Psychological well-being merupakan aspek penting yang perlu dimiliki pengajar muda selama bertugas di daerah pedalaman Indonesia. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi psychological well-being adalah self compassion. Self compassion merupakan kemampuan individu untuk memberikan perhatian dan kepedulian   terhadap diri sendiri ketika mengalami tantangan, masalah, dan kesulitan dalam hidup serta mampu melihat hal tersebut sebagai bagian dari pengalaman hidup manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif untuk mengetahui peran self compassion terhadap psychological well-being pengajar muda di Indonesia Mengajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 orang pengajar muda yang sedang bertugas di daerah pedalaman dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala self compassion dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,943 dan skala psychological well-being dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,915. Hasil uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukan R= 0,792 dan adjusted R square sebesar 0,628. Hal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa self compassion memiliki peran sebesar 62,80% terhadap psychological well-being. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi self compassion sebesar 0,792 dan signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa self compassion berperan terhadap psychological well-being pengajar muda di Indonesia Mengajar.   Kata Kunci: Self-compassion, Psychological well-being, Pengajar Muda, Indonesia Mengajar

This paper explores the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being among hearing-impaired students. Emotional intelligence consists of five dimensions namely intrapersonal, interpersonal, adaptability, stress management and general mood. A total of 130 hearing-impaired students were chosen as participants via simple random sampling at four polytechnics in Malaysia. The Bar-On Emotional Quotient: Short (EQ-i: S) and Ryff‘s Psychological Well-Being instruments were utilised to measure emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. It was found that in general, hearing impaired students have moderate emotional intelligence level and psychological well-being. Results also found that intrapersonal, interpersonal and adaptability dimensions correlated significantly with psychological well-being. No correlations were found between stress management and general mood dimensions with psychological well-being. Though limited by their ability to speak and to hear, emotional intelligence among hearing-impaired students does play a role in enhancing their individual capability to learn and to experience positive psychological well-being in life.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh big five personality danadversity quotient terhadap psychological well-being. Sampel dalam penelitianini adalah santri pondok pesantren yang masih menetap di Pondok PesantrenDarul Muttaqien sebanyak 259 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalahprobability sampling (simple random sampling). Analisis data yang digunakanadalah Multiple Regression Analysis pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan big five personalitydan adversity quotient terhadap psychological well-being. Proporsi varians daripsychological well-being yang dijelaskan oleh semua independent variable adalahsebesar 0,193 atau 19,3%, sedangkan 80,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabellain diluar penelitian ini. Hasil uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa Dimensiopenness to experience dari variabel big five personality memiliki pengaruh yangpositif yang signifikan terhadap psychological well-being, dengan koefisien regresi0,224 dan signifikansi 0,046 (p<0,05). Sedangkan variabel-variabel lainnya tidakmemiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap psychological well-being.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived justice and organizational norms on teachers' psychological well-being. Methods: In 2017-2018, from high school graduates in Varamin County, 120 teachers were selected by simple random sampling and randomly assigned to eight groups. The instruments included the Holland vignette aimed to manipulate justice and organizational norms and psychological well-being questionnaire. The data were analyzed by multivariate covariance analysis. Results: The results indicated that perceived justice and organizational norms based on confirmation of positive behaviors and disapproval of negative behaviors affect admission, positive relationship, and teachers' psychological well-being growth. Conclusion: Regarding this finding, it seems necessary to pay attention to justice and reinforcement of positive organizational norms to improve teachers' psychological well-being.

