Last update importance of the study of the physical condition of soils Precarpathians. It was found that the physical properties of soils are among the earliest human subject affected by agricultural use. These theoretical and practical areas as greening research, optimization of the use should be of paramount importance in the monitoring system of soil Ukraine. Key words: physical state of the soils, Precarpathians, ecology, soils monitoring.

The article investigates soil Holohory-Kremenets Hill Ridge. Attention is paid to the study of the physical properties of the main soil types of Holohory-Kremenets Hill Ridge. As the research area is a region of long agricultural use, soils undergo the intense of anthropogenic pressure. The article analyzes the level of degradation of physical properties of soils of studied area. Key words: soil, physical properties, density, porosity, structure and degradation.

Background: In recent years, sudden deaths of primary and secondary school students caused by sports activities have drawn great attention in education and medical circles. It is necessary for schools to monitor the physical condition of the students in order to reasonably set the duration of their physical activity. At present, the physical condition monitoring instruments used in various hospitals are expensive, bulky, and difficult to operate, and the detection process is complicated. Therefore, existing approaches cannot meet the needs of physical education teachers on campus for detecting the physical condition of students. Methods: This study designs a portable human-physiological-state monitoring and analysis system. Real-time communication between a wearable measurement device and a monitoring device can be ensured by real-time detection of the environment and power control of the transmitted signal. Results: From a theoretical point of view, the larger the number of segments M, the more significantly the reduction of false alarm probability. The simulation results also show this fact. Compared with the conventional early warning mechanism, the probability of a false alarm for the proposed system is lower, and the greater the number of segments, the faster its reaction speed. Conclusion: The portable monitoring system of student physical condition for use in physical education of primary and middle school students proposed in this paper ensures real-time monitoring of the members within the system in an open environment, and further proposes an early warning mechanism for combining multiple vital sign parameters. In addition, the proposed system functions faster; the average early warning time required is only one-quarter of that of the conventional system.

The anthropogenic transformation of soil physical properties of the transition stripe from the dry to the middle steppe in the Northwest of the Black Sea region is considered and analyzed on the basis of comparison of indicators characterizing the properties of the cultivable and subcultivable horizons. The signs of negative influence of agricultural use on the most important indices of physical properties of soils are investigated. Significant degradation of the physical properties of the arable horizons (in comparison with tillable and subcultivable horizons), as well as deterioration of the water resistance of the structure of the tillable horizons (compared to the arable) was revealed. The geographic regularities of agrogenic evolution of sodic and residual-sodic calcic chernozems and gypsic kastanozems are established.

We are entering a whole new era of life . . . there are two sides to technological knowledge—good and evil . . . I'm concerned about the extraordinary power of [atomic] weapons and the strain they impose on humanity . . . when it comes to this deadly technology, we follow people who are mad, because people who are sane and understand the democratic process haven't taken charge. . . . The first part of the "Atoms for Peace" was great . . . there was an exchange of information about the medical use of isotopes, the agricultural use of tracers, the physical properties of matter . . . then they started sending things—devices, fuels—instead of ideas, and these became a major export . . .—it's a nightmare.

The improvements in the performance characteristics of cements due to carbon fiber reinforcement are described. In particular, the structure, the physical properties, the mechanical behavior, and the durability aspects of carbon–cement composites using pitch-based fibers are discussed. The various possible applications of these composites in structural and nonstructural applications are enumerated. The future research needs are identified. Key words: cements, carbon fibers, microstructure, strength, toughness, durability, applications.

Kata kunci: Sistem terbenam, sistem pemicuan dan pemantauan, auto-diagnostik This paper presents a real–time embedded remote triggering and monitoring system using SC12. A protocol converter associated with data interpretation unit has been developed and implemented. In order to expand simultaneous operation channel with data interpretation unit, intelligent auto–diagnostic features has been implemented for run–time error detection purposes. Key words: Embedded system, triggering and monitoring system, auto-diagnostic

Abstract The present investigation shows that no direct relation exists between either combined sulfur or density and the degree of vulcanization. It is not probable that the various changes in physical properties of the rubber during vulcanization are due to changes in the polymeric state involving a change in primary valence forces. Neither is it apparent in what manner combination of sulfur has contributed directly to the change in physical properties of the rubber. It is probable that the change in physical state is due to a change in manner or degree of aggregation of the rubber molecules.

Disabled poet Larry Eigner makes striking use of the space of the page to create poetry that operates in a visual as well as linguistic register. Many critics have read Eigner’s oeuvre in light of his physical condition, but no scholar has previously looked to the parallels between the Black Mountain artists’ experiments in abstraction and Black Mountain poet Larry Eigner’s work, though the same influences are clearly evident. Working collaboratively and interdisciplinarily, the authors combine their expertise in the disciplines of literature and art history, reading both the words on the page and the page as picture, in a manner that engages specifically with phenomenological philosophy, to explicate how these poems work on the body of the reader.

Key words: embodiment, abstraction, poetics, typography, metaphysics, phenomenology
