ABSTRAKTeknologi komunikasi wireless semakin pesat mengalami perkembangan. Nilai terbesar packet loss sebesar 20% yaitu pada lokasi pengukuran terjauh 14,3 km.Kata Kunci: delay, packet loss, RSSI, CINR, throughput, CPE, WiMAX . ABSTRACTWireless communication technologies have evolved more rapidly. Indonesia frequency allocation used for the WiMAX  network is 3.3 to 3.4 GHz. This study was conducted with the performance measurement process that is Himax 331 WiMAX  radio - SS. Process measurement is made between the CPE and base station sector antennas at a height of 45 m in 1200. Locations measurements performed in several areas of Bandung predetermined. The measurement results show the highest CINR value is 31 dB with 64 QAM modulation - ¾ and the lowest value of 10 dB with BPSK modulation half. The highest RSSI value of -54 dBm being the lowest and -89 dBm RSSI value. The highest throughput for streaming video services by 1000.8 kbps ( downlink ) with 64 QAM modulation - ¾. The lowest value was 56.247 ms delay in LOS conditions and the highest was 139.5 ms in NLOS conditions. The greatest value by 20 % packet loss is the farthest measurement locations 14.3 km.Keywords: delay, packet loss, RSSI, CINR, throughput, CPE, WiMAX .

Data communication with aircraft presents unique technical challenges and these challenges are more pronounced when the aircraft are travelling over oceanic or other remote areas. When in populated areas, systems are available that can support high speed data services, one Gigabit per second (Gbps) and beyond via, terrestrial ground stations. However no such systems exist to provide airborne communications with high bandwidths among aircraft and between aircraft and the ground in more remote regions. Passengers will expect data service on the aircraft similar to what they typically experience on the ground. Multimedia activities, such as video streaming, are very bandwidth intensive and the provision of these services presents a serious technical challenge. On the ground, fibre optic cables are the method of choice for the provision of high speed data service, and in contrast, an airborne high speed data communications solution will need to be a wireless one.

10G Ethernet technology has been widely used in modern high speed communication system. As a result, program design for high-speed data capture on 10G Ethernet, as the first and important step in network monitor and analysis system, has become a challenging task. This paper proposed a high-speed data capture method based on WinCap and shared memory pool technology and has features of high speed, low packet loss rate, high efficiency and good portability. The system test and data analysis proved that the proposed method in this paper can effectively capture the data at speed of 6Gbps and stably keep the packet loss rate under 0.03%.

Abstract This paper presents results of research on poppers used as electrical connectors connecting fragments of textile signal lines. These lines can be used in intelligent clothing for connecting electronic modules implemented in it. Intelligent (smart) clothing can be used, among others, in the health monitoring of the elderly, newborn babies, or people working in hazardous conditions, for example, firefighters and soldiers. The aim of the present study was to examine the usefulness of poppers, widely used in clothing, as electrical connectors connecting parts of the textile signal lines designed for transmission of high-speed digital signals. The paper presents examples of measured parameters characterizing transmission properties of two fragments of the coplanar, textile transmission line connected to each other using conventional poppers. The presented measurement results contain the so-called s parameters, characteristic impedance of the poppers, and eye measurements characterizing distortions of digital signals passing through the tested line. In the article, the effect of temperature and humidity of air surrounding the tested poppers on their characteristic impedance was also presented. This property and its stability are important in signal lines designed for high-speed data transmission.

Abstract: This research paper provides an insight into the comparison between VoLTE and 4G. 4G Wireless Systems or Fourth generation wireless system is a packet switched wireless system with wide area coverage and high throughput. It is designed to be cost effective and to provide high spectral efficiency. VoLTE (voice over LTE) supports voice calls over 4G LTE network. With advanced VoLTE technology, the 4G network now provides high-speed data services, high-quality voice and video calls at affordable price. This paper first presents the challenges and benefits of both 4G and VoLTE and then compares them with consideration of different points. Keywords: GSM, LTE, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA, RAN

Abstract Data centers are facing huge bottlenecks due to the emergence of high-speed data applications. To meet speed requirements, it is proposed to shift the current technologies toward optical communication-enabled data center (DC) devices. This paper discusses the recently proposed optical switch designs and proposes a novel switch design for optical DCs. The architectures proposed in the literature are compared in terms of notable parameters. Finally, proposed switch performance is measured in the network using Monte Carlo simulation and results are obtained in terms of packet loss probability, under a random traffic model while considering both nonperiodized and prioritized packets.
