This article presents a bibliometric analysis of publications on blended learning in higher education. The analysis is grounded on statistics obtained from the online Scopus database on 11 December 2019. The study used Microsoft Excel to conduct a frequency analysis, VOSviewer for data visualization, and Harzing’s Publish or Perish for citation metrics and analysis. In total 1,064 valid documents were analyzed, based on keyword search results for “blended learning”, “perception”, “achievement”, “engagement”, “higher education” and “bibliometric analysis”. This article reports descriptive and content analysis on document type and source type. Analysis shows that number of publications per year increased from 2000 to 2018. English is the most widely used language for publications, and most publications are from the social sciences. The United States contributes the most publications. The most active journals, influential institutions, citation metrics and highly cited articles are listed. Network visualization maps demonstrate keyword analysis of author keywords; co-authorship by country and author; number of authors per document; citations by country and document; co-occurrence of all keywords; and, lastly, co-citation by cited sources. The visibility of work on blended learning in highly cited journals in the past two decades reveals that blended learning has gained significant attention among educators and researchers. Future research could include systematic literature reviews or other mapping tools, such as HistCite.

The term e-wallet were introduced way back in 1990. First documents regarding e-wallet published in 1995. The research on e-wallet rises drastically after 2017 whereby most people get exposure to the advantages of e-wallet. Banks in Malaysia start offering e-wallet services and e-wallet account since 2018. Thus, the plan of this investigation is analyzing the literature published in the field of e-wallet which are listed in Scopus. The data were exported from Scopus using various methods. Publish or Perish software used to calculate Citation metrics, VOS Viewer used to visualize the data to show the relationship. One of the main tools used is Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis. Standard bibliometric analysis method applied. Based on the search on Scopus, 127 documents were founded in the database, majority of the documents published in English, the number of publications increases after year 2017. One of the main keywords used in the field of e-wallet are digital payment and electronic wallet. Most research related to e-wallet conducted in India while the most cited paper is from France. This study helps to present the development of the scientific literature in e-wallet and helps to identify areas and trends of current research which will lead to potential future research.

BACKGROUND Digital health is growing at a rapid pace, and digital health literacy has tremendous potential to promote health outcomes, bridge the digital divide, and improve health inequalities. OBJECTIVE The purposes of this study are to conduct a systematic bibliometric analysis on the field of dig-ital health literacy and to understand the research context and trends in this field. METHODS A total of 1,955 scientific publications were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) core col-lection. Institutional cooperation, journal co-citation, theme bursting, keyword co-occurrence, author cooperation, author co-citation, literature co-citation and references in the field of digi-tal health literacy were analyzed using the VOSviewer and CiteSpace knowledge mapping tools. RESULTS The results demonstrated that the United States was the leader in number of publications and citations in this field. The University of California System was first in terms of institutional contributions. The Journal of Medical Internet Research led in number of publications, cita-tions and co-citations. Research areas in the field of digital health literacy mainly include the definition and scale of health literacy, health literacy and health outcomes, health literacy and the digital divide, and the influencing factors of health literacy. CONCLUSIONS We summarize research progress in the field of digital health literacy and reveal the context, trends, and trending topics of digital health literacy research through statistical analysis and network visualization. Our work can serve as a fundamental reference and directional guide for future research in this field.

Abstract Environmental and urban sciences have shown that brownfield problems have a significant impact on human behavior and its environment. Understanding the sustainable planning and redevelopment of brownfields can therefore help governments and financial partners to consider sustainable urban policies as a key priority. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research publications on the sustainable redevelopment of brownfields through the Scopus database since 1990. The redevelopment of brownfields having an essential role in urban sustainability, so research trends on sustainable redevelopment brownfields in previous literature are revealed. To our knowledge, the bibliometric analysis of the term sustainable redevelopment of brownfields is not yet an accentuated field of research. To do this, this study aims to fill this gap by offering a broad overview of the bibliometric analysis of the literature relating to this term. Brownfield and contaminated land are used as a keyword in the article titles taken from the Scopus database on September 07, 2021. A total of 7197 scientific articles (Scopus) were reviewed to show how the research on " brownfields or contaminated land” has emerged and developed. Social media analysis (VOSviewer) was used for data visualization and Harzing's Publish or Perish is used for metrics and citation analysis. The results showed an increase in the growth rate of the literature on sustainable brownfield redevelopment since 1990, particularly from 2011 to 2020. Research related to the sustainable redevelopment of brownfields has involved various authors and is published in various languages. There are 160 authors from 126 countries and 160 institutions. The China is the largest contributor to this study, followed by the United States and United Kingdom. The Chemosphere Journal has published the most articles on the sustainable redevelopment of brownfields. Although our results also indicate that studies on the sustainable redevelopment of brownfields are mainly carried out in the field of environmental sciences. Some avenues for future research have been analyzed in three directions so that sustainable development can easily be integrated into a brownfield redevelopment project.

