This study aims to determine the effect of applying good corporate governance and political connections to firm value. The data of this study are secondary data of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. Data were analyzed using panel data estimation. The results of this study indicate that partial corporate governance has a positive and significant effect on firm value, political connection variables have a positive and significant effect on firm value and together corporate governance and political connections have a positive and significant effect on firm value.

This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance and good corporate governance (GCG) on the value of companies in manufacturing companies listed on the stock exchange Indonesia. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of annual report 2016. Population used in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This research uses purposive sampling method with total population of 144 companies and sample of 31 companies. The results show that simultaneously ROA, OPM, NPM, KM, and KI have a positive influence on firm value. While partially ROA  have a positive influence on firm value. While OPM, NPM, KM, and KI have no positive influence on firm value).

This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance and tax planning on corporate value. This research is a type of quantitative research. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id and the company's website. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 22 software. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2013-2017. While the sample of this study was determined by purposive sampling method to obtain a total of 105 data that could be processed.Based on the results of good corporate governance regression analysis which is represented by institusional ownership proxy has a significant effect on firm value and tax planning has a significant effect on firm value.

The success rate of the company is often associated with stock prices. High stock prices will impact increasing the value of the company and increasing market confidence. This study aims to analyze the effect of total asset turnover and profitability on firm value in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2010-2019 period. This study will also examine the good corporate governance variable used as a moderating variable in the research model. The population is food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2010 – 2019. From this population, 26 selected companies became the research sample, as many as 14 companies. Moreover, the number of observations used were 140 observations. The data type used is secondary data and the data analysis technique used in Panel Data Regression Analysis and Interaction Moderating Test with the help of EViews10 software. The results of this study indicate that the alpha 5% profitability has a positive and significant influence on firm value. Meanwhile, total asset turnover has a positive but not significant effect on firm value. This study also indicates that good corporate governance can strengthen the influence of profitability on firm value. However, good corporate governance cannot moderate the effect of total asset turnover on firm value. Keywords: total asset turnover, profitability, firm value and good corporate governance.

This study raises the issue of the influence of political connections and managerial ownership structures on firm value based on the phenomenon of political connection practices that occur in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence of the influence of political connections and managerial ownership structures on the value of the company where the long-term goals of the formation of companies to maximize the value of the company by increasing the prosperity of the owner or shareholders. This research sample uses secondary data derived from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. Samples were taken using purposive sampling and that met the sample selection criteria. The sample used was 87 companies. Data is processed with Eviews 9 software using the General Least Square (GLS) method. The results of the study show that political connections have a positive positive effect on company value. While the managerial ownership structure does not have a significant effect on firm value.

The purpose of the study was to test the influence of Political Connections, Good Corporate Governance, and Financial Performance on Tax Avoidance. The research method used is a quantitative method. The study used data of 45 manufacturing companies listed Index Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2014 to 2018. Samples are taken by the purposive sampling method and which meets the criteria for sample selection. Data is processed with Version 9 Eviews software using the Generalized Least Square (GLS) method. Results show that Political Connection and Financial Performance have a positive influence on Tax Avoidance, this suggests that there are still companies that practice tax evasion. Corporate Governance has no effect on Tax Avoidance, meaning the existence of Corporate Governance is effective in attempting to prevent tax avoidance practices.

<p>This is an event study aims to determine the influence of political connections to firm value as measured by cumulative abnormal return on non-financial sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used secondary data in the form of stock price and annual financial statement obtained the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, Indonesian Capital Market Directory, and other relevant sources. In sampling technique, purposive sampling method is used where 272 non-financial sector companies are selected. The data is examined by using multiple linear regression to measure the influence of political connections on firm value. The findings of this study revealed that political connections have an effect on firm value as measured by cumulative abnormal return on non-financial sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.</p>

This research aims to provide empirically the effect of good corporate governance and environmental performance on environmental disclosures. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. Environmental disclosure variables are measured by scores using the Indonesian Environmental Reporting Index (IER) which consists of 35 disclosure items. The sample in this study was determined by purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id as well as company websites and other sites related to research. The analytical method used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that environmental performance has a significant positive effect on environmental disclosure, Institutional Ownership has no effect on environmental disclosure and the proportion of independent audit committees also has no effect on environmental disclosures

Objective - Financial distress is referred to as a condition in which a company's operations result in insufficient funds to meet its obligations (insolvency). The success or failure of a company greatly depends on the corporate governance of the company. This study aims to identify the relationship between the existence of good corporate governance and the probability of financial distress. Methodology/Technique - This study used secondary data obtained from annual reports from 2009 to 2014. The data is gathered from consumer goods manufacturing companies, that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). The sample includes 10 companies. The method of analysis used is multiple linear regressions. Findings - The results of the study show that institutional ownership and managerial ownership adversely affect the possibility of financial distress. On the other hand, the proportion of commissioners and the number of board of directors have a positive effect on the probability of financial distress. Novelty - This study found that institutional ownership (IO) has an inverse effect on the financial distress of a company. This study aims to determine the effect of debt policy and profitability on firm value moderated by corporate governance. This study uses secondary data on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for a five-year period from 2016 to 2020. The sample selection used the purposive sampling method in order to obtain a total of 195 samples that met the specified criteria. This research was tested using Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of this study provide evidence that debt and profitability policies have a positive effect on firm value.  Corporate is unable to influence the policy of debt to the value of the company, meaning that corporate governance cannot parse the information asymmetry caused by the policy of debt to corporate value and corporate governance strengthen the influence of profitability on firm value, which means that with the increasing corporate governance can strengthen the effect of profitability on firm value.
