This study examines the effect of green innovation on competitive advantage and company performance. A Survey of 200 top managers and owners of SMEs in Indonesia was conducted to gather the data. Structural Equation model was used to examine the measurement model and the structural model. The hypotheses test results state that green innovation has a positive effect on competitive advantages and competitive advantages influence the company’s non-green performance. However, green innovation and green competitive advantage have not proven to influence the company's green performance. Also, green performance has not been proven to affect non-green performance. This study contributes academically to the development of green innovation and company performance literature in the context of SMEs in developing countries, which is under-researched.

Abstract. A growing of health problems in people have been in recent years, as obesity, overweight, diabetes, etc. Active commuting is a way to combat these problems. The objective of this work is to assess the effect of health, comfort and environmental awareness on behaviour intention to practice active commuting, as well as to study the factorial invariance by sex and age. For this purpose, a questionnaire was designed and distributed by means of a convenience sample with snowball effect. 448 responses were obtained from this sample. The specification and estimation of structural equation model with AMOS was designed for the analysis of the data. The results show that the reliability and validity of measurement model and structural model is verified. The results also show that factorial invariance by sex is verified but strict factorial invariance for age is not verified.

Purpose Resources and their analysis are essential to understand better companies’ internal and external dynamics and the weight each has in obtaining competitive advantages over the competition. This study aims to address the law and legal knowledge as a fundamental resource for companies to succeed in the markets to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage. Design/methodology/approach Based upon a sample of 200 managers, a structural equation model was used to validate the hypotheses under study. Findings Results show awareness and managers’ perception of the importance of law as a resource and its advantages for companies and the dichotomy between recognising this importance and not using it consistently. Originality/value Knowing the scope of business law and its growing importance for companies and being academically aware of the inexistence of studies that analyse the law as an individualised resource for companies, this study has a crucial contribution to the interconnection of these two fields – business and law.

Previous studies had examined The Green Building in Indonesia, but none have discussed more thoroughly the relationship between competitive advantage, service quality, company performance, and implications for the company reputation. The purpose of this study is to get a clearer picture of how the Green Building’s competitive advantage together with the excellent service quality provided by the Green Building can improve the performance, and the final result is how the company's reputation is formed. This research was conducted with quantitative techniques by involving 30 building managers of the Green Building in Jakarta. To analyze the relationship between variables, this study used Structural Equation Model approached with SmartPLS. The result of this research is the company’s competitive advantage will have a small effect on the company performance, and company reputation if the service quality provided is not excellent.

Now adays, the world is still struggling in dealing with Covid-19 and all the effects it causes. This condition has many impacts, including on the socio-economic sector and can be overcome by increasing zakat income. Given the extremely dangerous nature of the transmission of the corona virus, WHO recommends the use of digital money. This also applies to the payment of zakat through e-zakat (online payment of zakat). This study aims to determine the factors that influence Muzakki's decision to pay zakat online. This study uses a younger generation as a sample because of its role as the largest internet users who are able to easily learn the latest technology. This research contributes to providing new insights regarding the factors that influence consumers in using e-zakat. This research has implications for amil zakat institutions to innovate through e-zakat services and improve their services so that more consumers can serve so that the number of users will increase. Research instrument used to obtain data was a likert scale questionnaire. The research model used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and analyzed using PLS to test the measurement model and the structural model simultaneously. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, e-wom and religiosity have a positive effect on the decision to pay zakat. Meanwhile, the intention variable proved insignificant in moderating the relationship between e-wom and religiosity towards the decision to pay zakat online. Keywords: e-wom, religiosity, intention, decision

Abstract Background Research relating to Person-centred practice continues to expand and currently there is a dearth of statistical evidence that tests the validity of an accepted model of person-centred practice. The Person-centred Practice Framework is a leading model of practice and this study aims to examine it statistically. Methods A cross sectional survey design using a standardized tool was used to assess a purposive sample (n=1283, 31.8%) of multi-disciplinary health professionals across both Northern and Southern Ireland. Survey items scores were summed to provide construct scores and included in a structural model to examine the theoretical model of person-centred practice. Full ethical approval was gained. Results The results were drawn from a multi-disciplinary sample, and representing a broad range of clinical settings. The model explains 60.5% of the total variance. Factor loadings on to the second order latent construct, and fit statistics confirm the acceptability of the measurement model. Statistically significant factor loadings were acceptable. A positive and statistically significant relationship was observed between prerequisites and care environment as well as care processes. Conclusions The study provides statistical evidence to support the Person-centred Practice Framework, with a multidisciplinary sample. The findings help confirm the effectiveness of the PCPI-S and an instrument to measure an internationally renowned model of Person-centred practice.

