Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa modern dressing memiliki efektifitas terhadap proses penyembuhan luka diabetes bellitus tipe 2.Kata kunci: Luka, DM Tipe 2, Modern Dressing   ABSTRACTDiabetic wound are the chronic wounds that are difficult to cure. Diabetic wounds originate from complications of diabetes mellitus. Diabeteic wound are mostly implementation is amputation  and have impact on the psychology of patients. Long time a wound treatment has deficiencies, causes pain, raises new wound, high risk of infection. New methods of modern dressing wound care tecniques where wound will be made moisture balance or moiist because it will facilitate chemokines and cytokines for cell growth in wounds. Therefore this study aims to determine the effectiviness of modern dressing on the wound healing process of  type 2 diabetes mellitus.  This type of research uses the Pre Postest With Control Group Desig for a sampling group conducted at Cirebon Wound Care Center using accidental sampling. Objective. To study the impact of estrogens and liposomes on course of healing process in purulent wounds of soft tissues in experiment. Маterials and methods. Еxperimental investigation was done on 21 sheep. In the laboratory animals purulent-inflammatory process was simulated. Тhe laboratory animals were distributed into two groups: a control - 6 sheep and investigated - 15. All the animals obtained conventional therapy. In laboratory animals of the investigated group estrogens and liposomes were added to complex of the conventional treatment measures. The healing process course was controlled, using cytological, biochemical, planimetric and mathematic-statistical methods of investigation. Results. Application of combined estrogen-liposomal therapy in complex treatment of experimental purulent wound of soft tissues have enhanced the levels of оxyprolene, ribonucleic and deoxyribonucleic acids in the wound area, raised a value of estradiol/testosteronic index, accelerated the wound cleansing, the granulations creation and shortened the wound healing process by (2.12 ± 0.24) days. Conclusion. Including of estrogens and liposomes into the treatment complex for experimental purulent wound of soft tissues enhances cellular biosynthetic activity, activity of reparative processes in the wound area, accelerates the wound cleansing and the granulation creation, shortens the wound healing process and may be applied for improvement of the purulent wounds treatment in elderly and senile patients.

The wound healing process of the soft tissue aims to accelerate the closing of the wound by recurring, restoring the function, and minimizing the scar tissue. This process has to occur in the surgery process to obtain better-wound healing. The aim of this study was to know the stimulation effect of the wound dressing to accelerate the wound healing process of the soft tissue using Collagen (amino acid) and Amnion (proteinase inhibitors). This true experimental study was done to 36 mice (Sprague Dawley) that were divided into three different groups, two groups were the treatment groups and one group was the control group. Each group was adapted in Pathology Laboratory of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bogor Agricultural University. All of the mice were injured on the skin by incising the right side of the back for 2 cm in length and 4 mm in depth and then cleaned with 0.9% NaCl solution. To the first group of treatment, the wound was applicated by Amnion, and the second group was applicated by Collagen. Each 4 mice of all group were a termination by ether and encryption on the wounded tissue was conducted on day 3rd, 7th, and 14th. Assessment for a number of fibroblast and collagen synthesis on the wound of back tissue was conducted with the histological examination by painted using hematoxylin-eosin. The results concluded that Collagen application was influencing the mean of fibroblast higher than Amnion, and the lowest was controlled with statistically significant. The mean of collagen used Collagen lower than Amnion, and the lowest was control with statistically significant. It could be concluded that collagen application was preeminent in increasing the productivity of the fibroblast, as well as in developing forms of the collagen synthesis compared with Amnion and control.

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers were common diabetes complication that progressively growth globally. The effectivity of Manuka honey in wound healing process was huge published currently. Modern dressing and Manuka honey may not affordable and cost effective since these dressings were not produced originally in Indonesia. In addition, the published study of Indonesian honey is still lack. Therefore, we conducted this study to investigate the effectivity of Indonesian honey in diabetic foot ulcers healing process. Method: This study design was observational case study. This study was conducted among type 2 diabetes with diabetic foot ulcers in Griya Afiat Homecare and ETN Center in Makassar City, Indonesia from March to June 2014. The Bates Wound Assessment Tool (BWAT) were used to collect the score of diabetic foot ulcer healing process regarding wound size, depth, edges, undermining, necrotic tissue type, necrotic amount, granulation, epithelization, exudate type and amount, surrounding skin color, edema and induration. Descriptive, Independent t-test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Wilcoxon signed rank test were conducted appropriately. Results: In total, 10 type 2 diabetes patients with diabetic foot ulcers were participated. The factors associated with wound healing process were diabetes treatment (t= 2.44, p= 0.041) and primary dressing (t= -2.76, p= 0.025). The effect of honey primary dressing was in reducing wound size (p= 0.043), improving necrotic tissue type (p= 0.041), reducing necrotic tissue amount (p= 0.042), increasing granulation (p= 0.038) and epithelization (p= 0.042). In the counterpart, the effect of modern dressing was in improving necrotic tissue type (p= 0.046) and increasing granulation (p= 0.042). Conclusion: Indonesian honey is beneficial on diabetic foot ulcers healing process. Recommendation: Therefore, findings suggest that honey should be considered as the alternative, cost effective and beneficial wound dressing on the diabetic foot ulcers.
