Tsunami which was generated by the 2004 Aceh eartquake has beenhaunting our life. The building damage due to the tsunami could be seenthroughout Meulaboh Coastal Area. Appearing of the physical loss wasclose to our fault. It was caused by the use dan plan of the land withoutconsidering a tsunami disaster threat. Learning from that event, we haveconducted a research on the pattern of damage that caused by the 2004tsunami. Based on the analysis of tsunami hazard intensity and thepattern of building damage, it has been made a landuse planning whichbased on tsunami mitigation for Meulaboh. Tsunami mitigation-based ofMeulaboh landuse planning was made by intergrating some aspects, suchas tsunami protection using pandanus greenbelt, embankment along withhigh plants and also arranging the direction of roads and setting of building forming a rhombus-shaped. The rhombus-shaped of setting of the road and building would reduce the impact of tsunamic wave. It is expected that these all comprehensive landuse planning will minimize potential losses in the future .

In recent years, Tourism activities in Gunungkidul Coastal Area rapidly increased. A large number of tourists visiting the coast considered as elements at risk that are exposed to tsunami hazards. Disaster infrastructures provided by the government e.g. hazard maps, evacuation routes, and locations for assembly points are inadequate. The tsunami inundation models provided by the government are based on national topographic maps (RBI), resulting in inaccurate models. DEM generation using UAV Photogrammetry produces high spatial resolution data that results in more accurate tsunami inundation model. The results of the model using UAV photogrammetry are also capable of producing several inundation scenarios and determine the safe areas that can be used for temporary evacuation sites. The use of UAV photogrammetry for tsunami inundation models provides many advantages including low cost and accurate model results. Evaluation of hazard maps and assembly points using UAV Photogrammetry modeling lead to more effective and less time-consuming on the evacuation process.

Tsunami occurrence in Indonesia has continued to increase until 2018. The southern coast of Java is one of the tsunami-prone areas because it is located in a subduction zone. Study location is Sadeng coastal area which is located in the south coast of DIY Province. Disaster vulnerability studies at the household level is still limited, so this paper aims to identify physical and social vulnerability to tsunami hazard at the household level. The data of this research was obtained by invterviewing household respondents and observing physical condition of building. Identification of physical vulnerability was performed using modified SCHEMA and PTVA-3 method, while social vulnerability assessment considered demographic and socio-economic parameters. Total vulnerability was retrieved from matrix analysis of physical and social vulnerability classification. The study shows that 64 % households in Sadeng coastal areas are classified to moderate vulnerability, 30% of households are high vulnerability and 6 % of households are low vulnerability.  High vulnerability is characterized by households which occupy non-permanent houses, have no economic assets, and have a high dependency ratio. Moderate vulnerability is characterized by households which occupy semi-permanent house, have economic assets, but have high dependency ratio. Low vulnerability is characterized by households which live in government-owned buildings, have economic assets, and have low dependency ratio. Keywords: tsunami, vulnerability, building`s physical vulnerability, social vulnerabilityKejadian tsunami di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan hingga tahun 2018.

Opening ParagraphThe Aŋlo are an Ewe-speaking people who occupy the low-lying coastal area between the Volta river in Ghana and Lome, the capital of Togo. They are among the most mobile of West African peoples, Aŋlo beach seine fishing companies having for many years operated from beaches as far afield as Sierra Leone and Angola. In recent years, however, the governments of certain West African countries have ordered their removal in attempts to protect the interests of indigenous fishermen. This has meant that these companies have tended more and more to return to Ghanaian beaches, but have found that the increasing mechanization of Ghanaian coastal fishing presents a serious threat to their continued operation.

Big Earthquake generating tsunami occurred in the southern coastal of Java on 17 July 2006, There was a Tsunami waves occurred in the coastal area of West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta. Southern part of Java is characterized by a high potential tsunami hazard. Parangtritis is located on the southern coastal area of Bantul District, Yogyakarta Province (Java Island). This area is considered as high vulnerable area due to tsunami. Sand dune in Parangtritis area have a function such as a barrier to threat tsunami hazard. The problem of this research is some stakeholder did not give aware to sand dune conservation as a barrier of tsunami hazard. To minimize the loss material, it is necessary to have a barrier for minimizing tsunami impact such as sand dune which can be determined by considering tsunami hazard zones. This research is aimed at detecting the changing of sand dune actual condition using remote sensing application on ALOS PALSAR Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar technique and simulate the tsunami inundation hazard impact (Scenario direction wave: south west, south east, south and west & elevation scenario wave: 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, 25 m and 30 m). The inundation zone due to tsunami would be determined using the predicted water depth scenario. The hypothesis of this study is the scenario tsunami wave with southeast direction and elevation wave 30 meters has large impact and thus need more extensive sand dune conservation area. The final result of this research is tsunami hazard map and sand dune conservation management map.
