The role of the teacher in curriculum administration is to compile a curriculum as a guide to the process of learning and teaching activities in an agency in order to succeed and facilitate useful activities in the agency.

The curriculum is a very important and decisive component in the delivery of education. the curriculum functions as a tool for the achievement of educational goals, if educational goals change then automatically the curriculum must also be changed. In Law Number 20 of 2003 it is stated that the curriculum is a set of plans and regulations regarding the content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines in implementation of the teaching and learning process. For children the curriculum is useful as a tool to develop all the potential they have towards a better direction under the guidance of teachers at school. For teachers, the curriculum functions as a guide and reference in organizing learning in schools. In curriculum administration, according to Prof. Soetjipto and Drs. Raflis Kosasi, MSc in his book entitled Teaching Profession (1999: 148) that the curriculum is a set of student learning experiences with all the implementation guidelines systematically arranged and guided by schools in the activities of educating their students ".

This article describes the administration of special services. The teaching and learning process requires the support of facilities that are not directly used in the classroom. Facilities that do not directly include school libraries, school cooperatives, school health businesses and school cafeterias. Management of special services in schools is effective and efficient School Based Management (SBM). School is one of the facilities that can be used to improve the quality of Indonesia's population. Best practices of formal school education, particularly in the instructional management relates to teaching and learning. Education deals with all domains of human competency. In elementary school, unfortunately, there is still a discrepancy between aim and result. Teacher misconduct will affect students’ bad character. The incorrect education process may create failure in achieving defined educational goals. It is vital for any nation to have competent educational practitioners to ensure its success in developing its students’ skills as a human capital investment of a nation. School curriculum goal is derived from the national education aims which develop students’ potentials for becoming good people in hard skills and soft skills. Therefore, the ideal teachers should understand all students’ characteristics and potentials. This research is an attempt to highlight the function of instructional management of soft skills to the success of students’ performance.  The study employs a qualitative research method with multiple case study design, in which a meaning-making activity is underlined as the first objective of interpretive research in understanding social phenomena of education activities. Such phenomena to be interpreted may be found in the practical realm, skilled know-how, and experiences. Based on findings, it is known substantively that students’ soft skills will not be developed if the instructional management focuses on academic. On the other hand, soft skills will enhance significantly students’ academic results, because soft skills will enable and improve students’ potentials to reach the best learning achievement. At last, the researcher offers soft skills formula from an Islamic perspective as a comprehensive concept for building student character to be a good man. In Islamic precepts soft skills are akhlak-adab, good character, positive behavior, spread kindness and bring many benefits to others and the environment. However, these soft skills must be placed under the guidance of Qur’an and Sunnah.

The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the administration process of students in order to achieve the objectives of education, the technique used is the study of literature that is collecting some material from journals, books, and others.Administration of students (students) is the entire process of activities planned and planned deliberately and continuous guidance for all students in the relevant educational institutions in order to be able to follow the teaching and learning process (PBM) effectively and efficiently, to achieve educational goals has been established.The purpose of the administration of students in education is generally to regulate all activities related to students so that the teaching and learning process runs effectively and efficiently so that the educational goals can be maximally achieved.In administrative students there is a process or activity carried out by the administrator, namely 1) the activities of the beginning of the school year which include planning, 2) during the school year, 3) the end of the school year.Instruments in student administration are master books, book clusters, student condition lists, student attendance books, school discipline records, student achievement notebooks, and mutation books.