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study presents a bibliometric analysis of good governance research publications from the Scopus database from 1984 to 2020. Background Problems: Since ​​good governance has an essential and central role in organizations, the research trends on good governance in the literature need to be revealed. Novelty: To the best of our knowledge, bibliometric analysis for the term good governance is not yet available. This paper aims to fill in the gap by providing a broad overview of the bibliometric analysis of the literature relating to this term. Research Methods: Good governance is used as a keyword in the titles of articles taken from the Scopus database on November 4, 2020. There were 1,954 documents analyzed. Microsoft Excel is used for frequency analysis, the VOSviewer app is used for the data’s visualization, and Harzing's Publish or Perish is used for citation metrics and analysis. Finding/Results: The results showed an increase in the growth rate of good governance literature from 1984 to 2020, particularly since 2011. Conclusion: Research related to corporate governance has involved various authors, and is published in various languages. There are 159 authors from 123 countries and 160 institutions. The United States is the most significant contributor to this study, followed by the United Kingdom and Indonesia. The International Review of Administrative Sciences has published the most papers on good governance. Our findings indicate that studies on good governance are mostly carried out in the field of social sciences.

Abstract Background: Cannabis refers to a flowering plant in the family Cannabaceae, which has been used medically, recreationally, and industrially. The history of cannabis has been both long and complex, however, the last few decades have seen a large increase in the volume of literature on this topic. The objective of the present bibliometric analysis is to capture the characteristics of peer-reviewed publications on the topic of cannabis and cannabinoid research.Methods: Searches were run on April 02, 2021, and results were exported on the same day to prevent discrepancies between daily database updates. Only “article” and “review” publication types were included; no further search limits were applied. The following bibliometric data were collected: number of publications (in total and per year), authors and journals; open access status; journals publishing the highest volume of literature and their impact factors; language, countries, institutional affiliations, and funding sponsors of publications; most productive authors; and most highly-cited publications. Trends associated with this subset of publications were identified and presented. Bibliometric networks were constructed and visualized using the software tool VOSviewer.Results: A total of 29 802 publications (10 214 open access), published by 65 109 authors were published in 5474 journals from 1829 to 2021. The greatest number of publications were published over the last 20 years. The journal that published the largest number of publications was Drug and Alcohol Dependence (n=705). The most productive countries included the United States (n= 12 420), the United Kingdom (n=2236), and Canada (n=2062); many of the most common intuitional affiliations and funding sponsors also originated from these three countries.Conclusions: The number of publications collectively published on the topic of cannabis follows an upward trend. Over the past 20 years, the volume of cannabis research has grown steeply, which can be largely attributed to the existence of a large amount of funding dedicated to research this topic. Future research should continue to investigate changes in the publication characteristics of emerging cannabis research, especially as it is expected that the body of publications on this topic is expected to rapidly grow.

BACKGROUND Research on Graves’ ophthalmopathy(GO) increased remarkably in recent two decades, however, few studies provided statistical analysis to these publications. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study is to detect and analyze the emerging trend and collaboration networks on GO. METHODS GO-related publications were collected from 1999 to 2019 from the Web of Science Core Collection Database. The publications were collected after restricting the publications with the category of article or review and language of English. The content of bibliometric analysis included changes in the annual number of publications, journals, authors, countries and institutions, keywords, and references. RESULTS There were 3051 publications collected which met the criterion. The number of annual publications had an increasing trend over the last 20 years. THYROID published 183 assays in total related to GO and ranked first. SMITH TJ had the largest number of publications on GO(83). The United States had the largest number of articles(784) and highest centrality(0.18) among the countries that had published essays related to GO. The UNIV PISA, which belonged to Italy, contributed 114 articles that are ahead of other institutions on the number of articles related to GO. The most recent burst keywords (proliferation, rituximab, and selenium) and references may provide clues on an emerging trend of research and clinical decision. CONCLUSIONS This bibliometric analysis highlight countries, institutions, and authors which contributed to the publications on GO. And the possible emerging trends on GO research extracted from burst keywords and references may provided the clues on clinical decision making and future research.

