Abstract UCI-190 (HP) material is a general-purpose alloy for use in steam-cracking tubes and fittings and reformer furnaces. HP alloy has carburization, oxidation, and creep resistance at temperatures up to 2000 F. The alloy is weldable by GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW using electrodes with composition matching the base metal (25Cr-35Ni) or NiCrCoMo-1 (AWS 5.11 and AWS 5.14). Preheat or post heat normally are not required. UCI-190 has been used for many years providing consistent and predictable results in high-temperature applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-689. Producer or source: Ultra-Cast Inc.
