The Belt and Road (abbreviated as B&R) creates opportunities for the economy and trade development and the improvement of national relations of the Belt and Road countries. Development of service trade plays an important role in the Belt and Road. Henan Province takes the opportunity of B&R to develop the international service industry and makes some achievements. In the new era of development, analyzing the trade competitiveness of international service in Henan Province under the background of the Belt and Road is of great significance to help Henan Province recognize its own strengths and weaknesses in service trade development and make targeted improvements. Studies have shown that the share of international market, revealed, advantages of comparative competitiveness trade and service trade openness of service trade in Henan Province under the background of the Belt and Road are constantly improving, but the overall development level is still low and slow development occurs. We utilize the concept of fuzzy embedded along with Analytic Network Process (ANP) which makes it suitable for managing vagueness of the linguistics information of assessment system. Therefore, in order to further improve the international competitiveness of service trade in Henan Province, it is necessary to optimize the international market share, competitiveness, and degree of openness. Specifically, it is necessary to transform and upgrade the traditional service trade industry, continue to expand the breadth and depth of service trade openness, strengthen the talent team building to improve the quality of employees, and promote the brand construction of service industry to enhance the industry’s development potential.

This paper combs the landscapes of China’s technological innovation practice during the 40 years of reform and opening up, and describes it as “Four-Stage Climbing” that is, “Learning–Introducing–Supplying Stage” (LIS Stage), “Introducing–Imitating–Improving Stage” (III Stage), “Integrating–Boosting–Creating Stage” (IBC Stage), and the “Innovating–Iterating–Promoting Stage” (IIP Stage). It also explains the background of each stage and its specific innovation model. Furthermore, the paper emphasizes the main features, basic experiences and main lessons of China’s technological innovation practice during the past 40 years. This paper demonstrates that with the deepening of innovation-driven development, especially in the field of “Innovation Leads Development” which is valued by the country and industry, at this stage, it is urgent to pay closer attention to the following issues: first of all, the possible changes in mechanisms of international innovation competition and cooperation under the background of potential reconstruction for international governance; secondly, the occurrence and realization mechanism of Leading Scientific and Technological Innovation in the era of science and technology, as well as the structural and institutional mechanisms of the national innovation ecosystem, and also the ecological niche in which the future scientific innovation subject and technological innovation subject should be in the national innovation ecosystem; furthermore, the mechanism of innovation and development for “science-based industries”; last but not the least, the logical construction of innovation and development research under the Chinese context.

In recent years, the primary, secondary and tertiary industries are constantly developing, and the development of the tertiary industry, namely the service industry, is particularly rapid. Since the reform and opening up, people's consumption power has gradually improved. While people have met basic material needs, spiritual needs become a new demand and people hope to be provided with high-quality services. As an important industry in the service industry, hotel development is an important part of the city's economy. The theme hotel is a new type of business for hotels. Unlike ordinary hotels, theme hotels are mainly distributed in cities with relatively developed economies and good geographical environments, and have different themes. This article focuses on the integration of regional culture and theme hotel space design.

The ‘sharing economy’ has become a new buzzword in urban life as digital technology companies set up online platforms to link together people and un- or underutilised assets with those seeking to rent them for short periods of time. While cloaked under the rhetoric of ‘sharing’, the exchanges they foster are usually profit-driven. These economic activities are having profound impacts on urban environments as they disrupt traditional forms of hospitality, transport, service industry and housing. While critical debates have focused on the challenges that sharing economy activities bring to existing labour and economic practices, it is necessary to acknowledge that they also have increasingly significant impacts on planning policy and urban governance. Using the case of Airbnb in London, this article looks at how these sharing or platform economy companies are involved in encouraging governments to change existing regulations, in this case by deregulating short-term letting. This has important implications for planning enforcement. We examine how the challenges around obtaining data to enforce new regulations are being addressed by local councils who struggle to balance corporate interests with public good. Finally, we address proposals for using algorithms and big data as means of urban governance and argue that the schism between regulation and enforcement is opening up new digitally mediated spaces of informal practices in cities.

The development in the trade in services sector is an important way to achieve the transformation of foreign trade development mode of China. However, with the rapid growth of the total value of China's service trade, the export structure has been gradually optimized. The absolute value added of exports has increased rapidly and performed well in countries along the “One Belt And One Road” still, it is highly dependent on a few developed countries and low-technology industries. In particular, the value added rate has been at a low level for a long time, and the development mode of service trade urgently needs to be changed. Therefore, based on the identities of export value added, the marginal Contribution of each index to the Change of value added is measured by the decomposition of Shapley value. The results show that per Capita GDP is the main driving factor for the Change of value added and is relatively stable, but it has been surpassed by the services employment-population after the year of 2013; the Contribution of the national economies technology density and the technical strength of the export sector to the added value of service exports is slight and unstable, and there is a strong negative correlation between them. Therefore, increasing the export of services to the countries along the “Belt and Road”, enhancing the domestic business environment, and improving the quality of the employment-population in the service industry will help accelerate the transformation of China's service trade development mode.

In the context of the continuous opening up of China’s foreign economic development, the coordinated development of foreign trade and industrial transformation and upgrading has always been a hot issue in industrial economics and international trade research. Through empirical analysis to study the impact of foreign trade on industrial transformation and upgrading, this paper finds that there is a long-term dynamic synergy relationship between foreign trade and industrial transformation and upgrading. At the same time, this article also finds that the export value of goods trade and the import value of service trade have a significant impact on industrial transformation and upgrading, while the import value of goods trade and the export value of service trade have no significant impact on the industrial transformation and upgrading. Finally, this article puts forward policy recommendations on the promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading by foreign trade on this basis, so as to provide references for industrial policy makers.

This paper aims to make an empirical analysis of the impact of international competitiveness on China and Mongolia's transportation service trade. First, calculating the RCA competitiveness index, China, Mongolia and some developed countries are compared and analyzed, and then an empirical analysis of the main factors influencing China and Mongolia transportation service trade is conducted, and it is concluded that the port freight export volume increased by 1%, China-Mongolia port freight export volume increased by 0.798%. When the opening of the transportation service industry in China and Mongolia increased by 1%, the export value of the transportation service trade increased by 1.232%. Therefore, the port exports of the two countries have a positive impact on the international competitiveness of the transportation service trade and the opening degree of the transportation service industry in China and Mongolia.
