Hospital Information System (HIS) is a form of healthcare information system that is globalized and applied in the medical sector. Researchers, doctors, and management are all interested in the rate of success of HISs; therefore it's a continuous study topic. At this research, we created a new tool to assess the success rate of HIS in a medical center based on the perspectives of users. The research was place in Ebnesina and Mashhad, Persia, at the Dr. Hejazi Mental Center and Educational Facility. A self-administered standardized questionnaire based on Information Systems Success Model (ISSM) was used to gather data, and it included seven factors: systems quality, data quality, quality of service, system use, applicability, fulfillment, and positive externalities. An advisory group checked the content's legitimacy. Cronbach alpha was used to test the consistency and stability of dimensions. To examine the importance of relationships between variables, Correlation and regression was determined. On the basis of user feedback, the HIS rate of success has been established. The research included a approximately 125 participants. A content validity index (CVI) of 0.8 and a validity ratio (CVR) of 0.86 were used by an advisory committee to verify the item. The instruments have an overall Cronbach's alpha of 0.9. Between the analyzed dimensions, the Pearson’s correlation coefficient revealed substantial positive connections. In the institution under investigation, the HIS rate of success averaged 65 percent. (CI: 64 percent, 67 percent). The greatest success rates were found in the aspects of "effectiveness," "systems quality," and "positive externalities." Future research might employ the tool used in this research to evaluate HIS. In this research, a technique for calculating the HIS rate of success depending on user feedback was established. This strategy enables institutional HIS chances of success to be compared. Our results also highlight the perspectives of HIS clients in a developing economy.

This study aims to analyze the success of the e-learning system, which is influenced by learner computer anxiety, social influence, perceived usefulness, and usage satisfaction. This study uses a survey, with the respondents being students at universities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The number of respondents is 250 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, and the data analysis method uses a structural model, namely PLS-SEM. The results showed that the e-learning adoption success model was accepted. However, this study's results showed that the effect of perceived usefulness and learner computer anxiety on adoption is not significant. This research has a novelty related to adopting innovations, namely e-learning in forced conditions, and there is no choice but online learning, which must be done during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research contributes to the support of the technology adoption theory by users in situations of involuntary adoption.   Received: 14 October 2021 / Accepted: 30 November 2021 / Published: 3 January 2022

Substantially, the theory of e-government public value (PV-EGOV) has been treated as a hot topic to be explored insightfully. This research comes to be considered as the launching point to empirically evaluate the creation of PV-EGOV in Jordan. The main aim of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the PV-EGOV in the context of Jordan. Information System Success Model (IS success model) was selected to determine the factors affecting the e-government public value in Jordan through the quality factors (system, information, and service) and their role in citizens' intention in use and satisfaction of the e-government. The structural Equation Model (SEM) approach was harnessed to obtain the results. The results indicated that the most critical determinant factor that affected the PV-EGOV was service quality. The current article has theoretical and practical implications for public institutions in Jordan. The future work trends are established in their specific section of this article.

Purpose This study aims to evaluate the Accounting Information Systems (AIS) effectiveness on the organizational level by extending DeLone and McLean success model in developing countries like Jordan. Unlike other studies, this study investigates the effects of system quality, information quality, process quality, collaboration quality, service quality, individual performance and workgroup performance toward organizational performance during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Design/methodology/approach A self-administrated survey was used to collect data from 104 accounting managers operating in listed Jordanian firms in the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE). The partial least squares-structural equation modeling method was used for data analysis. Findings Eight relationships were tested, whereby six were supported as was expected. Particularly, the empirical results reveal that individual performance is positively and significantly influenced by information quality, process quality and service quality. Furthermore, workgroup performance is positively and significantly influenced by individual performance. The results also show that organizational performance is impacted by individual performance and workgroup performance. Originality/value The current study is among the first empirical studies that has extended the information systems success model to evaluate AIS success during COVID-19 pandemic. This study also offers insights into the importance of AIS success among listed Jordanian firms in ASE.

