Health is something very precious. Maintaining health can be done in many ways, one of them by keeping your diet. The correct diet will keep your immune system so that it can avoid various diseases. The proper diet will also put the body in a balanced nutrition state, which all need to be nourished. Nutrient requirements include calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C with a mass of 100 grams each. To facilitate the search for nutrients needed, then build a system that can categorize food based on its nutritional status and calculate the average value of nutrients in agglomerative hierarchical clustering using average linkage. Calculation of intermediate linkage methods produces data that has some similarities to the data sought nutrients that can be seen from its index, so precise data are in each group.

Algorithms of agglomerative hierarchical clustering using asymmetric similarity measures are studied. Two different measures between two clusters are proposed, one of which generalizes the average linkage for symmetric similarity measures. Asymmetric dendrogram representation is considered after foregoing studies. It is proved that the proposed linkage methods for asymmetric measures have no reversals in the dendrograms. Examples based on real data show how the methods work.

The latest comprehensive classification of Avena species was established by Malzew in 1929. It has been used by oat workers until today, in spite of the fact that for decades it became gradually outdated partly because new data became available and partly because new species were discovered. This necessitated a new attempt to classify the oats. The present study uses new characters and various numerical taxonomic techniques such as Gower's coefficient of resemblance and eight sequential, agglomerative, hierarchical clustering strategies. Thus 80 different classifications were formed, of which 21 were chosen as admissible. The best classification among the 21 is that which contains maximum information in the information-theoretic sense, i.e., using Eastabrook's model for character analysis. The relationships between the various classifications and the best one are extrapolated through principal coordinate analysis using the information-theoretic correlations between pairs of classifications as measure of distance. As a result, seven groupings were recognized, and canonical analyses were performed on these. Subsequently the canonical loadings were used here as unorthodox diagnoses for the seven groupings, which were then designated as taxa at the sectional category. A formal treatment of these newly established sections is provided in compliance with the rules of nomenclature. Finally, interrelationships between species are also studied using overlapping clusters based on the method of maximal complete subgraphs of Jardine and Sibson.

The authors of the article have studied the content of the elements of anti-oxidant system (malondialdehyde, catalase, selenium) in tissues of the internal organs (gills, intestine, muscles, liver, swimbladder, scales) in some species of predatory fish (pike Esox lucius (L., 1758), perch Perca fluviatilis (L., 1758), pike-perch Sander lucioperca (L., 1758), catfish Silurus glanis ) widespread in the basin of the Volga river in the Saratov region. The lowest concentration of malondialdehyde in organisms of the studied fish species is observed in fall and winter; the highest - in spring and summer. Catalase activity in gills tissue of a pike raised in 11.8%, cat-fish - 9.1%, pike-perch - 7.5%, perch - 7.8%. In fall (compared to winter) enzyme activity lowering in gonads of pike-perch makes 16.3%, in gonads of perch - 14.4%. In other tissues there were not observed any evident changes of catalase activity. Fish species under consideration are listed according to the average value of selenium concentration in organisms, µg/g: pike (0.208) > catfish (0.207) > pike-perch (0.196) > perch (0.178). According to the average value of the selenium accumulation in the body in different season all the studied species can be placed in the following order, µg/g: winter-pike (0.132) > pike-perch (0.136) > perch and catfish (0.142); spring - pike-perch (0.190) > perch (0.191) > pike (0.208) > catfish (0.209); summer - perch (0.186) > pike-perch (0.190) > catfish and pike (0.203); autumn - perch (0.193) > pike-perch (0.268) > > catfish (0.274) > pike (0.289).

