Top management approaches to assessing quality management from the perspective of adaptability and sustainability

The article discusses the evaluation of the quality management system from the perspective of sustainability and adaptability. The methodology developed by the authors for calculating complex indicators of sustainability and adaptability of the quality management system based on data is presented for analysis of the quality management system by top management.

The paper describes automation means of the quality management system’s functions for the purpose of optimization an autoservice enterprises (AE) activity. Activity of an enterprise can be explored at regional level, within the scope of an independent enterprise or structural unit and at the level of the certain select technological process. There is a relation between the levels. An important task is a modeling of enterprises activity at all levels. This research is performed at the enterprise PJSC “CHERKASSY-AUTO” in Cherkasy (Ukraine). This enterprise is included in “UkrAUTO” corporation. One of directions of an enterprise activity optimization is restructuring. For information support of the restructuring, a database model of the visual area in the UML notation has been created. The database consists of fourteen tables. The complex indicators of quality of services rendered at the enterprise are calculated. The location of the enterprise, quality estimation of completed services and their nomenclature were taken into account. The algorithms of selection optimal organization form of an enterprise are built for the subsystem of management quality system. The algorithms are implemented in visual development environment Delphi 7.0., supporting the concept of object-oriented programming. Technology of using a developed software package is described step by step. Saving of the results of the survey of AE customers is additionally provided. The modules of Delphi project contain the subprograms, in which are used the method AHP of Saaty and graph theory methods. The results of subsystem approbation indicate the efficiency of developed algorithms. The developed software complex gives an opportunity to get the forecast of the most frequently performed services, it can function both separately at the car service enterprises, and within the Intelligent Quality Management System (MIS) of AE.

Following the implementation of "doi moi" or economic renovation policies in Vietnam in the late 1980s, State-Owned Enterprises have been forced to compete in a market economy environment. This new focus on competition necessitates a change in the quality management system. Looking at the process of ISO 9000 implementation in two Vietnamese footwear companies, this article examines the effect of different interpretations by top management of the need for and commitment to ISO 9000 certification. The results suggest that management attitude plays an important role in determining the process and impact of ISO implementation.

A busca pela sobrevivência vem fazendo com que as empresas adotem estratégias para se manterem competitivas no mercado, aliado a isso, obter qualidade em seus processos e produtos se torna um fator crucial para as organizações. Dessa forma, tendo ciência da importância da qualidade para a competitividade das instituições, o objetivo desse trabalho consiste em descrever o processo de implantação de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade (SGQ), de acordo com os requisitos normativos da ISO 9001:2015 em duas empresas prestadoras de serviços na região do Vale do Aço e evidenciar a importância da participação da alta direção nesse processo. A metodologia utilizada para implantação do SGQ consistiu na definição de seis metas físicas, sendo possível realizar todas as atividades necessárias. O SGQ foi implantado nas empresas, estando em fase inicial de operação e requer grande atenção da alta direção para que as deficiências sejam sanadas e o sistema apresente melhoria contínua.The search for survival has led companies to adopt strategies to remain competitive in the market, along with this, getting quality in your processes and products becomes a crucial factor for organizations. In this way, being aware of the importance of quality for the competitiveness of institutions, the purpose of this work is to describe the process of implementing a Quality Management System (QMS), according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard requirements in two service companies in the Vale do Aço region and to highlight the importance of the participation of top management in this process. The methodology used for the implementation of the QMS consisted in the definition of six physical goals, being possible to carry out all the necessary activities. The QMS was implemented in the companies, being in the initial phase of operation and requires great attention of the top management so that the deficiencies are solved and the system presents continuous improvement.

This article focuses on the implementation of Shariah-based Quality Management System (QMS) MS 1900 in Melaka State Syariah Court (MSSC) which is one of the earliest Syariah Courts being certified with the MS 1900 QMS. This study was conducted with a case study strategy that uses a semi-structured interview technique involving 11 informants consisting of top management and the committee members at MSSC. Findings of this study were discovered by employing thematic analysis techniques with the help of Atlas.ti software 8. The findings indicated that there were 13 steps in the implementation of MS 1900 MSSC that is start work on ISO 9000, top management leadership, visits to benchmark institutions, the establishment of special committees, resource management, documentation, procurement and supply, Management Review Meeting (MRM), continuous improvement, internal audit, external audit and services at MSSC. The findings of this study can help other institutions to get guidance to start MS 1900 implementation of pending successfully certified by SIRIM. .

During the last decades, the concept of quality suffered deep transformations by becoming strongly aware of the fact that the responsibility regarding quality belongs not only to the quality manager but also to the entire staff. In other words, the top management has to create such a quality management system so that to be able to continuously control all the activities involved in achieving quality. This paper will show a few examples of how the quality control instruments are applied (using graphic methods of presentation) in order to solve some problems that can occur in an economic society.

Recently, the evolvement of globalization era has been the global challenges that cannot be avoided either by private or government sectors, and they are requested to be survived encountering such the condition. The implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) in the operational company is the way how to guarantee the quality of products or services offered to the people. One of the purposes of QMS implementation is to provide a prime satisfaction to the customers. The impact of QMS implementation is expected to increase job performance of the employees. Besides the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS), the impact of global challenges has been increasing the competitive efforts to execute more effective production process. However, it has required manpower protection accordingly. This research aims to find out whether the implementation of quality management system and safety and healthy at work management system have impacted on the job performance of employees. Objects of this research are the employees in the production department at PT Guna Senaputra Sejahtera Plant 1 Bogor. Data analysis technique of this research has applied software Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). PLS has estimated a model of correlation among the latent variables and correlation between latent variables and its indicators. Result of data processing has indicated that the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) and system of safety and healthy at work have positively and significantly impacted job performance of employees.Keywords : Quality Management System (QMS), Safety and Healthy at Work System ( SHWS / SMK3), and Job Performance of Employees
