AbstractHuman augmentation is a thriving research field that aims to amplify human abilities through the development of technological improvements as an integral part of the human body. Human augmentation products may be made for anyone, ranging from healthy users wanting to enhance their human abilities to users who face temporary or permanent disabilities, physical impairments, or perilous situations that oblige them to use these products. This article attempts to introduce readers to the domain of human augmentation by providing a thorough formulation of the concept and its related terms to develop a more solid structural basis. Additionally, a categorical and dimensional classification of the field was given. Based on these findings, we then proposed a novel framework in the form of a diagrammatic presentation of both classifications, which could enable product designers to better understand and characterize the type of human augmentation product they are designing by determining its location in the diagram. Finally, the proposed framework was evaluated by introducing and classifying several significant human augmentation products most of which have proven to successfully exceed human abilities.

AbstractThe sentence “form follows function” is the best expression of the relationship between form and function of a product in modern product design. This implies that the form is essential to implement the function while it should be optimized and minimized for the function. Unlike general products, transformable products are designed with the intention to change the function and form of the product according to the situation. This paper presents the types and characteristics of transformable products determined by Phase Model we introduced. We collected 147 transformable product cases and analyzed them according to the change of functions and forms in each product. As a result, we classified the transformable products into four types: partial transformable product, multi-form product, multi-function product and full transformable product. We found that each type has unique characteristics with potential to drive innovation in product design field.

In the paper there is presented a type and characteristic classification of parts based on the variety of product design fulfillment. The analysis of manufacturability coefficients is carried out to which belong coefficients of standardization, unification, repeatability and typification. Their tie with the labour-intensiveness of design-technological pre-production and labour-intensiveness of part machining is defined. There are shown drawbacks of the coefficients considered, for instances, in coefficients of standardization and unification one does not take into account different degrees of influence upon labour-intensiveness of constituents of these coefficients, besides, a repeated account of standard parts takes place. In the coefficients of typification and repeatability both variety of parts and their number in one group of items or one standard representative are not taken into account.

In order to improve the product’s design efficiency, decrease the period of the development cycle and ensure the effectiveness and the controllability of product information, this paper put forward a strategy of product maturity for collaborative design. First, the concept and the applicability of product maturity based on the product life management are discussed. The definition and the classification of product maturity are put forward in the process of product collaborative design. Then, the model of product design has been built based on the definition and the classification of product maturity. Finally, this paper provides the application of product maturity in the collaborative design on the collaborative development platform to verify the effectiveness and the controllability of the strategy.

This article shows the relevance of assessing the complexity of designing cloud software products for informatization enterprises in the production of market software products. A classification of cloud software products is proposed depending on the complexity of their design. The distribution of methods for assessing the complexity of designing cloud software products by design stages is recommended. The features of the approach to assessing the complexity of software product design taking into account the requirements of cloud computing and the tasks of the digital economy are formulated.

The type of lines which from digital hand drawing representation is the central element to the constituted form. At present, there are a few special topics on the structural description of the type of lines. According to the classification of kind of lines which from the basis of painting, integrated using of various lines can create spatial illusions in the plane horizon to achieve the performance of three-dimensional entities. By clarifying features and characteristics of various lines, the digital technology can be quickly generated to design the representation effect and form the graphic design language.

Classification of technical and economical information (CTEI) in computer-integrated manufacture (CIM) ensures an exchange of external and internal information, grouping of objects (articles, products, tools, etc.) according to the similarity of their essential features and their systematization, specialization and co-ordination of work of all parts of the CIM, analytical activity and recognition of products. The product design and technology classifier (DTC) plays an important role in the CTEI system because its application makes an impact on all stages of the product life cycle, from marketing to withdrawal and from operation and part utilization. This paper presents a systematized list of requirements to the CTEI as an object of CIM dataware and a list of problems that are caused by these requirements. The automated design-and-technological classification system (ADTCS) built at the I. V. Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy is an example of how the above problems can be solved. The article gives a description of the computer ADTCS and defines its applications in CIM.

Kata kunci: Postur, NBM, QEC, VOC, Desain Produk Mataram Tunggal Garment is a large company engaged in the production of clothing which already has international standards because its products are exported 100% abroad. The working hours that are carried out every day and the targets that must be achieved trigger various kinds of pressure for workers, one of which is physical pressure.operator workers Warehouse (accessories) have an important role in achieving the company's targets because button accessories, decorative beads and plastic packaging clothes must always be available before the clothes are produced (buttons and beads) or after they are produced or finished (clothes). so ready to export). Work posture is a determining point in analyzing the effectiveness of a job. The risk value of work posture can be assessed using theQuestionnaire Nordic Body Map and the Quick Exposure Checklist and the provision of suggestions for improvement with the product's ergonomic value obtained through the Voice of Customer. Based on the results of the NBM and QEC questionnaires, it can be seen that most of the warehouse operators work posture falls into the classification of the need for research and changes as soon as possible. So that the results of the NBM and QEC questionnaires followed by the VOC from theoperator are warehouse given a recommendation for improvement in the form of antable product design adjustable which is useful for improving the operator's work posture by taking into account the product ergonomics value. Other suggestions are given in the form of providing work SOPs and counseling on understanding the correct working conditions. Keywords: Posture, NBM, QEC, VOC, Product Design
