A clinical case of gangrenous pyoderma is described, as well as the difficulty of differential diagnosis and treatment of this disease. We carried out a literature review of the materials of foreign and domestic authors describing the course of gangrenous pyoderma using search engines PubMed, Google Scholar, BioMed Central (55 articles).

Breast angiosarcoma (BAS) is an extremely rare and poorly studied neoplasm, the etiology of primary BAS remains controversial, and secondary BAS is most often radio-induced. Radio-induced breast tumors usually appear 10–20 years after the initial treatment; however, for BAS this period is much shorter and is about 4–7 years. This review presents literature data on the features of the clinic, diagnosis and treatment of BAS, as well as own clinical case observation of radio-induced sarcoma of the left breast, that developed 4 years after the primary breast cancer treatment.

The article reports on the clinical case of a patient with a diagnosis of "Stafne cyst", who was treated in the oncology department No. 8 of the Pavlov PSPbSMU. The features of differential diagnosis and diagnostic measures necessary to clarify the diagnosis are given. The situations when it is possible to avoid additional traumatic tests, as well as indications for the choice of surgical intervention or the possibility of refusing it, are analyzed. The presented data can be useful when creating algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of a Staph cyst and making recommendations on the timing of treatment.

Fuchs syndrome is a particular type of erythema multiforme major; the lesions are only found on the mucosae and specifically affect oral, ocular, and genital mucosae. The cause is not always immediately apparent, which is why this pathology requires a rigorous, detailed clinical examination to eliminate a differential diagnosis. The severity of the symptoms, particularly of oral and ocular symptoms, requires immediate treatment. The treatment of this pathology requires a multiple-drug regime. Through a clinical case study, the objective of this work is to help guide practitioners when diagnosing and treating this pathology as no current consensus exists on these 2 subjects. The authors present the case of a 29-year-old patient who was suffering from a recurring outbreak of Fuchs syndrome, suspected of having been triggered by Mycoplasma pneumoniae. After completing the treatment program based on colchicine and prednisolone, the patient was relieved from pain and has not suffered from any further periodic eruptions of erythema multiforme.

ABSTRACT Dentinal hypersensitivity is a common painful condition of the teeth, associated with the exposure of the dentin to external environment of the mouth. However, little is known about the etiology and predisposing factors, which can compromise management. The aim of this paper is to summarize existing information about epidemiology, mechanisms, etiology, differential diagnosis and treatment. Clinical relevance A better understanding of the etiology and factors involved in dentin hypersensitivity will help the management of the hypersensitivity teeth. A cough is observed by medical practitioners of various specialties, and is among the most common symptoms of the broad range of disorders. The cause of coughing remains unclear in more than half of adults, who visit physicians with complaints of respiratory symptoms. The paper reports the principles of the cough differential diagnosis and treatment in patients with respiratory disorders, including during the pandemic; the cough features, characteristic of pulmonary fibrosis and COVID-19, are discussed. The clinical case of the 47-year-old patient, illustrating the need to use CT not only at onset, during the acute period of the disease, but also during the recovery period in patients with a lingering cough, is discussed as an example of the cough differential diagnosis.
