The Livable of Housing Development Assistance Program (BAPERLAHU) is a government facility to independently support the implementation of proper housing construction in a healthy and safe environment. The implementation of the housing development assistance program requires community involvement to achieve its main goal, namely to provide habitable housing for low-income people (MBR), the elderly or with disabilities. The purpose of this research is to evaluate how the results of the implementation of the Assistance for the Construction of Livable Houses (BAPERLAHU) program in Mesuji Regency in 2019 and to find out what factors affect the implementation of the program. The research method uses qualitative research, the types of data used are primary and secondary data where data collection uses documentation, observation and interview techniques. The results of the study show that the evaluation of the Livable Housing Development program (BAPERLAHU) in Mesuji Regency in 2019 has been going quite well. In 2019 the Livable Housing Development Assistance (BAPERLAHU) program succeeded in completing 322 unfit for habitation houses (RTLH) in Mesuji Regency. However, there are several factors that affect the implementation of the program, such as the political atmosphere, limited funds allocated, the lack of Community Assistants (TPM), and lack of supervision by the Housing and Settlement Area Office of Mesuji Regency.

The objective of the present study was to identify scientific evidence in the literature regarding management and prevention of skin tears by nurses over the last ten years. This is an integrative review of articles found in the LILACS, SciELO, BDENF, MEDLINE, Scopus, ScienceDirect and PubMed databases, identified with the Portuguese, English and Spanish descriptors for "skin," "friction," or with the keyword "skin tears". After inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, fifteen texts were selected. Scientific evidence demonstrated that the best management results are obtained by covering the tear with the skin flap itself, using octylcyanoacrylate or silicone-based products. Prevention consists of promoting a safe environment, through multidisciplinary work and health education. We conclude that it is the nursing staff's responsibility to avoid infection, trauma of any intensity, pain and bleeding.

The column presents one of the principal narrative sources reflecting the history of the Golden Horde and the Crimean Khanate – the work “Tevarikh-i Desht-i Kiptchak” (“The Chronicle of the Desht-i Kiptchak”, 1638) from under the pen of Abdullah ibn Rizvan. Notwithstanding the presence of works in the scientific literature on this chronicle, they still have a superficial character. The artistic and literary merits of the work have not been fully analyzed. The chronicle is a vivid example of the evolution of the Crimean and Ottoman traditions of verbal creativity and chronology, which later gave impetus to the emergence of other universal histories. The text of “Tevarikh-i Desht-i Kiptchak” is given in the original transliteration from two manuscripts (National Library of France S 874 and The Library of Topkapı Palace Museum B 289) and in Russian translation (author of transliteration and translation – R. R. Abduzhemilev). The translation is made up of the combined text from two manuscript copies in the book Ananiasz Zajaczkowski “La Chronique des Steppes Kıptchak Tevarih-i Deşt-ı Qıpçaq du XVIIe siecle” (Warszawa 1966).

Hypertension is a widely prevalent and important risk factor for cardiovascular diseases that increase with aging. The hallmark of hypertension in the elderly is increased vascular dysfunction. However, the molecular mechanisms by which increased blood pressure leads to vascular injury and impaired endothelial function are not well defined. In the present paper, we will analyze several mechanisms described in the scientific literature involved in hypertension in the elderly as endothelial dysfunction, increased oxygen delivery to tissues, inflammation, cellular apoptosis, and increased concentration of active metabolites. Also, we will focus on new molecular mechanisms involved in hypertension such as telomeres shortening, progenitor cells, circulating microparticles, and epigenetic factors that have appeared as possible causes of hypertension in the elderly. These molecular mechanisms may elucidate different origin for hypertension in the elderly and provide us with new targets for hypertension treatment.

Erythrocytes have high elasticity and the ability to build blood aggregates, they can pass through the smallest capillaries, thus ensuring the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide in all areas of the vascular system. A decrease in the deformability of erythrocytes may result in reduced blood flow and thereby the cause of many diseases. The increase in blood viscosity is observed, among others, in diabetes, hypertension, obesity and the elderly. Rheological studies of blood in conjunction with morphological and biochemical indices of blood provide valuable information about health of the patient. Any change in the viscosity of blood or plasma should be monitored, as this may indicate a health problem. The aim of the study was to present, based on the available scientific literature, physiological factors influencing changes in rheological properties of blood, for example: exercise, temperature and body weight

In this article, Sarah Jane Palmer discusses the importance of the prevention of skin tears and the role practice nurses can play Skin tears can present a complex and chronic problem for an older patient with fragile skin, and can be very disabling, reducing quality of life dramatically in some cases. The right care is essential from all members of the wider team caring for older patients, in order to identify risk factors for skin tears, as well as formulating a care plan of prevention that relates to these risk factors. Good skin care is essential, as well as patient education, and identifying ongoing issues with the patient's health that present a factor to consider when caring for them, such as mobility issues. Self-care should be encouraged where possible, and the correct use and choice of emollients that are pH balanced is crucial. By preventing skin tears we not only give the patient a far better quality of life, but we also reduce the need for very limited NHS resources.

Nowadays, there is a need to provide new applications which allow the definition and implementation of safe environments that attends to the user needs and increases their wellbeing. In this sense, this paper introduces the EJaCalIVE framework which allows the creation of emotional virtual environments that incorporate agents, eHealth related devices, human actors, and emotions projecting them virtually and managing the interaction between all the elements. In this way, the proposed framework allows the design and programming of intelligent virtual environments, as well as the simulation and detection of human emotions which can be used for the improvement of the decision-making processes of the developed entities. The paper also shows a case study that enforces the need of this framework in common environments like nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Concretely, the case study proposes the simulation of a residence for the elderly. The main goal is to have an emotion-based simulation to train an assistance robot avoiding the complexity involved in working with the real elders. The main advantage of the proposed framework is to provide a safe environment, that is, an environment where users are able to interact safely with the system.

Idosos. Educação do Lazer. Experiências Intergeracionais. abstract In the current society, leisure time is the right of every citizen, and education constitutes a fundamental pillar for the transformation of free time into rewarding leisure time. Leisure education is essential, enabling elderly people to develop creativity, freedom, independence, community participation, intergenerational coexistence, etc., in such a way that old age becomes a time for learning and for personal and social development.Based on the review of current scientific literature on leisure and on various experiences in Spain, we highlight the leisure time of the elderly and family leisure education (experiences in which grandparents, parents and children participate) as important educational oppor  tunities. Rewarding leisure time can help overcome the negative view of old age, enhance the time shared between different family members and promote knowledge exchange between different gene  rations, from the perspective of lifelong learning. A task that Social Pedagogy has been developing in the last decades. keywords Family Leisure. The Elderly. Leisure Education. Intergenerational Experiences.
