The presented work was directed to develop the dynamic performance of an electro-hydraulic proportional system (EHPS). A mathematical model of the EHPS is presented using electro- hydraulic proportional valve (EHPV) by Matlab-Simulink, which facilitates the simulation of the hydraulic behavior inside the main control unit. Experimental work is done and the closed loop system is designed using the linear variable displacement transducer sensor (LVDT). The controller of the system is an Arduino uno, which is considered as a processor of the system. The model is validated by the experimental system. The study also presents a real time tracking control method, based on pulse width modulation, by controlling the speed of the actuator to achieve the position tracking with minimum error and low transient time, by applying the constant input signal 50mm the transient time was 0.9 seconds and the error 1.8%.

A driving system for gearless traction machine plays an very important role in controlling elevator’s running. And its performances have a direct effect on the elevator’s performance. On the basic of the mathematical model of the gearless permanent magnetic synchronous machine (PMSM), id=0 vector control method and space vector pulse width modulation method are used in the control system. Then making a simulation on the system designed by MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation results show that the control method is feasible.

This paper presents simplified control strategy of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation method including over modulation region with linear transfer characteristic for cascaded H-bridge inverters. Because of large number of switching states of the cascaded H- Bridge inverter, the over modulation operation is very complex. And also requires incorporation of both under modulation and over modulation algorithms. The proposed control method is effective in terms of selecting the optimal switching states with reduced computational complexity using simplified linear calculations which makes it easier for digital implementation. The performance of the proposed method is simulated and tested experimentally through Spartan 3A FPGA processor for five level Cascaded H-bridge Inverter. The simulation results and harmonic analysis of voltage and current at various modulation indexes as are presented which are in well agreement.

In view of the shortages time lag existing in traditional digital low-pass filter in Active Power Filter (Active Power Filter, APF), this paper proposes to adopt slipped-window integrator to realize low-pass filter in harmonic current detection. The current tracking control uses Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation method. Meanwhile, the repetitive predictor is applied so as to improve the real-time performance of the compensation current tracking control. Built a three-phase shunt active power filter simulation model in Matlab/Simulink environment and take experiment under the low pressure condition. The results show that slipped-window integrator and deadbeat current mothod can acquire good dynamic response performance as well as high precision.

As a simple and effective force tracking control method, impedance control is widely used in robot contact operations. The internal control parameters of traditional impedance control are constant and cannot be corrected in real time, which will lead to instability of control system or large force tracking error. Therefore, it is difficult to be applied to the occasions requiring higher force accuracy, such as robotic medical surgery, robotic space operation and so on. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a model reference adaptive variable impedance control method, which can realize force tracking control by adjusting internal impedance control parameters in real time and generating a reference trajectory at the same time. The simulation experiment proves that compared with the traditional impedance control method, this method has faster force tracking speed and smaller force tracking error. It is a better force tracking control method.

The study aims at the analysis of vector control asynchronous electric drive systems. For comparison and evaluation, mathematical models of systems are implemented in the environment of simulation modeling Matlab Simulink. The evaluation criteria selected were: complexity of implementation, energy efficiency of the inverter, accuracy of speed maintenance, torque ripple, reaction speed of the system to disturbances from the side of the drive mechanism, impact on the supply network. Vector control systems by ensuring the maintenance of accuracy of the moment in the entire range of speed control are more widespread. The study of vector systems, the formation of the stator voltage vector in which is carried out using pulse-width modulation. The signal organization during the study was carried out by several methods. At the initial stage, the signal was formed due to relay-vector control in a closed loop for monitoring the instantaneous values of current errors without forced modulation; at the next stage of the study, the signal was generated using sinusoidal pulse-width modulation based on a comparison of control signals with some reference vector, the final stage became a spatial-vector modulation method.
