Islamic Education as a form of teaching and learning based on the principles and values of Islam. Education in Islam is a means towards the improvement of morals. In other words, education in Islam is a function to achieve the sublime morals, while educational institutions are aspects of material to perform these functions. Rearrangement or school improvement is a systematic effort, sustained intended to change the learning process and other related internal conditions in schools, with the goal of achieving educational goals more effectively. Structuring educational institutions as an approach to educational change that has two purposes: 1) to improve student achievement and, 2) to strengthen the school's capacity for managing change. School improvement approach everything should have the ultimate goal kepasa efforts to improve student achievement. Efforts to improve the school should not be based on the state of the schools that have a shortage / low-quality. Due to the increasingly dynamic changing times then the school must continue to improve its quality. Because the schools that already have a good quality can continue to get better again.

The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the administration process of students in order to achieve the objectives of education, the technique used is the study of literature that is collecting some material from journals, books, and others.Administration of students (students) is the entire process of activities planned and planned deliberately and continuous guidance for all students in the relevant educational institutions in order to be able to follow the teaching and learning process (PBM) effectively and efficiently, to achieve educational goals has been established.The purpose of the administration of students in education is generally to regulate all activities related to students so that the teaching and learning process runs effectively and efficiently so that the educational goals can be maximally achieved.In administrative students there is a process or activity carried out by the administrator, namely 1) the activities of the beginning of the school year which include planning, 2) during the school year, 3) the end of the school year.Instruments in student administration are master books, book clusters, student condition lists, student attendance books, school discipline records, student achievement notebooks, and mutation books.

School leaders are faced with enormous responsibilities in addressing student achievement as directed by district, state, and federal mandates. There is a need for school leaders to structure and implement how to acquire, analyze, and commit action from identified gaps in student learning using assessment data. A major part of the process is establishing how teachers use student data to improve teaching and learning opportunities. When discussing school improvement measures and initiatives, one commonly refers to observations, feedback, and professional learning communities as its core components. This chapter provides a framework using a data-driven instructional system (DDIS) as a model for school improvement in establishing a school data culture that can improve student achievement.

Curriculum administration is the whole process of planned and intentional and deliberate activities as well as ongoing guidance to the teaching and learning situation in order to help the achievement of educational goals effectively and efficiently.In this connection, at any school level the principal task of the school is to ensure that there are good teaching programs for students. Because basically the management or management of education focuses on all its efforts on teaching and learning practices (PBM). Choosing the best school is important for some people. the best school benchmark is a school that has a big name brand image in view of the majority of society. Lately more and more educational institutions are emerging, every institution is competing to improve the quality in order to win the competition. Schools that have a good image in the eyes of the public will win this competition. Therefore, brand image is an important thing that must be considered by education providers. This paper aims to determine the steps to form a brand image in Islamic Senior High School of Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo as an effort to improve competitiveness. This study used a qualitative approach with the method of data mining in the form of observation, interview, and tracing of related documents.The results of this study indicate that there are several steps taken by Islamic Senior High School Of Nurul Jadid institution in forming brand image, which is institutional accreditation, inculcate good student behavior, improve student achievement, improve teacher quality and graduate quality, hold excellent activities, with alumni. These steps can improve competitiveness, with school accreditation, good graduate quality, student achievement, and student behavior have attracted the attention of the community to choose to continue their studies in Islamic Senior High School of Nurul Jadid, as well as being a challenge for other institutions.

Three Phases

In this article, I study Islamic education developing in undulated ways from the classic to modern era, including in Indonesia. There is dynamics in two cases: institution and methodology. In term of institutional dynamics, Islamic educational institutions are established through three phases: mosques, Khan Mosques and madrasahs. In Indonesia, madrasahs are formed from teaching and learning in Muslim leaders’ (kiyais) houses, mosques, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and then madrasahs. In term of methodological dynamics, Islamic education in madrasahs is started from lecture, memorization, and open discussion. In Indonesia, the developed methods are lecture given through sorogan, bandongan, and classical ways. Those institutional and methodological dynamics bring about madrasahs have special characteristics as particular Islamic educational institutions. As a result, excellent and model madrasahs have been established recently.

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a meaning and role that is very urgent in order to improve the standard of living and maintain tolerance in a diverse society. The journey of pesantren as an institution that concentrates on the field of education requires mutual attention. The existence of Pesantren is the mandate of the nation, even before the independence of Indonesia, while its implementation at the moment is the implementation of the joint responsibility in accordance with the mandate in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of paragraph IV and Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. The development in Indonesia is carried out by various institutions education both general education and Islamic education that has a different background. The Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution that is built and developed in Indonesia is one type of Islamic education of Indonesia that is both traditional and modern to deepen the knowledge of Islam, live in society and nation. Historically, the development of pesantren in Indonesia has different backgrounds, styles and roles, as well as the struggle to realize national educational goals framed in Islamic religious education. Thus, in this study will be discussed a brief history of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic education in Indonesia as well as about pesantren as educational institutions that have a characteristic nationality.

The aims of this study is to find out the Effectiveness of Teacher Communication in Improving Student Achievement in MTs. Al-Wasliyah Pulo Brayan Medan, Indonesia. This study use qualitative research. The result of this study shows that Based on the reality of teacher communication strategies in improving student achievement in MTs. Al-Wasliyah Pulo Brayan Medan can be put forward several conclusions, as follows: 1. The communication strategy that is widely used by teachers is in the form of reward and punishment. In this case the teacher always gives sanctions to students if they make mistakes. The sanctions can be in the form of a pinch, a punch, or also advice. On the other hand, with regard to giving rewards, most teachers rarely give gifts to their students if they excel. 2.The communication strategy carried out by teachers in educating to improve student achievement will work well, if the school, teachers and parents work together in creating harmony. Harmony between teachers, students and parents is realized first. With the harmony between the school and parents, children will feel calm in the teaching and learning process which will later achieve brilliant achievements.