Abstract Objectives St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) has been used in traditional medicine for centuries for different conditions, including kidney and lung ailments, insomnia, depression, and to aid wound healing. The objective of the present bibliometric analysis is to capture the characteristics of research publications on the topic of St. John’s wort. Methods Searches were run on April 09, 2021, and results were exported on the same day to prevent discrepancies between daily database updates. Trends associated with this subset of publications were identified and presented. Bibliometric networks were constructed and visualized using the software tool VOSviewer. Results A total of 1,970 publications were published by 5,849 authors across 961 journals from 1859 to 2021. Beginning in the late 1990s, a steep increase was found in the volume of publication on this topic. The journal that published the largest number of publications was Phytotherapy Research. The most productive countries included Germany and the United States. Conclusions The present study provides the characteristics of the St. John’s wort literature that allows understanding of the past, present, and future of research in this area. It is a useful evidence-based framework on which to base future research actions and academic directions.

Background. This bibliometric analysis is aimed at reviewing the research pattern on the use of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) in dentistry using various citation metrics. Methods. A well-curated search was conducted on Elsevier’s Scopus database for the relevant literature on SDF published between 1969 and 2021. Bibliographic information such as information related to citations, bibliographic data, abstracts, keywords, and other relevant information was extracted using different combinations of keywords (“silver diamine fluoride” OR “Silver Diamine Fluorides” OR “Diamine Fluoride” OR “Silver Fluoride”). Analysis and visualization of the selected documents and related data were performed using various tools and software including MS Excel, MS Access, Bibexcel, VOS viewer, Biblioshiny, and Gephi. VOS Viewer was utilized for the Graph Modeling Language (GML) to generate graphical representations of the data. Furthermore, network graphs were generated to assess the various associations between research themes, countries, organizations, authors, journals, and citations. Results. The initial search yielded 662 documents, of which 410 were chosen for analysis. 252 records were deemed irrelevant. The chosen records consisted of journal articles ( n = 351 ), conference papers ( n = 14 ), book chapters ( n = 1 ), and review articles ( n = 44 ). The results showed that there was an upward trend in the research on SDF, and a substantial increase was observed in the citation index after 2014. Researchers from the United States of America, Hong Kong, and Japan were the top contributors, with organizations and authors from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong, leading the way in citations and productivity. Conclusion. The bibliometric analysis provides valuable information regarding the total number of publications on SDF and their citation details. It also identifies the leading countries and organizations involved in the research on SDF and provides a comprehensive analysis of the research trends related to SDF.

Background: Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a chronic condition that requires prompt diagnosis and treatment. To date, no bibliometric analysis on HS exists. Analyzing the top 100 citations is important to understand the characteristics of the most influential studies in the HS research landscape, and to guide future research. Objective: To analyze the top 100 most cited articles on HS using bibliometric analysis. Methods: Searches within Scopus and Web of Science using "Hidradenitis Suppurativa" and "Acne Inversa" were conducted on May 14th, 2020. After excluding non-original articles, data for the top 100 articles were analyzed using R-studio and Bibliometrix. Five independent reviewers identified study topic and design. Results: The top 100 most cited articles on HS were published between 1982 and 2017 with an average of 128.3 citations. The top research topic and design were treatment (40 articles) and randomized controlled trials (9), respectively. 2011 had the highest number of publications (9), and the 2012 article by Gregor B. E. Jemec had the highest citations (439). These articles were from 14 different countries with the United States and Denmark as top countries. 27 journals published these articles with the British Journal of Dermatology (BJD) as the top journal. Denmark had the greatest outside country collaborations. Conclusions: The results of our study showed that HS research is steadily growing with greatest support from the BJD. There is a focus on treatments in HS research with the United States and European countries leading the way. However, greater worldwide research of HS is needed.

Research on the blended learning approach in graduate studies has started since 1997. Thereafter, researchers in various subject areas have widely investigated the term blended learning. This paper thus seeks to analyze scientific literature, especially for graduate studies, published on the blended approach. All the literature published about blended approach in graduate studies was gathered using the Scopus database. The data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Standard bibliometric analysis was used to create the growth of publications and the citation analysis. A total of 801 documents were found based on the search results. Since 2004, the growth rate of literature on blended learning in graduate studies has accelerated radically. Journal articles and conference papers accounted for most of the publications, which were mostly written in English and Spanish. Most of the studies were conducted in the fields of social science and computer science. E-learning, online learning, collaborative learning and flipped classroom were among the most frequently used keywords. Most of the blended learning research in graduate studies was carried out in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. This paper presents the literature's evolution in the blended learning approach in graduate studies and identifies current research interest and the potential future research direction.
