumlah 77 perusahaan yang memiliki eksposur transaksi dan memiliki kelengkapan data untuk diteliti. Dari sampel tersebut sebanyak 28 perusahaan melakukan aktivitas hedging selama periode pengamatan dan 49 perusahaan tidak melakukan aktivitas hedging.Analisis Logistic Regression digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model analisis menghasilkan ketepatan 79.2% dan variabel leverage, liquidity, firm size dan financial distress berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prediksi probabilitas aktivitas hedging dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%, sedangkan variabel firm value dan growth opportunity berpengaruh tidak signifikan.</p><p> </p><p>The objective of the study was to know the factors which influence the hedging activity with foreign currency derivative instruments at non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2012. The data of the research were secondary data which was downloaded from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The population of the study was all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2010-2012. There were 77 companies which had the transaction exposure andcomplete data for analysis. From those samples, only 28 companies did hedging activities during the period of observation and 49 companies did not do hedging activities.The data were analyzed by Logistic Regression Analysis to test the hypothesis. The test result showed that analysis model gave the accuracy 79.2% and the research variables; leverage, liquidity, firm size, and financial distress significantly influenced the probability prediction of hedging activity with 5% level of significancy, while the research variables; firm value and growth opportunity did not give significant influence.</p>

This study is a conceptual paper that aims to determine the effect of independent commissioners, audit committees, financial distress, and company size on the integrity of financial statements. Previous theoretical studies have shown that the mechanism of good corporate governance, financial distress, and company size can affect the integrity of financial statements. From theoretical discussions and previous research, conclusions are obtained while independent commissioners, audit committees, financial distress, and company size on the integrity of financial statements have a positive effect. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2012 to 2018. The renewal in this study is the mechanism of good corporate governance that is used in this study only independent commissioners and audit committees. In addition, the year of research and the sample of research to be studied differ from previous studies

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, liquidity, and cash flow on financial distress. This study uses a logistic regression data analysis method with the help of the SPSS version 21 program. The population in this study were 19 food and beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2017-2019. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from financial reports published by the company from the website (www.idx.co.id). The sample was determined by the purposive sampling method, which is based on the criteria set and obtained as many as 19 companies where the research was conducted for 3 years so that 57 samples were obtained consisting of 15 companies that experienced financial distress and 42 companies that were non-distressing. The results of this research indicate that profitability, leverage and liquidity have no effect on financial distress while cash flow variables have an effect on financial distress. The results of this research are expected to be additional consideration in making company decisions in managing the company in order to avoid financial distress. And can be additional information for users of financial statements for consideration of investment decisions

This study aims to test the influence of free cash flow, profitability, firm size and leverage to the earnings managemen to non financial companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. There search type used in this research is hypothesis testing, by using purposive sampling method and there are 240 samples of data that become the object to be researched. The data type used is secondry data obtained from the financial statements ended on 31 December, published by the capital market reference center in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis used is multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The research results show that free cash flow, profitability, firm size and leverage with the same effect to nearnings management, never the less there lation partially show that (1) Free Cash Flow has significant influence toward earnings management. (2) Profitability has significant influence toward earnings management. (3) Firm Size has significant influence toward earnings management. <p><em>This </em><em>research</em><em> aimed to examine the effect of diamond fraud, corporate governance and complexity of the bank to financial statement fraud in companies engaged in banking activities using secondary data. </em><em></em></p><em>The population in this research was banking companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2015. The method used is multiple regression analysis by purposive sampling as sampling method. Selected samples of 30 companies during of 3 periods are 90 samples. Data were obtained through the annual financial statements which have been provided in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that pressure has significant positive effect on financial statement fraud, while opportunity, rationalization, capability, corporate governance and complexity have not significant effect on financial statement fraud. Adjusted R Square value of 0,115 can illustrate that the dependent variable was explained by the independent variable variabelitas for 11,5% while 88,5% are influenced by the other variables</em>

The objective of this research to analyze factors that have impact to financial statement fraud. Independent factors used in this research consists of financial distress, liquidity, leverage, and corporate governance. In other hand, the objective of this research also to analyze the factors that have influence to financial distress. Independent factors used in this research consist of profitability, liquidity, leverage, and corporate governance. Samples is all of manufacturing companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) period 2011-2015. Sampling method using purposive sampling with criterias setted by researcher and got 634 companies as the samples. Method of data analysis using path analysis and use PLS as software assisted. The results of this research are financial distress, liquidity, leverage, and corporate governance have a significant influence to financial statement fraud. In other hand profitability, liquidity, leverage, and corporate governance have significant influence to the financial distress.
