Penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh beberapa peneliti sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar siswa masih rendah. Rendahnya kemandirian belajar disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya kemampuan siswa itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa SMP di Kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode korelasi. Penelitian diawali dengan memberikan tes berupa instrumen soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket yang dapat mengukur kemandirian belajar siswa. Selanjutnya, peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan guru. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemandirian belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang baik. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil uji korelasi 0,808. Angka tersebut menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat kuat. Kata Kunci: kemandirian belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah.                                                                                                                                                                             ABSTRACT                             Most studies examine that the student’s independent learning is still low. This is caused by several factors. One of them is the ability of the students themselves. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of students’ learning independence to mathematical problem solving ability. The population of this research is 27 Junior High School students in Cianjur. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The study begins with having the students to do the problem-solving test and fill in the student learning independence questionnaire. The data and information were also collected by interviewing teachers. The results indicate that the students have good self-regulated learning and problem solving ability. It is reinforced with test results correlation 0.808. It means that there is a very strong influence. Keywords: self-regulated learning, problem solving ability.

<p class="Abstract">Problem-solving ability in mathematics is a primary means to understand a problem and develop the students ' ability in solving a problem. Step in solving problems are categorized to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan and reflection. This research used a descriptive method aimed to identify the problem-solving ability among junior high school students and review from students self-regulated learning (SRL).The subjects of the research were taken by one student in each SRL category (high, medium, and low) which then given the problem-solving test and the result was triangulated by interview. Based on the research, it can be stated that the students with high self-regulation can solve a mathematical problem by applying first indicator, the second indicator, third indicator, but they cannot apply the fourth indicator. The students with medium self-regulation can apply the first indicator and second indicator while they are still having the problem in third indicator and fourth indicator. The students with low category self-regulation cannot apply all of those in solving the mathematical problem.</p>

AbstrakPemecahan masalah merupakan suatu kemampuan yang sangat kompleks di mata siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa SMA kelas X dan respon peralihan matematika SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Bandung Barat. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah uji soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket kemampuan matematika siswa apabila ditinjau dari peralihan SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Jumlah soal yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak empat dari enam butir soal yang disediakan dengan angket yang berisikan sepuluh pertanyaan, yang terdiri dari empat pertanyaan tertutup dan enam pertanyaan terbuka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September 2018 dan 8 Oktober 2018. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas X di Bandung Barat terhadap materi SPLTV tergolong tinggi, dengan persentase sebesar 79,868%. Siswa yang memiliki latar belakang pemahaman SPLDV yang baik cenderung mudah memahami SPLTV dengan baik pula. Analysis of Problem Solving Ability and Respons of Transition from Junior to Senior High School in SPLTV MaterialAbstractProblem-solving is problem-solving in the eyes of students. The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the mathematical problem solving of high school students in class X and the response of the transition of junior high school to high school to SPLTV material. This research is in the form of qualitative descriptive research with class X objects in one of the high schools in West Bandung. The instruments in this study were problem-solving questions and mathematical ability questionnaires which were reviewed from the transition of junior high school to high school to SPLTV material. The number of questions used in this study amounted to four of the six items provided with a questionnaire containing questions, which consisted of four closed questions and six open questions. This research was conducted on September 10, 2018, and October 8, 2018. The ability to solve the problems of grade X students in West Bandung on SPLTV material was high, with a contribution of 79.868%. Students who have a background in understanding SPLDV can easily consider SPLTV well too.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran dan kemandirian belajar pada materi persamaan garis lurus siswa SMP. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada kelas VIII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada materi Persamaan Garis Lurus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII E. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes soal uraian dan angket kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan: (1) tingkat kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam penyelesaian masih level rendah; (2) kesulitan siswa pada umunya belum memahami soal dan prakonsep masih rendah; (3) siswa belum tertanam rasa belajar secara mandiri. Kata kunci: kemampuan penalaran matematis, kemandirian belajar.   ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the ability of reasoning and self-regulated learning on the material of equations of straight lines of junior high school students. This research method using qualitative descriptive method. This research is conducted in SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi in Grade VIII of academic year 2017-2018. The population of this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi who have studied the material of the equation of straight line. The subject of the research is the students of class VIII E. To obtain the research data used the instrument in the form of test description and questionnaire self-regulated learning. The results of the research concluded: (1) the level of students' mathematical reasoning ability in the problem solving is still low level; (2) students' difficulties in general have not understood the problem and the preconception is still low; (3) students have not embedded the sense of learning independently. <p class="Abstract">This research is quasi experiment with control group pretest-postest design. The sampel in this research using the techique of purposive sampling so the samples used were two classes of the 11<sup>th</sup> grade students of SMAN 14 Bandung in the academic year 2017/2018. The experiment group uses saintific approach using Quantum Learning strategy and control group uses saintific approach. In collecting the data the researcher will use the test of problem solving ability and self regulated learning as the instrument. The aims of this research are to:1)find out the improvement of students mathematical problem solving through scientific approach using Quantum Learning study, 2) find out students self regulated learning through scientific approach using Quantum Learning.</p>

This study aims to determine the mathematical problem solving ability of students in solving story problems with online learning. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The results showed that there were differences in the ability to identify the elements that were known and asked, there were differences in the ability to choose and apply strategies or problem solving procedures and there were differences in the ability to examine and explain the results or answers according to problems between students with high, medium mathematical problem solving abilities. and low. There are 43% of students who have been able to follow and adapt online learning while 57% of other students have difficulty understanding the material being taught. There are 60.86% of students who have a high enough enthusiasm in online learning (online) but 39.13% of students are not happy if learning mathematics is done online due to factors that influence it such as technical constraints. There are 73.91% of students with a positive response to the problem of mathematical problem solving ability even though the learning is carried out online and 26.08% of students with a negative response.

This research is motivated by the level of junior high school students' mathematical problem solving was still low. Based on the preliminary study which conducted by one of the schools in Batam shows the average score for mathematics was 62 for 100 scale. The purpose of this study is to obtain and investigate the improvement of students' problem-solving mastery on relations and functions material as the effect of  PAKEM model. The research method which used is pre-experiment and with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were VIII grade students of one of the first junior school in Batam at odd semester 2015-2016 academic year, totally 32 students.  Sample of this research were taken by random sampling technique. Students’ problem solving mastery was measured by using problem-solving test, whereas the students’ problem-solving mastery improvement between before and after the concept of effect size implementation was calculated to find the effect size of applying the PAKEM model. The result showed that the effect size of applying the PAKEM model on improving problem solving mastery is 3.3, it means, the PAKEM model implementation on improving problem-solving mastery on function has a strong influence. It can be concluded that the PAKEM model implementation can improve problem solving mastery.

  This research is an experimental study with only posttest control design that aims to develop students' mathematical self-regulated learning (SRL) abilities. The population subject is VII grade private junior high school students in one of the schools in Medan. The experimental class gets learning with an exploratory approach and the control class gets conventional learning. With a total number of students 68 students of class VII junior high school consisting of 34 students in the experimental class, and 34 students in the control class. The instruments used in this study were mathematics self-regulated learning (SRL) scale, observation sheets, and questionnaire results. The results of this study indicate that an exploratory approach can improve the ability of mathematical self-regulated learning (SRL) better than using conventional approaches.