Psychological well being merupakan salah satu keadaan psikologis yang dialami oleh mahasiswa yang mempengaruhi pembelajarannya terutama disaat mewabahnya virus corona baru (COVID 19). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Psychological well being mahasiswa dalam menjalani kuliah daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan skala penelitian ini menggunakan teori PWB (Psychological Well-Being) yang dikembangkan oleh Carol Ryff (1989). Skala PWB (Psychological Well-Being)  yang di gunakan terdiri atas enam aspek yaitu otonomi, penguasaan atas lingkungan, pertumbuhan pribadi, hubungan positif dengan orang lain, tujuan hidup, dan penerimaan diri. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan Mahasiswa semester III dan IV Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Pemilihan sampel penelitian menggunakan Teknik simple random sampling sehingga respon pada penlitian ini sebanyak 250 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian adalah Psychological well being mahasiswa Universitas Borneo Tarakan termasuk dalam kategori sedang, psychological well being mahasiswa berada di kategori sedang dimana artinya mahasiswa Universitas Borneo Tarakan cukup memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis atau  Psychological Well-Being selama perkuliahan daring saat pandemic Covid-19. Namun di satu sisi selama pandemic proses pembelajaran daring/online, mahasiswa banyak mengalami kesulitan. Adanya kesulitan-kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran ini akan mengakibatkan munculnya Learning loss.

AbstractA good level psychological well-being is important for inmates’ prerelease to have a good function in their new surroundings and as a predictor of resilience. Women inmates who will be release can have psychologicall distress that have negative consequences to their level of psychological well-being. The aim of this research is to see psychological well-being in inmates’ during their prerelease. This is a descriptive and quantitative research using 42-item Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. The respondents were 33 inmates’ during their prerelease time in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Klas IIA Sukamiskin Bandung (Women Prison in Sukamiskin Bandung) and were taken using accidental sampling in non-random sampling method. The data then were analyzed by using distribution of frequency in the percentations. The level of psychological well-being was divided into three categories: high, middle, and low psychological well-being, and the result of this research shows that most of the inmates’ have moderate level of psychological well-being. High scores were mostly found in positive relation to others dimension and low scores were mostly found in self-acceptance dimension.Keyword: prerelease, psychological well-being, inmates AbstrakPsychological well-being yang baik diperlukan warga binaan menjelang pembebasan agar dapat memaksimalkan potensi untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan masyarakat dan sebagai prediktor tingkat resiliensi. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi, sebagian warga binaan wanita menjelang pembebasan merasakan tekanan psikologis yang berpengaruh negatif terhadap psychological well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat psychological well being warga binaan menjelang masa pembebasan. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan alat ukur 42-item Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. Jumlah sampel 33 warga binaan menjelang bebas di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Klas IIA Sukamiskin Bandung yang dipilih dengan metode non-random sampling melalui teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data berupa persentasi distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar psychological well-being warga binaan menjelang pembebasan dalam kategori sedang. Skor dalam kategori tinggi paling banyak ditemukan pada dimensi hubungan positif dengan orang lain, sedangkan skor dalam kategori rendah paling banyak ditemukan pada dimensi penerimaan diri.Kata kunci: masa kebebasan, psychological well-being, warga binaan pemasyarakatan

The purpose of present study was to find out correlation between the Adjustment and their Psychological well-being among of Call center employees. The said sample was 240 both males and females in equal numbers was selected through random sampling. Adjustment Inventory &Psychological well-being Inventory are tailor-made instruments, having sufficient reliability and validity. For the purpose of analysis, The Karl-Pearson „r‟ technique was used. Present study reveals the result that there is significant Positive correlation between the Adjustment and Psychological well-being among of Call center employees. The authors suggest that there is a need to explore the rural and the urban correlation in the line of above study.

Self-compassion involves being touched by and open to one’s own suffering, not avoiding or disconnecting from it, generating the desire to alleviate one’s suffering and to heal oneself with kindness. Self-compassion also involves offering nonjudgmental understanding to one’s pain, inadequacies, and failures, so that one’s experience is seen as part of the larger human experience. This chapter will provide an overview of theory and research on self-compassion and its link to psychological well-being, which is the goal of clinical practice. It will discuss what self-compassion is and what it is not (e.g., a form of weakness, selfishness, etc.), and provide empirical evidence to support these distinctions. Finally, it will discuss methods that have been developed to teach individuals how to be more self-compassionate in their daily lives, some clinical implications of self-compassion training, and future directions for research.
