The influence of the film formed during the salting of champignon mushrooms with brine containing NaCl and KCl was modeled using the finite elements method (FEM). It was verified that the film formed on the mushroom surface had a greater influence in the static salting since the diffusion of the ions was 7.5-fold smaller in this system than in the stirred salting. The application of self-organizing maps showed that the ions diffusion along the surface of the solid presented a heterogeneous occurrence and depended on the region for both static and stirred salting. A direct relation was observed among the mushroom surface morphology, the salts diffusion behavior, and the film formation. In addition, the film was not completely extinguished in the stirred system, although it has a minimal influence as the film formation is also dependent on the biosolid surface.

Investigations are performed for further observations of heat and mass transfer in magneto-hydrodynamic mixed-convectional nano-fluid flow with the assumption of variable viscosity and thermal-conductivity over an unsteady stretching sheet. Base fluid is Carboxy-methyl cellulose (CMC) water as a carrier fluid with different nano-particles such as [Formula: see text] (Titanium), Ag (Silver), [Formula: see text] (Aluminum), and Cu (Copper). Flow contains different physical parameters, such as heat source, chemical reaction effect, Schmidt number, and radiation absorptions effects are observed to be significant in the presences of magnetic field. Obtained equations are solved by numerically BVP4C-package (shooting method) and analytically by BVPh2.0-package (Homotopy Analysis Method “HAM”). Interested physical quantities are, viscosity-parameter ( A), Thermal-conductivity parameter ( N),Thermocapillary-number ( M), Hartmann-number (Ma), Prandtl-number (Pr), 4-nano-particles ([Formula: see text]), temperature Grashof number ([Formula: see text]), and mass Grashof number ([Formula: see text]) are the focus to the velocity, temperature, and solute concentration profiles. It is concluded that, Solute concentration of ([Formula: see text])-water has higher than the other 3-nano-fluids. Mass flux, heat flux, and Skin friction of fluids are direct functions of magnetic force, while inverse function of temperature. Magnetic force also decreased the speed of fluids and hence mass flux reduced which implies that, the temperature reduces. [Formula: see text] has also inverse relation with mass flux, heat flux, and skin friction, while direct relation with the speed of fluids. Similarly, [Formula: see text] has inverse relation with [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text], but direct relation with [Formula: see text]. Different results are shown in graphical and tabular form.

The objective of this study, stated as Previous Notation, is to demonstrate that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Pathology presents a differentiated condition in carriers where a significant percentage, close to 60%, present a higher level of zinc elimination by kidneys. In this study, a direct relation of Zinc Mettalicum pathogenetic symptoms, this disturbance and the elimination of this element which participates in neurotransmission process were identified, and the relation with elements from regular diet, which can act as zinc chelating agents would be involved in the evolution of this disturbance, justifying the issue of individual susceptibility, essential in homeopathic investigation

The well-known epistolary conflict between Fyodor Dostoevsky and Nikolai Strakhov over the latter's slander of the great Russian writer's terrible sins is considered in the article from the point of view a philosophical anthropology and relations not two but between three participants of this story: Dostoyevsky, Strakhov and Tolstoy. This conflict is presented through anthropological, existential, and class prisms of description, based on a reconstruction of Strakhov's concept of man as a controversial, dual, and undefined being reflected in Dostoevsky's work. A direct relation between the definition of the dual nature of man in the works of Strakhov and Dostoevsky and interpersonal conflicts within "boundary forms of literature" is substantiated. Special attention is paid to the class of seminarians, the object of Dostoevsky's targeted criticism. He saw their worst characteristics in Strakhov personality. Tolstoy plays the role of an arbiter in this controversy, assessing the situation both in terms of literary, existential and religious thought. In the course of his examination of this conflict, his unexpected closeness to Dostoevsky was discovered in regard to assessment of Strakhov. The point of their coincidence was the "pink Christianity" of the writers, who justify man in a quite similar manner, in terms of their religious consciousness.

