Penerapan Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) PT. Sinar Sosro merupakan bagian dari strategi penguatan internal bisnis perusahaan dan pilihan yang cukup penting dalam konteks, karena tidak sedikit berbagai implementasi ERP oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia yang mengalami kegagalan, baik disebabkan oleh over budget, over time dalam pengerjaan proyek, kinerja sistem yang kurang maupun keuntungan yang tidak sesuai harapan (Dantes & Hasibuan, 2011). Pilihan investasi ERP ini bukan tanpa sebab, berbagai pengaruh lingkungan internal maupun eksternal telah menjadi dorongan tersendiri bagi PT. Sinar Sosro. Dalam tahap inisiasi, implementasi ERP dilakukan secara bertahap dimulai dengan modul SAP kemudian modul FICO (Financial Controlling) dengan memperhatikan kesiapan infrastruktur dan pengembangan aplikasi-aplikasi existing (in-house development) agar nantinya dapat diintegrasikan dengan basis data pada ERP.

Sistemas Integrados de Gestão ou Enterprise Resources Planning - ERP possibilitam o processamento das informações necessárias em uma empresa usando um único banco de dados. Muito tem se escrito sobre este tipo de software, abordando questões como o alto custo da aquisição de licenças, e a dependência de consultoria para a sua adaptação e implantação nas empresas. Atualmente vem crescendo o desenvolvimento e uso de ERP Livre de Código Aberto (FOS-ERP). Porém verifica-se que este tipo de sistema ainda não é suficientemente explorado, mesmo no meio acadêmico. Este artigo relata alguns trabalhos publicados sobre o assunto e levanta questões que devem ser tratadas por pesquisadores e demais interessados para adequar e viabilizar o uso desses sistemas conforme a realidade nacional. Assim, após uma introdução ao tema, são apresentadas algumas diferenças entre o FOS-ERP e seus equivalentes proprietários (Proprietary ERP ou P-ERP) em termos de modelos de negócios, seleção, customização e evolução. Em seguida são elencados alguns desafios e oportunidades que o FOS-ERP pode oferecer a usuários, fornecedores, pesquisadores e colaboradores individuais. Concluindo, este artigo busca ampliar a discussão sobre FOS-ERP, destacando fatores tais como seu potencial de inovação tecnológica e estratégias de negócios.

Implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects in many organizations are faced with failure concept in recent years. Researchers focused to implement ERP projects successfully by proposing the success model. However, through these attentions to get ERP benefits, the ERP failure measurement model is required. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop the instruments for ERP post-implementation failure measurement model. To achieve this outcome, the study firstly evaluates the suitability of Technology-Organization-Environment framework for the proposed conceptual model. Constructs were used for this model included two formative and six reflective constructs. A questionnaire was developed to test the validity and reliability of instrument items. A survey was conducted among Iranian industries to collect data and data analyzed by Smart PLS software. The results indicated that all instruments items included 37 critical risk factors (CRFs) as measurement were acceptable for the ERP post-implementation failure model.

ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) is a kind of management software system which makes a balance and coordination of the overall planning and utilization of all resources on the supply chain, value chain and information chain of the enterprises. It is a management concept concerning the market orientation of production manufacturing. Lu brocade enterprises should construct the ERP system according to the actual needs. ERPS (Enterprise Resources Planning System) is an information technology software that aims to aid organizations in their functions. According to many research the system proved its significance especially in the fields of accounting and financial management. However, this system in Lebanon has been less effective and less implemented. This research aims to identify the motives that make organizations implement ERPS and the reasons that render them not apply it. Accordingly, a mixed approach has been done. The methodology of the study used both quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative research used a questionnaire that addressed 150 employees who work with or are aware of ERPS in order to identify the barriers that made them not use it. For the qualitative research in-depth interviews were held with managers and supervisors to identify the motives that made them use ERPS. The findings of the study indicated that they use ERPS to manage financial resources, and report financial information effectively. The barriers to use it included lack of IT infrastructure, lack of training, and lack of IT support.