Abstract Understanding effects on the overall well-being of the communities affected by the Pak Mun Dam construction would fill in the gaps in existing knowledge and facilitate a deeper discussion of the factors that impact overall wellbeing. The Pak Mun Dam was finished in 1994 and from that point on there have been changes affecting local residents. This study attempts to understand the impact of those changes from a well being perspective using primary data collected from residents in villages close to the dam site. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was method for this research analysis. Results from a structural model show that social and economic well-being are important factors that impact the overall well-being of the affected residents from the Pak Mun Dam area. Furthermore, we discuss how information from 20 items within seven dimensions of the well-being measurement model can be used to develop more efficient strategies and policies to increase well-being capital.

Research relating to person-centred practice continues to expand and currently there is a dearth of statistical evidence that tests the validity of an accepted model for person-centred practice. The Person-centred Practice Framework is a midrange theory that is used globally, across a range of diverse settings. The aim of this study was to statistically examine the relationships within the Person-centred Practice Framework. A cross sectional survey design using a standardized tool was used to assess a purposive sample (n = 1283, 31.8%) of multi-disciplinary health professionals across Ireland. Survey construct scores were included in a structural model to examine the theoretical model of person-centred practice. The results were drawn from a multi-disciplinary sample, and represented a broad range of clinical settings. The model explains 60.5% of the total variance. Factor loadings on the second order latent construct, along with fit statistics, confirm the acceptability of the measurement model. Statistically significant factor loadings were also acceptable. A positive, statistically significant relationship was observed between components of the Person-centred Practice Framework confirming it’s theoretical propositions. The study provides statistical evidence to support the Person-centred Practice Framework, with a multidisciplinary sample. The findings help confirm the effectiveness of the Person-Centred Practice Index for-Staff as an instrument that is theoretically aligned to an internationally recognised model for person-centred practice.

With the objective of obtaining a predictive model of the intention of stay applicable to the companies subordinated to the the local Business Group in the province of Artemisa, Cuba, the investigation consisted of the application of a questionnaire to 353 workers of 8 companies that were derelict in their corporate purpose. The results obtained support the hypotheses proposed since both the affective organizational commitment, the normative organizational commitment and the organizational commitment of continuity are significantly and positively related to the intention of permanence (r = 0.68, r = 0.55, r = 0.44, with p < 0.01), R2 = 0.552. The AMOS software is used to obtain the measurement model and the structural model as well as for the equations (CMIN/DF = 1.978, CFI = 0.972, SRMR = 0.043, RMSEA = 0.062, PClose = 0.084).

PurposeGrowing public concern about the natural environment is rapidly transforming the competitive landscape and forcing firms to adopt green innovation strategies. Many manufacturing firms have recognized the concept of green innovation, though there has been relatively little research on considerations of its driver and effect. The purpose of this paper is to empirically develop and test a theoretical model that analyzes how organizational green culture (OGC) influences green performance and competitive advantage. Specifically, this model explains how green innovation mediates these relationships.Design/methodology/approachThe paper collected data from 327 manufacturing firms of different industry sectors in Taiwan. Structural equation modeling with AMOS 11 software was applied to analyze the data. Data on specific environmental innovation issues at the firm level are not usually available from published sources, so this paper uses a questionnaire. The questionnaire is developed based on the literature.FindingsThe findings of this paper suggest that OGC significantly predicted green performance and competitive advantage, respectively. Moreover, the results show that both green innovation completely mediates between OGC and green performance, and that it has a partially mediating effect on the relationship between organization green culture and competitive advantage under environmental pressure.Research limitations/implicationsThis study has some limitations that point to the future lines of research. Perhaps, the biggest limitation of the study is that the data are from a single country, which may hamper generalization. This study is also limited in that it is based on cross-sectional data. A final limitation is the origin of organizational culture vs employee attitude culture.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the existing literature on organizational culture and innovation by considering green environmental concerns, which have not been empirically explored. This study also offers a unique theoretical argument describing the relationships by considering the mediating effect of green innovation strategy.