<p>En este artículo proponemos que la actividad económica de México puede estimularse cuando los salarios progresan en relación directa con la productividad laboral y las tasas de inflación objetivo. Para ello, aplicamos regresiones de umbral para mostrar que, después de un cierto valor, los salarios no son inflacionarios en absoluto y que, si la productividad laboral aumenta, los niveles de ocupación o empleo aumentan. Entonces, esto conlleva a un aumento en la actividad económica (considerando otras variables, a saber: los costos unitarios comparativos del trabajo en la industria manufacturera, las condiciones críticas de ocupación —precariedad—, la tasa de interés interbancaria de equilibrio y el índice de tipo de cambio real). Mostramos esto para la economía mexicana con datos mensuales del periodo 2007/01-2019/05.</p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center">WAGE-LED GROWTH IN MEXICO: A THRESHOLD REGRESSION ANALYSIS</p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong><strong></strong></p>In this article we propose that the Mexican economic activity can be boosted when there are progressive wages in direct relation to labor productivity and targeted inflation rates. To this purpose, we apply threshold regressions to show that, after a certain threshold value, wages are not inflationary at all and that, if labor productivity increases, occupation or employment levels increase. Then, this leads to an enhancement in economic activities (controlling for other variables, namely: comparative unit costs of labor in the manufacturing industry, critical employment conditions —precariousness—, the equilibrium interbank interest rate and the real exchange rate index). This is shown for the Mexican economy with monthly data during the period 2007/01-2019/05.

Aims: This narrative review’s purpose was to verify a possible association between obesity and COVID-19-related outcomes. Methods: A PubMed research was done in May 2020, and after the eligibility criteria, 10 articles were included, which were analyzed, and its results compared. Results: It was observed that, because of the changes caused by obesity in the organism, this comorbidity is an important risk factor for Sars-CoV-2’s infection severity and hospital stay. Moreover, obesity has been considered a risk factor for adverse clinical outcomes. Also, it was possible to notice that most individuals with obesity were male, therefore a direct relation was traced between men with obesity and COVID-19’s severity, and this population required more intubation and those older than 20 years old presented higher mortality rate. Besides that, the association between obesity and other comorbidities seems to worsen even more the infectious state. Conclusions: However, it was not possible to find a pathophysiological mechanism that can fully explain those associations. Therefore, more studies are vital to understand this subject.

Abstract In contrast to previous attempts to establish a direct relation between Freud and Kabbalah, this article argues for an indirect relationship mediated by way of Schelling’s philosophy. My claim is that Freud’s Oedipus complex partly originated in Schelling’s idea of God’s contraction, which he arguably derived from the Lurianic doctrine of zimzum. Furthermore, in thinking of the oedipal complex, and of repression more generally, as a late development of the Lurianic and Schellingian imagination of what I call “productive negativity,” I suggest that an important conceptual horizon is opened for the Freudian concept, one that transcends the widespread but narrow formulation of repression as a retroactive and regressive mental mechanism.

Background: Meningiomas and gliomas are the two most common types of human intracranial tumors. However, meningiomas are not exclusively human tumors and are often seen in dogs and cats. Methods: To present meningioma surgery in dogs and compare the surgical possibilities, tumor location, and to show the differences between human and veterinary approaches to tumor profiling. Eleven dogs with meningiomas were treated surgically for 5 years. All tumors except one were resected radically (Simpson 2). Localization of tumors mirrored that of human meningiomas. Results: Two dogs died in direct relation to surgery. One died 14 months after surgery due to tumor regrowth. Three dogs died of unrelated causes 10–36 months after tumor resection and five dogs are alive and tumor-free 2–42 months after surgery. Conclusion: Radical surgery in dogs is as effective as in humans. Thus, we propose that it should be implemented as first-line treatment. The article is meant to please all those overly curious neurosurgeons in the world.

Abstract In the age of neural networks and Internet of Things (IoT), the search for new neural network architectures capable of operating on devices with limited computing power and small memory size is becoming an urgent agenda. Designing suitable algorithms for IoT applications is an important task. The paper proposes a feed forward LogNNet neural network, which uses a semi-linear Henon type discrete chaotic map to classify MNIST-10 dataset. The model is composed of reservoir part and trainable classifier. The aim of the reservoir part is transforming the inputs to maximize the classification accuracy using a special matrix filing method and a time series generated by the chaotic map. The parameters of the chaotic map are optimized using particle swarm optimization with random immigrants. As a result, the proposed LogNNet/Henon classifier has higher accuracy and the same RAM usage, compared to the original version of LogNNet, and offers promising opportunities for implementation in IoT devices. In addition, a direct relation between the value of entropy and accuracy of the classification is demonstrated.

This position paper seeks to identify the undermining of freedom and human rights, juxtaposed through the narrative of “so much ill and so little good” (Easterly, 2006) regarding traditional aid and cooperation. The hardships currently constructed by linear frameworks leave no space for countries to define their own developmental pathway. The inherent ideology of current constructs neglects local initiatives and freedom of action and needs to endorse humanistic dialogue or a shift in approach, rather than a radical change of content. This paper proposes a hybridised approach as a means to “restoring culture” in development for Development Aid with Reciprocity ‐the deepening of human rights in every sphere of development and increasing the voice of people. It is contended that development aid for reciprocity in direct relation to the benefit of assistance to the countries in question would provide a most positive approach to development.