PurposeThis study attempts to gain insight into what factors influence individual behavior towards the adoption of telemedicine application during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The research model incorporates two well-known theories namely the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT2) and DeLone and McLean information success model to examine individual behavior towards the adoption of telemedicine application.Design/methodology/approachThe research design of this study is based on quantitative research approach. During research survey, 350 valid responses were received from Pakistani citizens and examined to understand citizen's behavior towards the adoption of telemedicine applications. The research model was empirically tested with the latest statistical approach namely variance-based structural equation modeling (VB-SEM).FindingsThe results of the structural equation modeling have revealed that altogether performance expectancy, social influence, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, habit, hedonic motivation, price values, information quality, system quality and service quality explained 77.9% variance in determining user behavior towards adoption of telemedicine application. The predictive relevance of the research model was found substantial in measuring user behavior to adopt telemedicine applications. The research framework is further extended with moderating role of perceived severity between the relationship of user intention and actual usage behavior. Results confirmed that the positive relationship between intention to adopt telemedicine health application and usage behavior will be stronger when perceived severity is higher.Practical implicationsTheoretically, this study integrates extended UTAUT2 and DeLone and McLean information success model and contributes to e-health literature. Practically, this research suggests that by improving user performance expectancy and effort expectancy, managers and healthcare professionals can boost user confidence towards the adoption of telemedicine applications.Originality/valueThis study is unique as it integrates the extended UTAUT2 with DeLone and McLean information success model and perceived severity to investigate user behavior towards adoption of telemedicine application during COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the integration of theories contributes to information system literature in the context of the adoption of telemedicine applications.

Background: The Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Finance and Planning implemented the Government Electronic Payment Gateway (GePG) system to improve the whole cycle of revenue management. As of June 2020, the system has been implemented in 660 institutions, 28 commercial banks, and 6 mobile money operators. Whilst the initial acceptance of this system is positive, relatively no study has evaluated its effectiveness in meeting the expected benefits. Elsewhere, similar systems showed initial acceptance at the beginning, followed by failures after some years of use. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the effectiveness of GePG system to find out how effectively public money is spent. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the success of GePG system using users’ satisfaction as a success measure.Method: The study adapted the updated Delone and Mclean Information Systems success model whereby perceived usefulness and trust in system were added as new factors. The sequential explanatory design research design integrating quantitative and qualitative data within a single investigation was adopted. A total of 442 users from 271 institutions in 11 regions in Tanzania participated in the study. Results: Trust in system, information quality, and perceived usefulness had a significant positive impact on users’ satisfaction with GePG system, whilst service quality had a significant negative impact. In contrast, system quality did not have an effect. Conclusion: The study shows that trust in system and perceived usefulness are important factors in the updated Delone and Mclean IS success model in evaluating user satisfaction with revenue collection systems. The findings from the open-ended questions and implications of the findings are discussed.

We investigated the effects of factors determining people's continuance intentions for using over-the-top (OTT) services. We used the expectation–confirmation model (ECM) and the information systems success model as the basic theoretical framework, and included habit as an extension to the ECM. Data were collected through an online survey of 226 Korean adults aged in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, who were users of Netflix, a representative OTT service. The results show that perceived usefulness was positively related to user satisfaction, and that habit was a major antecedent in increasing continuance intentions. The quality factors from the information systems success model were positively related to user satisfaction, habit, and continuance intention. Our results provide implications for both OTT service providers and users, by exploring factors that influence continuance intention after the adoption of OTT services.

PurposeThe success of social commerce group-buying information system (IS) is not a simple accumulation of functions, but a complex process of system integration that makes it difficult to design a high-quality website to improve the conversion rate of users has become a top priority for online companies. The purpose of this study is to further improve the IS success model to adapt to the new research scenarios and explore the boundary conditions between different satisfaction and repurchase intention.Design/methodology/approachIn this study, the users who have used the group-buying website quality for social commerce in the last 6 months are the objects of this study. Finally, 436 valid data were collected by questionnaire survey and analyzed by Smart PLS.FindingsThe results indicate that the four dimensions of website quality enhance consumers' economic satisfaction and social satisfaction, except that the path of system quality and social satisfaction is not significant. Economic satisfaction and social satisfaction also have a significant positive effect on repurchase intentions. Besides, the interactive effect of customer involvement and economic satisfaction has no significant impact on repurchase intention, but customer involvement plays a moderate role in the path of social satisfaction on repurchase intention.Originality/valuen order to make the IS success model better evaluate the characteristics of social commerce sites comprehensively, this present research introduces the measurement construct of interaction quality. Moreover, this study examines the effect of mechanism of economic satisfaction and social satisfaction on repurchase intention from the perspective of practical benefit and psychology. Finally, the boundary conditions of the effect of satisfaction on repurchase intention are explored.
