Early and complete diagnosis of carcinoid lung tumors is of great interest in the clinical oncology, since this is the basis for the possibility of using options for organ-preserving surgical treatment. According to the 2015 WHO classification, carcinoids of the group of neuroendocrine tumors are divided into two types: typical and atypical carcinoids. Based on literature data, there are 0.2–2 cases per 100,000 people. This article discusses the possibilities of radiation research methods in the early diagnosis of this tumor, as well as the assessment of surgical treatment using them.

Timely diagnosis of Ewing's sarcoma is an actual problem of our time, since this tumor is characterized by fairly rapid growth and aggressive course. According to literature data, it ranks 2-nd among all bone tumors, second only to osteosarcoma, and is 8.64%. This review article discusses the possibilities of radiation research methods in the early diagnosis of this tumor on the example a clinical observation of the extra-skeletal form of Ewing's sarcoma.

The article presents the literature review and our experience in early diagnosis of multiple sclerosis based on the updated McDonald criteria of 2017. The study included 256 patients with clinic symptoms of probable idiopathic infl ammatory demyelinating disease, including rare and atypical forms of demyelination. As a result of the study the sensitivity and specifi city of the determination of oligoclonal immunoglobulin G in the population of Rostov-on-Don was described for the fi rst time, including dependence of the duration of the disease. The relationship of clinical and MRI features of the fi rst attack of the disease with the probability of determining oligoclonal IgG in the cerebrospinal fl uid is refl ected

The author reviews the literature on electromyography and nerve conduction velocity studies in leprosy. It is concluded that these studies can be helpful in the early diagnosis of neural involvement, in the elucidation of pathophysiological mechanisms, and in the follow-up of patients under medical and/or surgical treatment.