Resuming published and own data, a revision of classification of Chaetognatha is presented. The family Sagittidae Claus & Grobben, 1905 is given a rank of subclass, Sagittiones, characterised, in particular, by the presence of two pairs of sac-like gelatinous structures or two pairs of fins. Besides the order Aphragmophora Tokioka, 1965, it contains the new order Biphragmosagittiformes ord. nov., which is a unique group of Chaetognatha with an unusual combination of morphological characters: the transverse muscles present in both the trunk and the tail sections of the body; the seminal vesicles simple, without internal complex compartments; the presence of two pairs of lateral fins. The only family assigned to the new order, Biphragmosagittidae fam. nov., contains two genera. Diagnoses of the two new genera, Biphragmosagitta gen. nov. (type species B. tarasovi sp. nov. and B. angusticephala sp. nov.) and Biphragmofastigata gen. nov. (type species B. fastigata sp. nov.), detailed descriptions and pictures of the three new species are presented.

Automatic classification of tuna image needs a good segmentation as a main process. Tuna image is taken with textural background and the tuna’s shadow behind the object. This paper proposed a new weighted thresholding method for tuna image segmentation which adapts hierarchical clustering analysisand percentile method. The proposed method considering all part of the image and the several part of the image. It will be used to estimate the object which the proportion has been known. To detect the edge of tuna images, 2D Gabor filter has been implemented to the image. The result image then threshold which the value has been calculated by using HCA and percentile method. The mathematical morphologies are applied into threshold image. In the experimental result, the proposed method can improve the accuracy value up to 20.04%, sensitivity value up to 29.94%, and specificity value up to 17,23% compared to HCA. The result shows that the proposed method cansegment tuna images well and more accurate than hierarchical cluster analysis method.

The fuzzy clustering algorithm has become a research hotspot in many fields because of its better clustering effect and data expression ability. However, little research focuses on the clustering of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets (HFLTSs). To fill in the research gaps, we extend the data type of clustering to hesitant fuzzy linguistic information. A kind of hesitant fuzzy linguistic agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithm is proposed. Furthermore, we propose a hesitant fuzzy linguistic Boole matrix clustering algorithm and compare the two clustering algorithms. The proposed clustering algorithms are applied in the field of judicial execution, which provides decision support for the executive judge to determine the focus of the investigation and the control. A clustering example verifies the clustering algorithm’s effectiveness in the context of hesitant fuzzy linguistic decision information.

The study applied the method of hydrological season identification in a time series of river total and base flows and in groundwater levels. The analysis covered a series of daily measurements from the period 2008–2017 in nine catchments located in different geographical regions of Poland. The basis of the classification of hydrological seasons, previously applied for river discharges only, was the transformation of the original variables into a series reflecting three statistical features estimated for single-name days of a year from a multiyear: average value, variation coefficient, and autocorrelation coefficient. New variables were standardized and after hierarchical clustering, every day of a year had a defined type, valorizing three features which refer to quantity, variability, and the stochastic nature of total and base river flow as well as groundwater stage. Finally, sequences of days were grouped into basic (homogenous) seasons of different types and transitional seasons including mixed types of days. Analysis indicated determinants of types, length, and frequency of identified hydrological seasons especially related to river regime, hydrogeological and hydrometeorological conditions as well as physiographical background were directly influenced by geographical location. Analysis of the co-occurrence of the same types of hydrological seasons allowed, in some catchments, periods of synchronic alimentation (groundwater and base flow, mainly in the cold half-year) and water shortages (all three components, mainly in the warm half-year) to be identified.

Mineralization of various degrees was found in the brains of 79 (59%) of 134 cynomolgus monkeys ( Macaca fascicularis). There was no age dependency in the incidence or severity, nor were there any abnormalities in growth, weight gain, or neurologic signs, although a slight sex difference was observed. The lesions, which were basophilic and intensely positive for periodic acid-Schiff or von Kossa stain, occurred in the vascular walls of the globus pallidus in two types: globoid bodies with prominent concentric lamellar structures in and around the arteriolar and venular wall (type A) and fine granules in the media of small or medium-sized arteries (type B). Electron microscopic examination revealed dense deposits in the degenerated media of small or medium-sized arteries or the thickened walls of the arterioles. X-ray microanalysis demonstrated the presence of calcium, phosphorus, iron, zine, magnesium, and aluminum.
