T.K. Kwak and Y. Lee called a ring R satisfy the commutativity of nilpotent elements at zero[1] if ab = 0 for a, b ∈ N(R) implies ba = 0. For simplicity, a ring R is called CNZ if it satisfies the commutativity of nilpotent elements at zero. In this paper we study an extension of a CNZ ring with its endomorphism. An endomorphism α of a ring R is called strong right ( resp., left) CNZ if whenever aα(b) = 0(resp., α(a)b = 0 ) for a, b ∈ N(R) ba = 0. A ring R is called strong right (resp., left) α-CNZ if there exists a strong right (resp., left) CNZ endomorphism α of R, and the ring R is called strong α- CNZ if R is both strong left and right α- CNZ. Characterization of strong α- CNZ rings and their related properties including extensions are investigated . In particular, it’s shown that a ring R is reduced if and only if U2(R) is a CNZ ring. Furthermore extensions of strong α- CNZ rings are studied.

Mobile DNA elements play a significant evolutionary role by promoting genome plasticity. Insertion sequences are the smallest prokaryotic transposable elements. They are highly diverse elements, and the ability to accurately identify, annotate, and infer the full genomic impact of insertion sequences is lacking. Halanaerobium hydrogeniformans is a haloalkaliphilic bacterium with an abnormally high number of insertion sequences. One family, IS200/IS605, showed several interesting features distinct from other elements in this genome. Twenty-three loci harbor elements of this family in varying stages of decay, from nearly intact to an ends-only sequence. The loci were characterized with respect to two divergent open reading frames (ORF), tnpA and tnpB, and left and right ends of the elements. The tnpB ORF contains two nearly identical insert sequences that suggest recombination between tnpB ORF is occurring. From these results, insertion sequence activity can be inferred, including transposition capability and element interaction.

Abstract Objectives: Molecular characterization of a patient with BWS. Clinical presentation and intervention: A 4-year-old boy with overgrowth (weight above 99th and height at 99th percentile) had longitudinal hemihypertrophy of the tongue and left cheek. In addition, there was a difference of one centimeter in the circumference of the left and right leg. Molecular genetic analysis revealed hypomethylation of KvDRM1 (LIT1) in the imprinting control region-2 (ICR2) on chromosome 11p15.5 and a normal methylation pattern of the H19-differentially methylated region (H19-DMR) in the ICR1. The estimated tumor risk was 1-5%. Conclusion: This patient with clinical characteristics of BWS has an imprinting defect associated with a low risk of embryonal tumors.

The study was undertaken to characterize of Black Bengal Goat (BBG) under farming condition. Data on the different parameters were collected during July 2006 to June 2013 at BLRI goat research farm. A total of 299 animals of different ages from birth to 36 months of both sexes were included. All type of measurements were taken when goats standing freely. All measurements were taken in metric unit. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 17.0 statistical computer program. In BLRI goat herd, four different types of coat color were observed in BBG i.e. Black, Black and white, Black and brown and completely white. Body length is higher in males than that of females for all generation and age group. Male goats had higher heart girth than that of female goats irrespective of age and generations. Average adult (>24 months age) body weight of male and female goats as 29.9±1.76 and 23.6±0.81 kg, respectively. Wither height was higher in adult males than females for same age. Left and right horn length in both sexes ranged from 3.6 to 13.2 cm. Female goats had higher ear length than male goats. Tail length of Black Bengal goats ranged from 8.0±0.52 to 11.1±0.43 cm and tail breadth ranged from 2.1±0.10 to 3.6±0.43 cm for different age and sex group. Average male foreleg length in >24 months of age possessed higher than that of female. Average udder length and breadth of BBGs were 7.5±0.24, 11.7±0.44 and 14.3±0.46 and 5.9±0.16, 7.4±0.28 and 7.8±0.23 cm, respectively for age groups 6-12, 12-24 and >24 months of age. The average testis length and breadth in adult males were 9.1±0.18, 7.5±0.48 and 9.8±0.49 and 6.8±0.13, 5.2±0.27 and 6.3±0.32, cm respectively for 6-12, 12-24 and >24 months of ages groups.Asian J. A ring R is called, according to [2], a left p.p. ring if any principal left ideal of R is projective. A ring which is left and right p.p. is called a p.p. ring.In this short note we shall give some additional remarks to A. Hattori [2]. In Proposition 1 we shall give a characterization of commutative p.p. rings, and in Proposition 3 we shall give a generalization of Proposition 17 and 18 in [2], which shows also that the modified torsion theory over commutative p.p. rings coincides with the usual torsion theory.

Cardiac myofiber orientation is a crucial determinant of the distribution of myocardial wall stress. Myofiber orientation is commonly quantified by helix and transverse angles. Accuracy of reported helix angles is limited. Reported transverse angle data are incomplete. We measured cardiac myofiber orientation postmortem in five healthy goat hearts using magnetic resonance-diffusion tensor imaging. A novel local wall-bound coordinate system was derived from the characteristics of the fiber field. The transmural course of the helix angle corresponded to data reported in literature. The mean midwall transverse angle ranged from −12 ± 4° near the apex to +9.0 ± 4° near the base of the left ventricle, which is in agreement with the course predicted by Rijcken et al. (18) using a uniform load hypothesis. The divergence of the myofiber field was computed, which is a measure for the extent to which wall stress is transmitted through the myofiber alone. It appeared to be <0.07 mm−1 throughout the myocardial walls except for the fusion sites between the left and right ventricles and the insertion sites of the papillary muscles.

AbstractLet R be a commutative ring with an automorphism ∞ of finite order n. An element f of the skew polynomial ring R[x, α] is nilpotent if and only if all coefficients of fn are nilpotent. (The case n = 1 is the well-known description of the nilpotent elements of the ordinary polynomial ring R[x].) A characterization of the units in R[x, α] is also given.
